Doctor Whooves has Two Lovers Now...by FlutterPalChaptersStorms and Free FallingJust ImaginationDevil GrinsYOU RUINED MY DINNER PARTYClear Cries and Big HeartsStorms and Free FallingDoctor and Derpy dashed through the door of the TARDIS. They slammed the door behind themselves leaving them locked together. Both of them stood panting for breath. “Well, ‘huff’ that was ‘huff’ interesting,” Doctor Whooves said. Derpy nodded in agreement. The doctor went over to where the controls of the TARDIS lay. Buttons blinked green and red lights endlessly. “Where do we go next?” the gray pegasus asked the doctor. “Home,” he said back. Sounds of the TARDIS shifted and echoed around in Derpy’s head. The gray mare wobbled her switched-up eyes in every way, looking straight at the doctor. Or at least, trying to look straight. “Hey Flitter, where you going?” she called in a mocking voice. Rain pounded on Doctor’s back as he slowly inched forward in a soft short trot. Lights flashed then disappeared in small crackles glowing up the sky for a short moment. It was very close. The lightning was very, very close. So close it made the time lord’s mane into a fuzzy static Mohawk. Derpy flew overhead, trying to use her wings to cover herself from the rain. They were just too busy flapping. Oh well. More noises came and almost each time she did a squeaked yelp. And each time she did that Doctor tried to shush her. But she couldn’t help it. Derpy didn’t see where the noise was coming so it frightened her. Outside a vortex glistened and shifted colors. All were either future, others were past but no present. Everyone has their present and the future ALWAYS becomes the present. The time machine appeared on an abandoned street in the middle of Ponyville. The two ponies got out to see that it was very, very stormy. Lighting crackled in the sky as thunder boomed overhead. The doctor looked around carefully. “Well that’s quite a storm,” he said. Suddenly a purple pony with a blue mane ran towards the two. “Derpy! Doctor! Come quick! It’s Cloud Chaser she-“ The mare stopped and took a few deep breaths. “She is jumping around the edge of a mountain, and I’m afraid she’s going to fall! And she is really near the lightning zone! And, an-“ then the mare who’s name was Flitter passed out on the ground. “This sounds pretty seriou- wait, doesn’t Cloud Chaser have wings?” the gray mare said with suspicion. "Well, depending on which cliff Flitter was talking about, the deeper the fall the harder to use the wings,” Suddenly that surprised Doctor. He ran ahead. And the wall-eyed pegasus followed. Wind blew past their faces making the two shiver. They ran to the nearest cliff with lots of lightning. Well, all the cliffs in Ponyville had lightning. Thunder boomed off in the distance making Derpy shriek. It took a while. The village that they lived in didn’t have many cliffs. Still, Derpy knew every twist and turn. It was still blurry, and yet very nice. It was just how her eyes worked. She forgot how she got her eyes like this. No one knew, except Doctor. I asked him to show me how my eyes were like this, but he said it was not time yet. I listened. You’ve got to listen to a time lord if he/she says it’s not “time”. Doctor was still getting used to the streets of the village. While running he almost ran into some things, tripped over some mushrooms, and stopped a lot. He was just being kind to pedestrians and some animals that were crossing by the lead of a yellow pony with a light pink mane. They did get there though. And there was Cloud Chaser dancing and prancing near the edge of a cliff.“Hey Flitter, where you going?” she called in a mocking voice. Oh well. More noises came and almost each time Derpy did a squeaked yelp. And each time she did that Doctor tried to shush her. But she couldn’t help it. Derpy didn’t see where the noise was coming so it frightened her. It was taking a little bit long because they were slowly being cautious while walking toward Cloudchaser. It was the wrong choice they had made right that moment, right that time. A big mistake. There was a lightning strike right next to the purple mare, causing her to jump and fall right down that cliff. Free-falling, as you would say it. ************************************** Cloudchaser screamed and screamed out trying to get some pony to help her. One time she tried to open her wings, all she felt was the pain of one of the wings being broken. She fell screaming, trying to get up to glide or something. The wind was too fast for her to do that though. Cloudchaser screamed and cried, almost sure she’d die free-falling. Tears- or rain drops fell in her face as she fell down hundreds of feet down a cliff. All of a sudden, in a moment, a gray and brown color fell through the sky. And her biggest present of all, they didn’t save pour Cloudchaser. Doctor flew on his assistant’s back while trying to save the mare. Amazingly, the stallion flew off Derpy’s back and tried to reach the falling pony. Reaching out, he grabbed Cloudchaser, and flew softly to the ground. Cloudchaser’s wing stinged in pain as it was being healed. Wait, healed? She was saved? She relaxed even more at the brown stallion before her, healing her with all things a pony could need to be healed. Then the purple mare had gone to sleep dreaming of the handsome brave stallion. Oh, that stallion. Just ImaginationDerpy drifted around the outskirts of Ponyville. She watched intently from above in the sky on Doctor’s fixings. He looked like an ant from where Derpy was, but she knew everything he was doing. She saw him wrapping up Cloudchaser’s wing and checking for injuries. She loved watching him work. It was always like he could fix almost anything! Well, except Derpy’s eyes. Derpy knew well enough that she could go down into the depths of the cliff and check on Cloudchaser if Doctor waved his hoof at her. That he did. She swooped down and flew to where the purple Pegasus was. She landed about five feet away and trotted the rest of the track. Doctor was looking most concentrated on her wing. Droplets of blood were coming softly out of the bandage. The wing itself was in a crooked position. Derpy saw that the wing was broken, but she never saw it happen before. Then Doctor began to talk. “No no, why’d she try to open her wings! This dumbfounded Pegasus!” Derpy heard him mutter. The gray Pegasus sat down on her haunches and looked at the earth pony to try to see how good Cloudchaser was getting better. She stopped bleeding, but her wing was still in a crooked position. “Good thing I went to medical school for this! But now I can’t fix her wing!” Derpy heard the Doctor mutter again. After a few hours, Doctor said he was finally done. He woke Cloudchaser up and muttered kind words to her to keep her calm. Derpy forced on a smile. She saw that Cloudchaser’s cheeks were standing out as a pinkish color. She was blushing. Or maybe it was just her imagination! Derpy tried to keep herself and Cloudchaser’s spirit’s high. But the wall-eyed mare couldn’t help but wonder if that was just imagination. Why would anyone else love Doctor? Why was she thinking of this? She didn’t know. All Derpy was doing was bringing more unanswered questions to her mind. Questions she couldn’t answer. Just what she needed. ************************************ Clouchaser felt her cheeks warm up as the stallion began talking calming words to her. Behind him was a gray Pegasus forcefully smiling. Her vision still blurry, she stared at the stallion, trying to hide her smile. Her vision came back slowly. Each time her eyesight became more clear, the harder it was to hide her smile. He was just so, handsome. Her vision came back and Cloudchaser realized she recognized the stallion. She’d seen him and a gray mare rushing around Ponyville a few times and disappearing inside of a blue box. Time Turner. Was that his name? Suddenly she felt a burning pain in her left wing, and flinched. Cloudchaser looked down at her wing to find it in a crooked position. The purple pony flinched once again at the pain she was experiencing. How was it- broken?? She suddenly realized where she was. A depths of a cliff? Cloudchaser was thinking too hard. WAY to hard! Was she still in Ponyville? Why was she here? How was her wing broken? What had she done? Wasn’t Flitter with her? What, when where… ********************************* Everyone was trotting around Ponyville, not even seeming to notice Doctor Whooves and Derpy helping along a broken-limbed Pegasus. Nor did they notice how could three ponies fit into a telephone box? Must have been pretty hard to think about if you didn’t know that it was actually bigger on the inside than it was on the outside. After they got into the blue box known as the TARDIS the Doctor set to work. Cloudchaser looked in front of herself to feel her jaw drop. The room was HUGE! All around the walls there were huge lights and a dome like structure! In the middle was A HUGE control panel glowing bright blue! Lots of beautiful scenery before her eyes! Were her eyes deceiving her? Didn’t they just go into a telephone box? That’s weird… “The inside is-“ she began before Time Turner interrupted saying “ Yes, I know, bigger than the outside, but isn’t it a beauty?” the earth pony said. “The TARDIS is what it’s called quite an enjoyable way to travel!” he continued. “You could see how it works sometime- well, I mean come time travel with Derpy and I sometime!” “Time travel?” Cloudchaser croaked. “You know, into space, go to a different time and save the universe!” the man said cheerfully. Cloudchaser looked around the time machine some more. By one of the walls was the gray mare she saw earlier going through some stuff in her saddle bag. Wait, that mare was Derpy right? That wall-eyed Pegasus? How her? Why her? Cloudchaser was clicked out of her thoughts when Time Turner came back toward her with some more medicine. Finally, she thought. A good look at him. He was handsome, smart, and now, a pony who time travels! Cloudchaser wondered what it could have been like to travel with this guy. Awesome, probably, to save people in time with this stallion. He looked strong, and of course he was. He was definitely what Cloudchaser would ask for a date. That gray mare Derpy better watch out with this mare if she also liked him. She’d better watch out. Devil GrinsDerpy shuffled through the items in her saddle bag, desperately searching for a snack. All there was so far was the mail she had to deliver, but Derpy kept on searching. “Come on, almost there,” she said quietly to herself. Her hoof felt packages, paper, even chap stick. But no food. Derpy slumped down on the TARDIS wall, rubbing her growling stomach, then she groaned. It was SO long since she had eaten. All of a sudden Derpy realized how much letters and packages were scattered on the floor, and her empty saddle bag as well. Derpy widened her eyes at the mess, and at the fact that she needed to deliver all this mail. She got up and began to pick up the mail, putting it in her brown bag. “Doctor! I need to go to deliver this mail, can I leave?” Derpy asked. Doctor looked back at the gray mare and pointed his hoof towards the door. She smiled politely at him then trotted to the door. On her way there, she looked at Cloudchaser to see that she WAS blushing, and even smiling at Doctor. Derpy turned back to the door, her face probably red as well, but with anger. Just as she was about to leave the TARDIS Derpy thought she saw out of the corner of her eye Doctor turn away and Cloudchaser gave a devilish grin to her. Derpy’s face reddened even more, but only to make her turn and fly out of the time machine. *********************************************** Cloudchaser watched Derpy walk out the door of the- TARDIS? She didn’t completely know the name of the time machine, yet. But seeing that mare’s face SO red like that had to make her smile. A creepy, weird, and evil smile. But it was the highlight of her day, and it had to mean that Derpy had feelings for Time Turner too. Heck, probably BIG feelings if her face was THAT red! Cloudchaser laughed quietly while flash backing the image, then Time Turner came back and put an ice pack on her wing, gently. She went back to being a regular pony blushing and looking as confused as can be. “Ok then, I’m the Doctor. Just telling. Can you please try to move your broken wing?” asked the Doctor. Cloudchaser opened her wing and tried to flap it slowly. She groaned, then “Youch! Ow, that hurt!” she yelped, her voice echoing around the TARDIS. Doctor shook his head at the yelp. “That’s a big no,” he said. Cloudchaser rolled her eyes knowingly. Doctor trotted around the control panel, thinking aloud. Clodchaser looked at him with lover eyes. So funny that he thought aloud, yet so intelligent that he was a timelord. This stallion was hers. How she was going to get it that way, she didn’t know. YET! Cloudchaser laughed devilishly, but quiet so Time Turner would not hear. She knew that this Derpy would still have to watch out for Cloudchaser. She HAD to see what Cloudchaser could do. Kiss him in front of her? Easy. She could make her SO jealous! All she needed was a plan. A big, workable, non-stupid plan. “Doctor? I’m feeling hungry. Can we stop by a restaurant?” Cloudchaser asked the stallion. Good plan Cloudchaser, she told herself. Now he just needs to say yes. “Umm, sure why not? Could be fun, let’s go,” he responded. Cloudchaser got up from where she was sitting. Very fun is what it could be. No Derpy, with this handsome Doctor on what seemed like a date. And she could make this VERY fun. Very, very fun. ********************************************* Derpy flew from door to door and mail box to mail box until she reached the last house/cottage in Ponyville. Dropping the letters at the pony’s doorstep, she left the cottage untouched and began to fly back towards the TARDIS. On the way she thought about Cloudchaser, and if she had feelings for Doctor as well. The way she blushed, that devil grin, and how she was looking at Doctor all told Derpy that she was after him. The thought of losing Doctor to Cloudchaser made her eyes sprout a few tears. Derpy just couldn’t lose this- fight? She silently groaned to herself, then lowered herself closer to the ground. After a little trot, she arrived at the TARDIS; her destination. Opening the door, she looked inside to find that Doctor and not even Cloudchaser were there. Derpy’s face felt hot. At a date, huh? Not if Derpy has anything to say about it. Cloudchaser would regret messing with this mare. She may have some wall eyes, and an almost endless amount of joy but when opened to her anger, she was a disaster. Cloudchaser REALLY will regret it. Now, thinking what restaurant? Derpy already knew. It was Doctor’s favorite! The time table pizza place. (Weird name, right?) Trotting to the weird-named pizza place, she stopped by the prank store to get some silly string. Derpy wouldn’t use this yet. She couldn’t in front of Doctor. But later, maybe. Grr, let’s just get this over with. Now in front of the restaurant, she walked inside and said to the cashier that she would like to sit with the guests at table ten. (Doctor's favorite table.) The cashier widened his eyes, then pointed to one of the fancier tables already seated with two guests. Perfect, she thought. Once she leaves we can do this. Heck yeah it's gonna happen now. YOU RUINED MY DINNER PARTYDerpy trotted over to table ten smiling like nothing was wrong and that she wasn’t about to ruin a restaurant. “Hey, guys! What up?” she called. Doctor looked over in surprise. “Oh hey Derpy, and everything's fine,” he said. Cloudchaser frowned, a look of anger on her face. Derpy squeezed into the table right next to Doctor. Cloudchaser’s face reddened, but her frown disappeared to be replaced by a confused look. “Umm, Doctor? Is it ok if me and Derpy have a talk?” she asked. Then the Doctor was met with the confused look. “Sure, I guess,” he replied. Cloudchaser took Derpy by the hoof and walked down to a private corner. Pushing her against a wall, her Cloudchaser’s face turned from confused to super angry. “You came here at the WRONG TIME!” she whispered. “You just ruined EVERYTHING!” Derpy smiled and said, “Well, you’re not gonna win Cloudchaser. Because I’ve been Doctor’s companion longer than you have. What about that?” she said, folding her front arms. Cloudchaser suddenly relaxed and her face gave another devil smile. “I have more skill than you in boy chasing. Just watch me, and you’ll be crying for help and advice with a broken heart and an empty soul. You hear me?” she said. Derpy felt a tear run down her cheek, but soon got angry. “It’s not going to happen, AS I SAID!” pulling her hooves out, she grabbed Cloudchaser by the waist and pulled her down, Derpy following. Cloudchaser got more mad by the minute, as well as her face got more red. “You just HAD to take MY chance of getting love with the Doctor! YOU RUINED MY DINNER PARTY!”Cloudchaser said, throwing Derpy across the floor. The gray mare got up, crying, then ran out the door. Cloudchaser walked back to Doctor’s table, now smiling, and happy that nopony noticed what happened. “Where’s Derpy?” he asked. She smiled then said, “Important mail pony business.” Doctor sighed but was soon cheered up when a plate of muffins was set in front of him. After an evening of dinner, Doctor and Cloudchaser walked back to the TARDIS without a word. At the time machine, Doctor opened and called out Derpy’s name a few times. But she was not there. “I thought she’d be here- nevermind,” he said, smiling at Cloudchaser. Cloudchaser smiled back. “Hey, can I sleep here for the night?” she asked. The earth pony shrugged, then lay on the ground. Cloudchaser did the same yet right next to him.“Hey Doctor,” whispered Cloudchaser. “Yeah?” he whispered back. “I, kinda like you a lot,” but he was already asleep. Cloudchaser shrugged and closed her eyes, almost immediately drifting into sleep. ************************************** Derpy sat in her bed, her pillow wet with tears. Cloudchaser was taking over Doctor! It was horrible, and it really made her cry. All those kisses she imagined, dates, foals- they were all dreams. Just dreams that could never happen. Fantasies with no happy ending. Pretty much anything that was happy which could never come true. More tears fell out of her eyes. Her mind told her to just give up. The real part of her told fight for what you love. Oh, who to listen to? Derpy couldn’t help herself. She cried more, and more, until she cried herself to sleep. Clear Cries and Big HeartsCloudchaser woke up to the droplets of water pouring on her. Rubbing her eyes, she looked up to find an angry staring at Cloudchaser, tear drops pouring out of her eyes. Cloudchaser smiled, a little nervous, for the fact that she was holding a broken picture of Doctor and her, laughing. “This is what you ruined,” Derpy said quietly. “Everything.” Cloudchaser averted her eyes to the floor nervously. And Derpy continued to talk. “I may have a small, puny appearance, but I have a big heart,” she said, dropping the photo to the floor. Tears fell out of Cloudchaser’s eyes as she angered up a bit. “But Derpy, just. Watch. THIS!” Derpy, taken by surprise, got tackled down to the TARDIS floor. They tackled for a while, not realizing their surroundings or sounds coming from them. Dizzy and angry is all they felt, not to mention the pain of each other’s fighting. Suddenly a giant shout came from the other side of the TARDIS. “STOP!” it said. Cloudchaser and Derpy stopped, only to be greeted by the face of a furious timelord. “Why are you two FIGHTING!” the Doctor shouted. Derpy began crying again, her sobs so loud they were all sure sleeping ponies from outside the TARDIS could hear them. Crying and crying and crying, Doctor was too angry at her to even let her be his companion. “Well…” she snuffled. “It’s a long story…” then she burst into more tears. Cloudchaser though, was still angry. “SHE STARTED THIS ALL! IT WAS ALL HER FAULT!” Derpy looked at Doctor then at Cloudchaser. “It all happened a few days ago,” she said, sitting back on her haunches. “Go on,” said Doctor. “I love stories,” ******************************************************** “And, you also may ask why we were fighting as well,” Derpy said, wiping tears from her eyes. “We were…” Derpy took a deep breath, looking into the Doctor’s blue eyes. “Because, well, we were fighting for your love…” Derpy sighed heavily as another round of tears floated onto her eyes. Doctor widened his eyes, looking at Cloudchaser then back at Derpy. “Y-you loved me Derpy?” he asked the sweet Pegasus. She nodded, but Cloudchaser stood up. “NO! She NEVER loved YOU! I DID!” Derpy stood up and looked into the purple Pegasus’s face. “That’s a LIE! All you are is a LIER!” “Woah, ladies, I’m sure that Derpy is telling the truth here,” he said. “She never lies.” Cloudchaser’s face reddened again, causing her to storm out the door. Doctor smiled at Derpy’s wall eyes. “Why were you hiding this?” he asked, hearing the slam of the TARDIS door behind him. Derpy looked up and said, “I don’t know,” then went in for a kiss. Doctor went in as well, and both of them kissed each other for a split second. Both of them smiling, they walked out of the TARDIS door, watching Cloudchaser storm away. “I never thought it would happen,” Derpy said. Doctor looked at her but suddenly, noticing the scratches on her along with some bruises, he freaked out a little bit. “Derpy, you’re bleeding!” Doctor exclaimed, pushing her into the TARDIS for a check-up. The gray mare laughed, looking at him with such a goofy look. “Alright, but I still have to fix these.” She rolled her wall eyes and let the stallion do his work. Banages and bandaids filled her body. On her wings, on her hooves, on her back, and her face. But the mare was happier than ever, and as could be. Just how Derpy dreamed, was happening right now. She could now have a foal, live a happy life as Doctor's companion, everything happy. Everything was just right. ************Epilogue************* READ THIS STORY AND FIND OUT THE EPILOGUE!
