Chapters Scootaloo broke into a run. The only thing going through her mind is to get far from her house. She found an alley and ran into it. Okay I think i'm safe ,Scootaloo thought. She curled up into a small ball. Why did this happen to me? Why me? A bunch was going through the poor filly's mind. But one kept coming into her head Why me? Scootaloo stood there for several minutes just asking herself that question. Slowly she regained composure. Alright , She thought. She looked to make sure no one was around, then found somewhere to lay down. Then once again she began to think. What went wrong? What did I do? Scootaloo stood there for a few moments. I guess I'll just have to face him , she thought. Alright let me think of how this could have happened.
She tried think of possibilities, each being as likely as the other. Eventually she gave up.
"Why is it so hard to figure this out!" She screamed.
She saw a can, kicked it. She became so angry.
"WHY ME DAMMIT!" She yelled.
She screamed a few more swear words and started to calm down. See glanced up towards the sky.
"I guess I won't know," she said.
Then she realized she was talking to herself. Ugh... What am I suppose to do now? Once again Millions of thoughts flowed into her brain.
She shook her head in a attempt to clear her mind. It didn't work What if rumble told people about him? . She shook her head again. He wouldn't break the promise. Would he? She looked at the ground anger in her face He better not have! She thought. She brought her head back up. I guess he had good intentions, if he did. She let a sigh escape her lips. She curled up into a small ball.
"Why me?" She said again.
Slowly her eyes closed and she was about to live these few weeks. And thus our story begins.
Scootaloo got up from bed with pain still from her stomach from last night beating. Let's just hope it doesn't hurt when i got to school Scootaloo thought. She crawled out of bed grabbed her saddle bag. She ran out the room to get ready for school. She made her breakfast, made her lunch, and grabbed her scooter. Alirght lets go. She ran out the door and raced towards school already being late.
Rumble gazed at his new school. Alright day one. He thought. Slowly walking into the school ready to start and get the day over with. He walked into the class room and sat down. Ms.Cheerlie already know he didn't want any introductions, But cheerlie still did.
"Class welcome our new student rumble!" She said.
Rumble simply waved.
"Alright so only scootaloo is absent."
A voice came from outside the classroom "NO!" Scootaloo came running in.
"Sorry I over slept," she said.
Rumble stared at her for a minute. "Scootaloo say hi to the new student."
Scootaloo turned to see rumble. "Hey... Um...." Scootaloo tried to think of his name.
"Rumble," Rumble completed.
"Hey rumble I'm Scootaloo." Scootaloo said
"Nice to meet you" She extended her hoof.
Rumble hesitated, but nevertheless meet scootaloo's hoof with his.
"Alright kids" came cheerlie's voice. "Take your seats so we cane start!" Scootaloo sat down in her seat and the day begun.
Scootaloo stared at the new kid for a few seconds. Whats his name? Rumble? She turned her head back to the board and focused on learning. Soon lunch came. She grabbed her lunch and started out the door for her friends. Once outside Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom only talked about the new kid. Scootaloo didn't say much about him. Mostly she kept her mouth shut. Lunch came to an end.
"So Scoots what do you think of the new kids?" Said Apple Bloom.
"He's ok... I guess."
The day continued as a normal day. Soon the day ended and it was time to do some crusading.
"So what are we doing today?" Scootaloo asked.
"Ah I can't today," said Apple Bloom.
"Me too," Sweetie Belle said.
Scootaloo sighed. I guess im heading home. She started for home. I GOT IT! She thought I'll can go around ponyville and find something to do! But what is there to do? "Hey Scootaloo!" came a voice. She turned around.
"Oh hey um... Rumble right?"
"Yep!" Rumble said.
"What brings you here?" Said Scootaloo.
"I'm just looking around."
That's right he's new..
"Well I could give A tour I guess," said Scootaloo. "Sure thing, But make it quick I gotta go in a hour or so."
Scootaloo nodded and began there tour. "And that's the library," Scootaloo said. "Thats about everthing in the town.
"Alright cool." said rumble. "Well I gotta go, see ya Scootaloo!"
"Bye... er Rumble!" Scootaloo said as Rumble disappeared.
Within minutes Scootaloo found herself at her front door. Lets hope they don't have a reason to beat or cut me today. She opened the door
"I'm home!" She said.
"Your late," came her farther's voice.
Dammit...
"Scootaloo come help me move this TV out of the basemen!" Her dad yelled.
"Ok dad." She ran down to the basement and helped her dad move the TV.
"Thanks Scootaloo. Now go eat." Her dad said.
"Ok dad."
Scootaloo went to the kitchen made some food and ate. No homework so I guess I can go to bed before he realizes he hasn't beaten more for being late. Scootaloo thought as she ran up stairs to her room. She got to her bed. curled up into a ball and went to bed.
Scootaloo woke up the next day. Oh good... Its the weekend... She thought.
"SCOOTALOO!" Came her Dad's voice.
She gulped "Yes dad?"
"GET DOWN HERE NOW!"
"Ok!"
Oh god what did i do? She thought. Once again she gulped. She took her time getting down the stairs.
"What is it dad?" She asked.
"You failed the test the other day." Her dad said flatly. "And do you know what that means?"
She gazed up at her dad "PLEASE NO! I'M SORRY!"
"Sorry doesn't fix your grade does it?"
"N-n-no"
"Exactly Now... Scootaloo..."
"Y-y-yes?"
Her dad leaned close to scootaloo. "I won't punish you today, but if you fail one more test you and I are going to have a problem. Do you understand?" Her dad whispered.
"Y-y-yes sir!" Scootaloo squeaked.
"Good. Now get out of my sights before I change my mind." Her dad said.
With out the slightest bit of hesitation she ran out the door to the open. Now.. What to do? She glanced up at the sky. Wow its early. She grabbed her scooter and decided to ride around town in search for something to do. Soon she was near Fluttershy's house, and decided she practice some of her tricks. Soon that got boring. Ugh... Maybe I could... no... Well... maybe... I could.... She shook her head to clear her thoughts. I'll just head to town.
Rumble crawled his way out of bed.
"Rumble!" came his brother's voice.
"Yeah Thunderlane?"
"I'm heading out to get food I'll be back in a few."
"Okay!"
Rumble forced his way out of bed and crawled downstairs. His brother long gone by now. Alright so what am i going to do today? He thought. Maybe I could go hang with Scootaloo? She's probably not even awake yet... Rumble went to the door and into the outside. He heard a screech.
"RUMBLE YOU RUINED MY TRICK!"
Rumble turned his gaze towards the voice. It was Scootaloo. "Oh sorry. I was just heading out. Why are you up so early?"
Scootaloo got a nervous look on her face "I...um... I don't know."
"Okay... So wanna hang out?" Rumble asked.
"Sure, Why not?"
Soon Rumble and Scootaloo were doing all sorts of random stuff. Scootaloo doing a few tricks on her scooter, and Rumble mostly avoiding flying, his wings were sore from flying around town the other day. Soon they were at the park where the couldn't get yelled out for doing tricks and disrupting the peace. Today couldn't get better He thought.
Scootaloo looked the sky. "Oh dammit..."
"Is everything okay Scootaloo?" Rumble asked.
"Nope."
"Care to tell?"
Scootaloo hesitated. What should I say? "Well I should have been home awhile ago," she said.
"Oh. Is that bad?" Rumble said.
"If I don't want to get beaten." Scootaloo slapped a hoof over her mouth. Her eyes widen at what she just let slip out of her mouth. She turned toward Rumble. His mouth was ajar.
"B-b-beaten how bad?" Was all he could manage.
Scootaloo pinned the colt to the ground. "Don't tell anyone!" She whispered.
"Why?"
"Do you know what happens to a filly who's parents abused her, and the police find out? You know whats happens right?"
"The filly doesn't get abused anymore?"
Scootaloo faced hoofed. "That and I have to go the adoption center."
"So?" Rumbled said.
"The nearest adoption center is in Manhattan." Scootaloo said flatly.
It clicked to rumble, she didn't want to leave ponyville. "You have to do something Scootaloo!"
"Not yet.. Now promise me you won't tell anyone!" Scootaloo said.
"B-b-but"
"PROMISE ME!" Scootaloo snapped.
"I-I-I Promise...."
"Good" Scootaloo crawled off him. "Now I gotta go.."
"G-g-goodbye Scoots," Rumble managed.
Scootaloo approached him. "Don't worry," She whispered "I'll be fine."
"I hope."
"Goodbye Rumble." With that Scootaloo grabbed her scooter and left Please don't tell anyone Rumble... She thought.
Rumble walked home, his face clearly showing fear and concern. He opened the door to his house and was greeted by his brother.
"Hey Rum-," Thunderlane gazed at him for a moment. "Whats wrong?"
"Nothing," Rumble said.
"Something is wrong."
"I said nothing!" Rumble walked into his room. One way or anther Scootaloo needs to get away from her parents... He thought.
"RUMBLE DINNER IS READY!" His brother screamed.
"I'm coming."
Scootaloo was squirming on the floor fighting to get up. Only to get shoved back down.
"I hope I taught you a lesson."
"Yes D-d-dad." Scootaloo squeaked.
"Good now go to bed."
Scootaloo nodded and crawled her way to her room. She got to her bed eventually and curled in to her usually ball. Only 8 more years... She thought. 8 more years.... She slowly closed her eyes and went to sleep.
Scootaloo's eyes opened slowly. Sunday... She thought. She tried to crawl out of bed only to be reminded of the "lesson" she was taught.Ow... How can he hit son hard She thought grabbing her stomach. She let a sigh escape her lips. I'll just have to deal with it
"SCOOTALOO!" Her dad screamed
What the hell did I do this time?!?! "Yes dad?"
"You failed that test friday!" Her dad screamed.
Scootaloo gulped. Oh hell... She glanced at her window I gotta avoid it. Soon she was on her roof. Alright I'll just glide... down... She extended her wings, Don't fail me now... She jumped down. To her surprise her wings slowed her fall. She smiled, Thanks wings. She grabbed her scooter and headed toward the town.
Rumble just finished eat breakfast. Lets see what do today brings today... He thought walking out the door. He got a bad case of daja vu. Scootaloo had to come to a stop in front of him.
"Not again Rumble..." Scootaloo said.
"Sor-" He stopped.
"You okay?" Scootaloo asked.
Rumble couldn't speak. He pointed to the cause of his shock. Scootaloo looked down. She brought her head back up confusion in her eyes.
"You know how I got this, so why are u so shocked?"
Rumble brought his gaze back to her. "Why?"
"Why what?"
"Why do you let him do this do you?"
Scootaloo closed her eyes for a moment. She reopened them and said "what choice do I have?"
"Scootal-" Scootaloo cut him off.
"Just drop it Rumble,Please?
"Fine..."
Scootaloo started to move when rumble stopped her. "What?"
Rumble hesitated. "Wanna hang out, like yesterday?" He asked.
"Sure." Scootaloo stared at him. Why does he look so nervous? Soon they were at the same park as yesterday.
"Rumble?"
"Yeah Scoots?"
Is everything okay?"
Rumble turned his gaze away from Scootaloo. "I'm fine.
Scootaloo put her hoof on Rumbles shoulder "talk to me," she said inching closer to him.
"I said I'm fine."
Scootaloo leaned against him. Causing his checks to turn red. He looked away.
"Please Rumble just talk."
"I guess... I'm just worried..."
"Rumble don't be..."
"Thats not that easy Scootaloo..."
Scootaloo sighed "Your right." There was an awkward silence between the two. Why is he so worried about me? Why won't he face me? So many thoughts trying to solve Rumbles odd behavior Does he...... Naw....
"Well Rumble I gotta go now." Scootaloo said.
"Alright Scootaloo I'll see ya."
After a long day hang out with Rumble since Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were both busy all weekend. She set course for home. I'm so dead... She thought. Soon she found herself at her house.
"Hey squirt."
Scootaloo let out a startled yelp. "Oh, hey Rainbow Dash."
Rainbow Dash was giving her an amused look. "Right, Anyways who's this colt you been hanging with these past two days?"
"Rainbow... were you spying on me!?!?!"
"No I had cloud duty near the park...."
"Oh...." Scootaloo shift her gaze anywhere but Rainbow Dash.
"So who is he?"
"His name his Rumble." Scootaloo said turning her gaze to her door.
"So you like him?"
Scootaloo shift her gaze instantly to Rainbow Dash "WHAT? WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT?!?!"
"Because the second I asked about him you got all nervous and wouldn't look at me."
"So?" Scootaloo said flatly.
"Nevermind Squirt. I gotta run see ya." Rainbow said.
Scootaloo turned her gaze back to the door which was opened... Her dad at the door way looking as mad he could get. "So you thought it would fun to ditch your room, huh?"
She gulped "Sorry."
"Sorry doesn't cut it," he said picking her up and throwing her into the wall.
She want to scream out in pain, but fought against it.
"Now..." He said, "go to your room and your grounded."
She nodded and bolted into her room. Dammit... Why me? she thought. She got into her bed. May dawn bring with it a new day. She thought. She closed her eyes.
Scootaloo shot straight up. Painting heavily and in a cold sweat. These damn dreams.... She glanced at her clock. School in an hour... She thought as she crawled out of bed. She made and ate her breakfast, Grabbed her settle bag, and head out the door. I got twenty minutes to kill. She thought. I'll just ride around town I guess. And with that she went full speed to town.
Scootaloo soon found her near Fluttershy's cottage. Damn, I traveled this far? She thought.
"Hey Scootaloo. Why are you here?" Came a voice from behind
Scootaloo jumped. "Oh, hey Fluttershy." She spoke.
"Why are you here?" Fluttershy repeated.
"Um... I got up early and decided to ride around." Scootaloo said.
"Oh."
"Yeah, anyways I should get going. Bye Fluttershy."
"Good-bye!"
Soon Scootaloo found herself at her school. Twenty minutes... She thought. I guess... I'll just ride around the school for a bit. Soon school was about to start. She stopped at the front of the school house. And today begins. She started to walk into the school when she heard a voice.
"SCOOTALOO."
Scootaloo turned around to be greeted by Sweetie Belle. "Oh Hey Sweetie Belle. Wheres Apple Bloom?"
"She's sick."
"Oh." Scootaloo frowned.
"Hey I'm here." Sweetie Belle spoke angrily.
"I know, but its still sad that Apple Bloom isn't here." Scootaloo spoke softly.
"Yeah, but We'll pull through. Right?"
"Right."
"Alright let's go," Sweetie Belle said, "I wanna talk to you about.... Stuff."
Scootaloo swallowed nervously. Did Rumble tell sweetie? Soon Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle soon found themselves alone.
"Alright Scootaloo."
"Yeah?"
"Whose this colt you been with lately?"
Scootaloo cheeks started to go red. "He's.... Um..... Rumble...."
"So you like him?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"NO!" Scootaloo barked.
"Really, cause your cheeks say otherwise."
Scootaloo turned a brighter shade of red. "I said no."
Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes. "What ever you say Scoots."
"Just leave me alone!" Scootaloo growled.
"Okay okay, Jezz don't get so worked up." Sweetie Belle retorted.
Scootaloo walked to the classroom.
"Hey Scoots." Came Rumble's voice.
Scootaloo sighed. "Hey Rumble."
"Something wrong Scoots?"
"Just my friends being the curious and teasy selfs."
"Okay?" Rumble said.
"Its a long story..." Scootaloo responded.
"I got plenty of time." Rumble said.
"Later."
"Come on Scoots just tell me."
"I said later." Scootaloo growled.
"Okay, okay."
"Well I'm going to class."
"Good idea Scoots."
Scootaloo piled out of the school. Must. Not. Tell. Rumble. Scootaloo thought. She hoped on her Scooter and tore towards the city. Once she felt safe she stopped. That was-
"Nice try!" Rumble said.
"Dammit..."
"Alright Scootaloo talk."
And Scootaloo did. She explained how Sweetie Belle was teasing about her hang out with Rumble. How she was being so curious, And all that.
"Oh." Rumble got a nervous look on his face, "Is that so?"
"Yes..." Scootaloo said.
"Um... I'm sorry?" Rumble turned away from scootaloo.
"No need to be sorry for me Rumble." Scootaloo said moving a little closer to Rumble. Rumble didn't move.
"You okay Rumble?"
"Im fine Scoots." Rumble turned his gaze back to Scootaloo. "You just seemed upset about it."
"I'm not." Protested Scootaloo.
"I know." Rumble said softly; taking a slow step towards Scootaloo. " I guess I just worry to much."
Scootaloo toke a step towards Rumble, "Rumble I will always be fine, well until I'm old and... you know.."
"Yeah I know Scoots."
"Good." Scootaloo said.
Rumble took anther step to Scootaloo. "Just don't make me regret this." Rumble whispered.
"I won't." Scootaloo said.
Scootaloo realized how close Rumble was to her. "I promise."
Rumble got a worried look on his face. His gaze shifted between scootaloo and the floor. After a few moments he gazed back up at scootaloo. He gently nuzzled Scootaloo.
Scootaloo eyes widen in shock. "W-w-what?"
Rumble pulled his away from Scootaloo gaze. "I'm sorry... Scoots... Its just that I-I....I-"
"Rumble..."
"Yes?"
Rumble felt a hoof touch his shoulder. He turned to see Scootaloo.
"It's okay." Scootaloo spoke softly.
"No its not I acted without thinking and I know you won't see me as the same person," Rumble whined.
"Your right. I see you as more." Scootaloo whispered.
"Huh?" Rumble asked.
"I think..." Scootaloo hesitated, "I think more of you."
Rumble was at a lose for words. She likes me? He thought. "Um..."
"Rumble can you please relax," Scootaloo said.
"But I-"
Scootaloo held her hoof in front of Rumbles mouth. "Just relax."
Rumble stared at Scootaloo for a second.
"Scootaloo?"
"Yes, I like you..."
How did she know I was going to ask that.... Rumble thought then it hit him. SHE LIKES ME?!?! Rumble started beaming.
"You can stop it with the goofy smile." Scootaloo said.
"Sorry, I just cant... help it."
Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "I'll be more then glad to fix that."
"That won't be necessary." Rumble said softy.
"Good,so... What now?"
Rumble thought for a moment. I never thought I would get this far, he thought COME ON THINK!
"Well talk about that tomorrow..." Scootaloo said.
"Why not now?"
Scootaloo point her hoof upwards. The sun was starting to set. "I gotta go Rumble, tomorrow we will talk."
"Okay," Rumble said simply. He watched Scootaloo turn into a speck and disappear. Let hope this works...
Scootaloo started for home. Soon Rumble was out of earshot and view. "YES!" She said. She covered her mouth. Lets not let that... happen... again.... She gazed up to see her front door, now.... let's get this over with. She opened the door to her house. "I'm home!"
"Welcome home..." came her dad's voice
He seems happy... "Sorry for being late."
"Its okay."
I like it, She thought. As started to make her dinner, and that night with on without a problem. Everything was perfect, no abuse, no yelling, just piece and quiet. She crawled into her bed. Why can't everyday be like this? She thought as she closed her eyes and fell into peaceful slumber.
Rumble stood there for a few awkward moments. He slowly collected all his thoughts, and started towards home. Then anther question popped into his head. 'What now?' "I don't know." He said. He gazed up towards the sky. "Please, just let this work." Soon he was at his house Please....
Scootaloo awoke by her dad's voice "GET THE HELL UP!" Scootaloo shot up. "Sorry."
"Go get ready for school." Her dad said.
"Yes sir," and with that Scootaloo was getting ready for her day ahead of her. With in 30 minutes she was ready to head to school. She grabbed her scooter, and headed out the door. And let today begin. She thought. Soon the school was her vision. She was greeted by Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom.
"Hey Scoots," they said in unison.
"Hey Sweetie and Apple, we should probably get to class." Scootaloo said.
"Good idea," said sweetie. And they went into the classroom. Lets hope today is good. Scootaloo thought.
"Hey Scoots," came Rumble's voice.
"Rumble we'll have to talk later," Scootaloo said starting to open the door to the classroom.
"Okay...." Rumble said, and with that school started the same stuff just a different day.
Scootaloo started for home. Please be happy dad, she thought as she approached the door. She slowly opened it.
"Im Ho-," She gazed around her living room. Raze blades, Crack, Beer, and so much more. She turned to she her dad, Glaring at her. "Scootaloo." He said his voice low.
"Y-y-yes."
He reached for a blade on the ground. "How dare you."
"What?" Scootaloo said. Then the unexpected happened her dad threw the blade, almost hitting her. She started to panic. Her dad got up from his seat.
"YOUR GONNA PAY!" he screamed starting to run at her. Scootaloo turned and made a break for the door. Her dad caught up to her. She grabbed her scooter and threw at him buying herself some time. RUN! She thought. She broke at to a full run not caring where she went just as long as it was far from her house....
Scootaloo's head shot up, and she started panting heavily. She found herself in the alley where she had fallen asleep in. Then she heard a voice.
"Scootaloo?"
Scootaloo turned to meet the source of the voice. Her eyes widen in shock. "Rumble..."
"What are you doing here?" Rumble asked.
Scootaloo tackled Rumble "Talk!" Scootaloo said.
"I-I-I.... What?"
"You told someone didn't you!"
"N-n-no..."
Scootaloo glared down at Rumble. She noticed Rumble was get a nervous look and his cheeks were starting to go red. She crawled off him. "Sorry.... Its just... Never mind."
"Scootaloo?"
"Yes?"
"Why are you here."
Scootaloo sighed deeply and then she hesitantly started to explain her situation. Rumble listened with a concerned look in his eyes.
"So that's why your... here....." Rumble said.
"Yeah..." Scootaloo said.
"Maybe we should go to the police?" Rumble asked.
"Rumble..."
"Yes?"
"Remember why I told you not to tell anyone?"
"Yes, but was does that.... Oh..."
"Exactly."
"Then, what are you gonna do scoots?"
Scootaloo gazed to the floor back to Rumble. "I'm going to face him."
Rumble stared in disbelief. "Your insane."
"I guess I am." Scootaloo said.
"Scootaloo you don't have to do this."
"Oh really? What else can I do?" Scootaloo asked.
"Go to the po-"
"Dammit Rumble I said no."
Rumble stood there quietly. He opened his mouth to protest.
"Rumble, no and that's final." Scootaloo said.
"Your gonna die."
Scootaloo started to walk towards Rumble. "Is that so?"
"Well you wouldn't have fled if you can have handled him..."
"Rumble, just let me do what I gotta do."
"At the cost of your life?"
Scootaloo had closed the gap between the her and Rumble. "Yes." She whispered.
"Think Scoots, your gonna die. Is that what you want."
Scootaloo gently nuzzled Rumble. "No, but I have to."
Rumble stood silent. Whether it was because he was try to think of something to say or the fact Scootaloo just nuzzled, She didn't know. Finally he spoke.
"I can't believe you."
"You can't?"
"Why... Just why would you do this...?"
"I'm sorry Rumble, but I am and I don't have to explain." Scootaloo said, and with that she stormed off fast enough that Rumble couldn't stop her. Rumble stood there frantically think. What do I do? Stop Her? No. Go to the police? No. He kept pondering ideas. I could go get Rainbow Dash... Wait that's it! He glance to rainbow's house not to far away. I gotta hurry.
Scootaloo stood at her front door. Unlocked... She pushed the door open. "Alright dad I am done, come and face me."
She heard a laugh, then she saw her dad emerge from the hallway.
"Your brave, but stupid."
"Come and face me!" Scootaloo said getting into a fighting position.
"This won't take long." Her dad said reaching for a blade. Scootaloo saw this and grabbed the nearest thing to thing to defend her, her scooter. Don't fail me now scooter.... Her dad laughed.
"Not long at all." He said then he ran full speed towards.
Rumble soon found himself at the mares house. Painting a little he knocked on the door. Soon Rainbow Dash was at the door. "What the hay are you doing here?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I'll explain latter, right now Scootaloo needs your help."
Rainbow gave a glare at Rumble. "Alright I'll go..."
"FOLLOW ME!" Rumble screamed take towards the sky, full speed towards Scootaloo's house. Don't be too late... Rumble thought.
Scootaloo laid there for what felt like forever. She waited, but the blade never came. Then she heard a voice.
"Please, be ok..." Scootaloo opened her eyes to see Rumble right in front of her. She tried to talk, but was only strong enough to say one word. "Rumble..."
"It's ok Scoots.... I'm here..." Rumble said softly.
Scootaloo wanted to respond, but her world was slowly fading to black. She gazed at Rumble for a few moments, then gave the best smile she could manage. Her world faded into black.
Rumble started to frown. Holding a hoof up to scootaloo's nose to ensure that the young filly still breathing. Good... She's alive... Rumble thought. He turned to Rainbow Dash. Now instead of just Rainbow Dash holding down the stallion there a few more ponies helping. Rainbow stared at Rumble for a second until she said something. It was hard to hear, but it sounded like "Go" Rumble slowly nodded, grabbed scootaloo, and started flying to the hospital. Rainbow watched as they faded into the distance, then turning her attention back on Scootaloo's farther. "Now..." She said, "somepony go get the police..."
Rumble's gaze kept shifting from Scootaloo to the sky. Soon the hospital came to into view. He place a hoof on scootaloo's chest. He felt a faint heart beat. Good... Rumble found himself in front of the hospital. Without the slightest bit of hesitation he entered the hospital. Soon Scootaloo was taken from his hooves and into the ER. Rumble found a seat in the waiting room and sat down. A few mares stared at him, giving him this uncomfortable feeling. In twenty thirty minutes Rainbow Dash entered the hospital and took a seat next to Rumble. And the wait for the good or bad news about Scootaloo continued. Soon a doctor came to meet him. "Your here for Scootaloo, correct?"
Both Rainbow Dash and Rumble nodded.
The doctor hesitated. "We don't know if she'll make it... We just know she's in critical condition and has many cuts and other wounds."
Rumble's heart fell into the pits of his stomach. He let his head hang low. Rainbow Dash looked outside to see that it was getting late.
"Rumble..."
Yes, Rainbow..."
"You should head home, I'll find out about Scootaloo tomorrow..."
Rumble slowly nodded and headed out the door to home. His mind swinging with thoughts... His house came into view with a sigh he entered his house.
Rumble was awaken by his brother. "Come on, Rumble, Its time for school!"
Rumble slowly climbed out of bed and got ready for school. Rumble's brother walked up to him before he was about to leave.
"Rumble..."
"Yes, Thunderlane?"
"What's got you so down?" He asked.
Rumble hesitated for a moment, "I'll have to tell you later." And with that Rumble was out the door, heading towards school. The school slowly came into view. Sweetie Belle meet him at the entrance. "Where's Scootaloo?" She asked.
Rumble once again hesitated. He gazed up at Sweetie Belle, " I don't wanna talk about it." He started to walk into the school when a hoof stopped him. Sweetie Belle was now glaring at him. "Tell.... me..."
"I said I don't wanna talk about it!" Rumble said.
"Rumble, I don't care if 'you don't wanna talk about.'"
Rumble pulled lose from Sweetie Belle's hoof. He started running to the classroom with his ears down. I don't need this today... Rumble thought. And his day continued with plenty of harassment from Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. Soon he was out of school and he started on his corse to the hospital. Rainbow Dash meet him at the entrance.
"How is Scoots?" Rumble asked.
"The doctor says she's doing better and she can have guest."
Rumbles eyes almost instantly perked up.
"Wanna go visit her?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yes!" Rumble said.
Rainbow Dash guided Rumble to her room.
"I gotta go." Rainbow Dash said.
"Okay," and with that Rumble opened the door to Scootaloo's room.
"Scootaloo?" Rumble said.
"Huh? Oh hey Rumble..."
"Hey, Scoots. How ya feeling?"
"I feel okay..."
"SCOOTALOO!" came two voices.
"Hey Apple Bloom, Hey Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo said.
"What happened?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I'll explain later." Scootaloo said.
Sweetie Belle glared at Scootaloo. Scootaloo rolled her eyes, then she shifted her gaze to Rumble.
"I guess... I owe you one." Scootaloo said.
"Don't mention it," Rumble said.
There was an awkward silence. It dragged on more than Rumble like. Apple Bloom broke the silence.
"Me and Sweetie should get going."
Sweetie was about to protest, but closed her mouth and went out the door. Rumble gazed at Scootaloo for a second.
"Scootaloo...."
"Yes..."
"What's wrong?"
Scootaloo started glaring at Rumble, "What do you think?" Scootaloo said dryly.
Rumble started to open his mouth, but then it hit him. She had to leave.... To the adoption center.... In Manhattan...
"Oh..."
Scootaloo gave a longing look. "I don't wanna leave..." She started.
Rumble had no idea what to do... He was about to lose Scootaloo.... She was going to leave.....
"Rumble, can I be alone." Scootaloo asked.
"Yeah..." Rumble said.
Slowly Rumble walked out of the room. Once the door was shut behind him something forced him to the ground.
"Tell me!" Sweetie Belle barked.
"Dammit Sweetie Belle, I said no!" Rumble spat back.
"If you insist," Sweetie Belle said pushing Rumble harder to the ground.
"Sweetie Belle, I don't wanna risk hurting you, but if you don't get off me..."
"What the hell is going on here?" Came Rainbow's voice.
Sweetie Belle got of Rumble. "Tell why Scootaloo is in the hospital!" She screamed.
"Asked Scoots," Rainbow said flatly.
"She won't tell me!" Sweetie shot back.
"Then guess who's not finding out?"
Sweetie Belle glared at Rainbow Dash for a few moments, before leaving. Rainbow watched the figure disappear around the corner. The she started into Scootaloo's room.
"Rainbow... She wants to be alone," Rumble said.
"Why...?" Rainbow asked.
"She's upset."
"I know."
"Not about her dad..." Rumble said.
"Oh really? Care to share?" Rainbow asked
Rumble looked at the ground and said, "She has to move to Manhattan."
"How come?"
"Because she has to go to an adoption center." Rumble felt like he was gonna cry.
"I can fix that." Rainbow said.
"How?" Rumble asked confused.
"You'll see." Rainbow said and with that she was gone. To do what ever she was going to do. Rumble sat there for a few minutes confused before sighing and going back to wait for Scootaloo's moment to be over.
Alright I finished the sequel and I decided. To um.... Combine both action and Shipping... It will be mostly shipping.

Scootaloo's farther brought the blade down on Scootaloo. She easily dodged the blade. "Nice try," she said swinging her scooter at her dad. Her dad took the blow and only struggled a little. "Now then," He spoke "Its my turn." Suddenly his hoof made contact with scootaloo knocking her down. Her dad brought the blade down once again. Scootaloo used her scooter to shield her. The blade went through the wood easily. Scootaloo felt a tug. It's stuck! She quickly jerked the scooter to the side. Her farther, not letting go of the knife, fell with it. Scootaloo took the scooter and threw it the opposite direction. Her farther let go of the blade. YES! Scootaloo thought. She got so caught up in the thought. That she hadn't notice her farther get up.
"Now, now, now," Her farther said, "Lets not get are hopes up."
"Bring it!" Scootaloo said.
And with that Scootaloo's dad reached for something. Scootaloo's eyes widened. It was either a large blade or a small sword. Her dad got a cocky grin. "Now then, Lets continue.
Rumble was flying rapidly, Rainbow Dash right next to him. "Care to tell me whats going on?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Scootaloo is fighting with her dad."
"So?"
"With blades."
Rainbow's eyes widened. "W-w-what?"
"No time to explain! We need to save Scootaloo!" Rumble shouted.
"Right!" Rainbow shouted back.
And with that Rainbow Dash took the lead. Don't be too late... Was all Rumble could think at this point.
"Hurry up, Rumble!"
"Sorry Rainbow!" Rumble began to pick up his speed and followed in rainbow's wake
Scootaloo dodged the blade continuously. Backing closer to her front door. She was against her front door dodging each swing of the blade. Making odd cuts in the door. Dodging one more swing her dad kicked her at the door. It gave away. The door shattered as she was shoved through it. She got up only to have a hoof hit her mouth. Nearby ponies all watched in shock as the scene unfolded. Her dad gazed at Scootaloo as she struggled to get up to her feet. Once she was up he hit her in the stomach. She let out a cough, blood came with it. Scootaloo's vision began to blur as she fell back down.
"Now, let's finish this." Her dad said.
Scootaloo looked around ponies running towards, but not close enough to make it. Her dad pulled the blade up behind his back. He smiled an insane smile, then he said it, "Good-bye!"
Scootaloo closed her eyes. Waiting for the blade to kill her.
Scootaloo's house came into vision. Rumble watched as Scootaloo laid on the ground. Her dad about to bring the blade down on her. Rainbow Dash was going as fast as she could. To either take the blow for Scootaloo, or prevent it all together. Rumble gazed in fear. Picking up his speed he head to land near Scootaloo. Don't be too late!
Rumble started to get ready for bed. Scootaloo was in a bad mood all day. No matter how hard he tried to comfort her, Scootaloo's bad attitude stayed. She wasn't gonna die, so that made Rumbles day, possibly. Once he was done with all of his night chores and what not, he curled up into a ball and fell asleep hoping that tomorrow would be better.
Rumble woke up the next to day to "WAKE UP, YOU SHIT!" by his brother. Slowly he got ready for school. It wasn't hard to see that he didn't want to go, but what choice did he have? He got of his house and started for school to get today done and over with. Soon he approached the school house, and of course Sweetie Belle was waiting for him.
"Tell me, dammit," She said as Rumble passed her.
"What part of 'no' do you not understand?" Rumble spat.
"She's my friend and I want to know," Sweetie Belle shot back.
I don't have time for this, Rumble thought. "Well, in that case I'll tell you everything," Rumble said sarcastically.
"Ugh, fine Rumble, Jezz!" Sweetie said bitterly.
"Thank you!" And with that Rumble went into the school house and stopped in front of the classroom. Why was I so rude.... The day dragged on. All Rumble wanted to do is go to the hospital and go see Scootaloo.
Soon the school let out and Rumble sat towards the hospital. Which he eventually got to. It took him a few minutes, but soon he was in front of Scootaloo's door. Rainbow walked out with a small smile on her face. "Oh hey Rainbow," Rumble said.
"Huh, Oh hey Rumble," Rainbow said, "can't talk I got stuff n' what not to attend to."
"Okay." Rumble said.
"Bye!" and with that Rainbow bolted out of sight. She sure is in a rush. He thought opening the door to Scootaloo's room.
"Hey Scoots," Rumble said.
Scootaloo seemed deep in thought, which clearly he broke. She flinched, the she looked toward Rumble, "Oh hey Rumble!"
Scootaloo said happily.
"You seem over joy," Rumble said, "Care to share."
"I gotta skip school," Scootaloo teased.
"Funny," Rumble said bitterly.
"Hey, cheer up," Scootaloo said.
"Yeah right," Rumble responded.
"I can get out this bed, and make you cheer up," Scootaloo said.
"That won't be necessary," Rumble said, giving a small smile.
"Good," Scootaloo said, returning the smile.
Soon Rumble and Scootaloo we're talking the day away. "Um.. Rumble?"
"Yeah."
"I think you should head home," Scootaloo said softy, pointing toward the window.
"Your right," Rumble said heading towards the door, "I'll See you!"
"Bye Rumble!"
Soon Rumble was at his door. I wonder why she was so.... happy.... He thought as he opened his door deep in thought. Soon sleep was coming over him. Slowly he made his way to bed. As long as she's happy, I guess. Rumble thought trying to close this case. Slowly he's eyes began to close. As long as she is happy... And in what felt like forever he went to sleep with no worries, a small smile on his face as he slipped into his dream.
