It's funny how it takes a while to dawn on you, exactly what you want to do. Me, I was trying to follow a fillyhood dream of many years on a certain job, and the day I finally got the difference between what my dream would require and what people expected of me in it was also the day I was expelled from the Royal Guard.

I don’t regret it, if that's what you are wondering, and even though it was a bunch of horseapples when it happened, I found my way around the things that happened later. It was quite the crazy ride, too.
