Scootaloo, having been told at a young age that she would never fly, decides to prove everyone wrong. She never once gave up her dream and always believed she would overcome her handicap.

Now, well past the age at which pegasi learned to fly, she makes a decision that could fulfill her dreams or be the cause of her death.

This is a short story about overcoming obstacles in your life and that anything is possible. This scene came to me while listening to Evening Star's "One Day I Will Fly" and "First Flight" (I highly recommend you check him out if you haven't already) Listen to those songs to enhance your reading experience. ;D

a little note: Scoots an the other CMC are now teenagers. RD and the gang are adults in their mid-20's (approximately.)
This was a very short story, but I had to elaborate and make it longer so I could submit it.
