When does a….When does a hero’s journey truly begin,…. journey truly begin.

When did you….When did you learn that the journey isn't a lonely road….a lonely road.

that you didn’t….that you didn’t have to face the darkness alone…. the darkness alone.

Lesser souls lose….Lesser souls lose heart, and lay down their swords,….down their swords.

but a champion….but a champion risks everything, for the greater good….the greater good.

        I wake up to loud noises coming from the next room, I think I also hear someone shouting. Groggily I stand up and start to walk to the room, what I saw wasn’t two ponies I was expecting to see instead I see two bipedal things with long lanky appendages hanging from the side of their body. Both of them were fully bound in clothes. Still a bit sleep, I thought the only logical thing I could, I must still be dreaming. So I did the only reasonable thing, I punch myself in the face, let me tell you hooves aren’t soft.

“Um, I think you broke her. She might have brain damage or is now in shock because of you,” the figure on the right whispered to the one on the left. This one looked like the female of whatever the species was. It, she had longer a longer mane and a higher pitched voice than most stallions.

“I did not break her as you put it, I merely stunned her from awe and wonder,” the male replied back. He had a much deeper voice like someone else I had met recently, but slowly I put two and two together.

Suddenly it clicked, it was that stupid planeswalker and Rainbow. How it took me so long is a mystery even to me, but me still entranced in thought stared open mouthed at them.

“No, I’m pretty sure you broke her.”

“She is still breathing still is she not, therefore she is not broken as you so eloquently put it.”

“Ugh, you know what I mean, just fix her already, I wanna get going.”

“Fine, you may think whatever you may, but the truth is she is stunned by awe and wonder.”

After their little quibble, I had collected myself enough to form some sort of thought, like what the hell was going on, but who cares cause I was grabbed by him and put into a force field, I think. Suddenly I started to get all sleepy again and bam, my head met the floor, again.

I moan and awaken again, I try to stand and fall flat on my face. What the hell is going on, normally I can stand on all four of my legs just fine even after a forced nap. Which does remind me, I needed answers and I know of two people who have them, if only I could find them. My train of thought was interrupted by a strange noise behind me, and see it’s what I presume to be Rainbow snoring quite loudly behind me.

Then I initiated my brilliant plan “Rainbow, help I can’t walk!” Quite the genius plan if I do say so myself.

That woke Sara up fast, “Huh, what’s going on, iszuta fire?” she stumbled up and looked around confused.

“What’s the big idea waking me up, huh I was having an awesome dream,” the woman said as she shot a dirty look to Twilight.

Twilight still quite confused tried to stand up again, this time it worked but it felt different from before. What was going on and what did that stupid planeswalker do the her.

“Umm, what are you doing?” Sara asked as she yawned out the last of her nap.

“Can’t you see I’m trying to walk here Rainbow, now he-.”

“That’s not my name, I changed it when I took this form, I thought new body, new name. It’s Sara Heartbringer now.”

Confused by the sudden outburst by Rain-, uhh Sara, Twilight was halted in her thoughts, but soon enough she gathered them. Slowly the surprises seem to be affecting her less and less. That thought worried her, was she being desensitized to new and exciting things this fast, I guess novelty wears off pretty fast.

Finally, I decided to look at herself to see if anything was wrong, I magicked out a mirror and realized I didn’t magic out a mirror. In fact I couldn’t use any magic at all, now was a good time to start panicking so I started running as fast as I can, towards the door screaming all the way, that must have been pretty funny to watch. It was then I realized that I was a lot higher from the floor than usual. Wait a second, I slowly lift my hand in front of me to see arms, I reach for my forehead and I don’t feel a horn. It hits me suddenly, all at once, I’m not a unicorn anymore. What did the idiot do, I never asked to be whatever he and Rai- Sara were.

Was this all my fault for not asking for answers sooner or was this the inevitable ending. I couldn’t do magic anymore I lost my special talent, wait a second, this is what Sara was talking about I’ve lost everything, no turning back now. This is the time now, slowly I stop running and turn around and walk back to Sara.

“My name is no longer Twilight Sparkle, it is now Amanda, Amanda Brighthearth, until my end that is what I will be known as from now on.”
