Victor looked over the battlefield. Few of his soldiers still stood, many lay dead. The ones who were still alive were either fighting to the last, or being eaten by one or more of the Dragons.
Dragon, to think that our ancestors nearly hunted them to the last. The man who ran defiantly into the face of death, without the protection of power armor or kinetic barriers. Without Plasma, Ion, Laser, or even Lead weapons, and emerged victorious.
Now us, the very pinnacle of human perfection! Defeated by a few million Dragons. Our soldiers number in the tens of billions. We are ten times are strong as we once were when we defeated the Dragons, we are taller. Rather than a lofty six foot, we stand a mighty eight foot six.
Our once many nations, now a United Shield, all looking towards the future. Our Navy, both in Space and Sea. More glorious than even painters of old could dream of! All defeated by Dragon, and that damned book...
Twilight looked through one of her many new books, they were printed and some were even from before the time of the Alicorn Rule, but she did not know this detail as of yet. But she will soon learn.
“The History of the Ancient Ones.. Hmm, SPIKE! Where did this book come from?” Asked Twilight as she nearly threw the book up the stairs.
“Yah! Cool it Twilight! Hmm, I have no clue. It came with the rest right?” Replied Spike as he rubbed his head a held out the book with his arm.
Spkie as grew since we last saw him. He now stands around a good 5 five feet tall (10 hooves if your an asshole..), his back is now don with powerful wings, even Rainbow Dash was impressed with how fast he can fly. His flaws have become some what... Odd. They are smooth and even a little soft. But if if need, they can become sharper and harder than diamonds. Speaking of diamonds, that crush thing with Bes- Rarity? Gone, look at that Royal Wedding picture of him and Belle. Yeah that’s a thing in this.
“Yes it did, but I never ordered this.”
“Half these books you don’t order! They just send you the extra sh-” Spike received a book to the mouth.
“You may be a teenage Dragon, but I will not let you speak like one.”
“Yes Mother.” Mocked Spike as he rubbed his face.
“Back to the book?”
“Yeah, well they might have just sent it to you. You never know, just read it.” No one sent that book... She shouldn’t read it...
