Twilight, in an attempt to impress Princess Celestia, creates an ominous mechanical device for the science portion of her advanced studies in the arcane sciences. Even though she is the creator, not even she knows the power of her magical artifact. This occurs after Magical Mystery Cure. As friends leave her, and as life goes on, Twilight suffers from depression and turns to her machine for help. Little does she know that the treacherous, malevolent spirit inside it just might ruin her life. This story is inspired by the song "September" by The Living Tombstone.
