**The joy of memories.**

Vinyl wake's up, seeing Blade looking out the window. "Hey Blade we have a long time be for we get to Saddle-Arabia want to talk?" Blade looks over to Vinyl. "What about?"

  "Well how was your life before coming to Pony ville, and living with me?" Blade felt somewhat uncomfortable telling her, but he had nothing better to do.

  "My life before coming here was a sad one. I was always alone; I had a few friends, and my art. It was hard, but the few friends; I had to help me move along. I would draw everywhere I went, making art out of anything I saw, that helped me relax, and what about you. How was your life before I came here?"

'Easy going, music was, and is my life; I would always be on the road having concerts, had friends, but over-all I really did not have any-pony that I loved, there was one pony, but he liked some-pony named Octavia, said he was into classical music, and all that jazz; I was heart-broken, but got over it pretty quick. I had a secret spot no-pony ever knew about it was so peaceful, maybe I'll show you the spot someday." Blade starts thinking about home, and his spot.

  "Hey Vinyl you just reminded me of something I've never shown anyone before. I had a secret spot too!"  Blade pulls out a picture. "Well, I had this cave I found once I was in the woods, a place to relax here.' Blade shows vinyl the picture.

  "Wow! It's so beautiful. It looks like a cool place to go for a swim." Blade put's the picture back smiling at Vinyl.  "So how  did coming to Pony ville help you?"

  "Well it helped me learn how to talk, and socialize... even tho I only talk to you, and Twilight sometimes. I was not a talker before coming here. How did you react when you saw me?" Lowering his voice Blade says, "humans got a bad name here so how did you react?"

  "Well I knew Twilight had a friend to show me, and I have to say, seeing you did put some horror in me, and how did you react seeing me?"

  "Well from Twilight's letter I did not think I was going anywhere, but coming to a house, with a white unicorn, I had to say I thought I was dreaming... now that I think about it. You were a vampire when I was there. What stopped you from killing me?"

  'Well nothing. I know humans are bad, but Twilight knows what she was doing, so I did not kill you so tell me about humans what are they like'

Blade tries to answer Vinyl. "Well, I don't know. There are pleasant ones, and terrible ones. The good ones have a bad side that they don't show. The bad ones aren't really bad  but no matter what no one or pony will ever fully know the humans not even themselves. Does that answer your question?"

Vinyl nods "I did not know humans where like that...so what one are you?"

   "I don't really know... humans never know what they are it's what you think I am." Suddenly, Blade and Vinyl here screaming.

   "THIS IS A ROBBERY GIVE US WHAT YOU GOT!"

   "vinyl what do we do I don't want to show myself"

   Vinyl looks over to Blade.  "We will have to do something."

  "Fine" Blade pulls out a knife from his bag and gets up "I think you should stop now."

  "Ya? What are you going to do about it... wait are you a diamond dog? What the hell are you doing here?"

  Vinyl gets up "He's my friend, and he's not one to be taken lightly."

  Blade says in a low voice. "Diamond dog. Ha ya now we know what we say to ponies when they ask what I am."

  The robbers run attacking Blade and Vinyl. Blade jumps to the side cutting the robbers face. Vinyl bucking one of them knocking him out as Blade fights the robber dodging some of his attacks. Blade stabs the robber. "It's not too late to give up." Blade tries to get the robber to stop.

  "No it IS to late for you!" the robber rushes Blade. Blade dodges the robber grabbing the robber's mane and stabbing his neck the robber falls over slowly dying from blood loss. Blade walks next to Vinyl.

  "So there only you left, so what's it going to be you going to give up." The robber drops his weapon. "Some pony tie him up. I'm going back to my seat." Vinyl, and Blade walk back to their seat. She lies her head on   Blades lap. A pony approaches Vinyl and Blade.

  "Hey... thanks for saving us."

   Blade replies "Your welcome now can Vinyl, and I get some sleep please?"

   "Sure one more thing. Are you a diamond dog?"

   "Yes. I am. Now please may we rest?"

   "Right sorry."

    The pony walks away. Vinyl looks up at blade and says, "Not much longer now."  Blade pet's Vinyl's mane "Get some rest Vinyl." Vinyl goes to sleep on Blades lap the train comes to a slow stop.

  "We are coming to Appleloosia the train well be leaving in two hours next stop Saddle-Arabia."

  Blade tries to wake Vinyl. "Hey Vinyl, Vinyl get up the train stopped. We should go out, get some food, and look around." Vinyl slowly gets up. "Ok sure.' Blade and Vinyl get off the train. "You know, no matter what I never get used to seeing ponies, and not humans"

  Vinyl looks over to Blade. "Do you miss every one?"

   "Haha not in the least, but still it makes me sad to know I'm the only one here... enough talking about me. Let's get something to eat." Vinyl and Blade walk around getting some food enjoying sites enjoying their walk in an apple field "Hey Vinyl; I think we should head back to the train."

   "Ok let's go." Vinyl and Blade make their way back to the train 'ALL ABOARD!' Vinyl and Blade got there just in time. "Tickets please." Vinyl and Blade show their tickets "O.k you can go." They head in the train taking their seats. Blade smiles at Vinyl, and says, "Next stop Saddle Arabia every thing will soon be peaceful for a few years, and we can live happily in Pony ville."  The train begins to move. Vinyl rubs Blade's chest, saying. "Not even a vampire for that long, and your welcoming it as you did me."

    "Hey...it was not easy welcoming a new life, but still I'm here today, happy, a new me; I have someone... pony that I love, now go to sleep, I will wake you when we arrive there." A few hours go by, and the train comes to a halt. "I think we're here. Vinyl get up were here." They walk off the train.

   "Blade, let's get a hotel."

  "Alright, but first, let's get a bite to eat... if you know what I mean I'm getting hungry."

    "Here you can have some of mine when we get to the hotel." A few minutes go by. Soon they find a nice hotel. "Blade come here." Vinyl shows her neck.

   "Are you sure Vinyl?"

    "Yes I am." Blade leans in biting Vinyl, drinking some of her blood. He takes his fangs out of her neck.  "Are you ok vinyl?'

  "Ya, I'm fine that should help you until the concert." They slowly drift to sleep.
