Chapter-1
My Story starts
I sat at my favorite cafe in my small home town sipping tea in the hot summer weather. I was taking a slow trip down Nostalgia Lane with one of my Favorite books The Animorphs, every day was boring and dull where I lived. I took another sip of the tea and looked up from my book and started daydreaming, one of the worlds best pastimes that most seem to believe as counter productive.
I sat and daydreamed of my favorite show My little Pony: Friendship is magic and the world of Equestria,and how exciting it must be to live there. I sat up as I thought I heard what sounded like the thought speech, I looked around and saw an older looking fellow, he snickered slightly.
“Was that you?!” I ask in bewilderment, he nodded.
“Yes, it was, I believe you know me as The Ellimist” He said with a smile as my jaw dropped and I quickly composed myself, this man was exactly what I was praying for, he was the ‘almost’ god of the Animorphs world.
“I don’t mean to offend but why are you here?” I asked as I sipped my tea.
“Well I’ll give you the condensed version, there some stuff going down and it involves gods and chess so I thought ‘why the hell not’ and I now need a champion to fight for me-”
“Done” I said cutting him off.
He laughed as a smile grew on my face.
“I like your style, so we need to think, here it’s your choice what do you want to be, you can’t be human it’s one of the rules of the game.” he said as I laughed
“What is with you and getting into games Ellimist” I said with a laugh “So I get to choose what I want to be?”
“As well as where you want to go, and I’m just participating I’m not a real god I represent Morpheus The god of dreams, but I got to choose the champion.” I thought for about 1.1 seconds then answered
“Well Ellimist I want to be a Hork-Bajir, have a cloak that hides how I would look, thought speech, soul magic and trousers that will always fit, and I want to go to Equestria”
“Would you like fries with that?” he said with a laugh
“Yes!” I said taking his joke seriously, as we shared a laugh
“Welp one ticket to Equestria coming right up.” he said, then with a snap of his fingers everything faded to black.
Now before I continue, I should tell you who I am, My name is Jack, Jack Harkness, yes like from Doctor Who, and it’s only but a coincidence that I’ve died three times... Yes the Doctors name was Rose... Ok back on track, the reason I died and the reason I accepted the offer is because I have Cancer, in almost every part of my body, the only reason I was allowed out of the hospital is because the Doctors assured me that there was nothing they could do, and that I had about a year to live. One year. So I went to live everyday like it was my last, I believe the phrase is “Livin’ like Larry”? So now I should get back to my story should I? Yeah I should, back to the story now...
I opened my eyes to a night sky, the moon resting high above me. If I would have to guess it was midnight, I felt different. I took a gander at my body and low and behold my wish came true, I was a Hork-Bajir, in the... scales? Eh I’ll figure out the new grammar later .
I looked around me, I was in some sort of meadow with a running brook flowing through it and a single tree standing alone. I looked over to my left and found a satchel and opened it up, all the stuff I asked for was there (minus the magic of course)
` “Heh, a Stachel. The Ellimist clearly know the manliest way to carry your things.” I said without any sarcasm.
I pulled out the trousers and pulled them on making my fashion statement known to the world, if only I had a scarf to match, oh well, I pulled out the cloak and doned it as well as I heard someone or I guess now somepony approaching my position.
I saw a brown stallion walking through the meadow, if I was correct it was Doctor Whooves I walked over to him and, lucky for me he, didn’t run off screaming, good start Jack.
“Hello there.” I said to him a smile (thank god) hidden under my hood (a hork-bajir smile is not very kind looking).
“Ah hello there stranger how may I help you?” he said in a british accent
“Well could you tell me where the nearest town is Mr…..?” I asked so I could use his name without confusion.
“Ah! My name is Time Turner. I’m a Baltimare Clock Mechanic and that happens to be the nearest town as well.” ….... oh this is a TT universe not a DW universe... *sigh* oh well.
“Well My name is Jack Harkness I’m-”
“A Hork-Bajir yes I’m guessing you're the newest peace in the game?”
“But... I thought”
“I took on a real name, I’m still the Doctor, and your named after one of my good friends!” he said giving me a sly smile “And just because I am a Time Lord doesn’t mean I can’t have a day job as well, bits don’t grow on trees you know Mr. Harkness.”
“Just Jack is fine Doc.” I said with a smile as I pull down the hood of the cloak
“Turner please.”
We were making our way to the town of Baltimare. Turner agreed to let me stay at his place there. Over the time I told him of my past how I was a Farm boy till I got cancer in almost every part of my body and was only let out because no matter what the doctors did I was going to die. And he told me of what he knew about the game and how, as well as how he came to being a Clock Mechanic in Baltimore...
“And thats when I learned they needed a clock mechanic so I stayed,moved the TARDIS into the house I was given and lived there ever since.”
“Intriguing I only died three times. Good thing the doctors were able to revive me.”
“Gods you deserve Jack’s name!” he said with a laugh
“Yeah…. so how far away are we from town Turner?
“Not that far, only about another mile or so.” As he said this I got an idea and I smiled very widely as I pulled my hood over my head... then I scooped up the doctor and made a beeline at about 128Kph to the town… This was going to be fun.
So here I am now, ready to take a world of adventure by the horns or I guess in my case. By The Blades.
