“You really can’t stop, can you?” Fluttershy asked sweetly.
“Just let me go,” Rainbow dash protested in agony. “What the hell did I ever do to you? I’ve been loyal to all you guys.”
Fluttershy grinned evilly and punched Rainbow dash in the face once more. Blood started to come out of her nose as she started tearing up. She laughed at the look of her best friend and started to turn even more evilly. “Do you really want to know?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow Dash nodded her head. “Fine, then let me explain what really happened to make me betray the essence of my element.”
==3 days ago: Day 1; Rainbow Dash’s POV==
Such an awesome day, which it always is. Tomorrow is the day of the pegasus race and I just knew I was going to rank first place, which would’ve made me at least 20% cooler in the eyes of the other ponies. Wait, what’s that knocking in the background?
I opened the door and noticed it’s my best friend Fluttershy. “Uh… Rainbow Dash, do you want to hang out, you know, tomorrow?”
“Sorry Fluttershy, I just can’t,” I explained. “The annual pegasus race is here and I’m going to be entering.”
“Oh…” Fluttershy mumbled silently under her breath. “Then… hopefully you’ll be available the day after.”
“Don’t worry, I will be,” I proudly admitted. Fluttershy then walked away and I closed the door. I then put on my wonderbolt goggles for show and went for a stroll in town. I seen Rarity walking and I decided to strike a conversation with her.
She seemed a little worried about something but I couldn’t place my hoof. I asked her what the problem was and she responded, albeit in a not awesome matter. “Well, Fluttershy is expecting the group over for a visit for the day after tomorrow, and she is expecting ALL of our group to come.
“No sweat,” I replied. “When have I ever let you guys down?”
“That’s true, but have you heard of the recent group, kidnapping ponies?” Rarity asked.
I thought for a second. According to the Ponyville Express there has reports of missing ponies but I thought that was just troubled ponies running away from their fathers or some bullcrap like that, not a mysterious group.
Rarity wished me a nice day and then walked away. I walked around townfor a bit before noticing the statue of Discord cracking up. I went closer to it and suddenly it broke open, exposing the sinister side of Discord within. Discord turned good a while ago, but his personality split up in order to fully exercise the awesomeness of Discord’s good ability. This Discord was pure evil.
“Ha, finally, I’m free from this stone prison,” Discord exclaimed.
“I won’t you let you go too far,” I yelled. “By the power of friendship, I will send you back.”
“Aren’t you tired of living this way,” Discord expressed. “Why don’t you join the illumarenati?”
I thought about it for a moment, but then disagreed on the spot. “I am loyal to princess Celestia and that’s it, not some crazy conspiracy group.”
I seen him grin and chuckle, but slowly his hand was reaching towards me. I tried running but he just froze me still and touched me. It didn’t really feel bad and suddenly I felt the urge to join the illumarenati after he touched me.
Discord told me their mission statement: to control the government of Equestria and see events fit to our vision. The other members have already successfully taken over some of the other parts of Equestria and are now masquerading as the mayors. My first job, as told by him, was to capture unsuspecting ponies and reveal information about the other ponies of Equestria.
I slowly agreed and then suddenly I seen the Discord become a stone statue on the pedestal like nothing ever happened. It was still only 12:00am today which meant I had tons of time to capture my victims and reveal as much gossip as possible.
I seen a couple over by the distance and smiled deviously. I walked over to them and they started talking to me, not knowing about the conversation that happened earlier. "Hey, are you the awesome Rainbow Dash!?" the male pony in the group asked.
"Indeed I am," I proudly admitted. "I'm the fastest mare in all of Equestria."
I seen the couple grow interested in my boasting, which was exactly what I wanted them to do. "Could you show us an example of your talent?"
I laughed silently to myself. "Of course I can. Follow me to the outside of my cloud condo, and I'll show you an example of my talent."
They nodded and I started leading them on. My stomach felt like it had butterflies in it but I thought it was nothing. We eventually made it to the outside of my house where I set up two chairs. I told them to sit in the chairs and they did so. They tried getting up but they were stuck. I laughed and then proceeded to ask them a couple of questions.
I pretended this situation was like a police investigation, so I called over another one of the illumarenati to play the role of the bad cop, even though we were just trying to get information. I'll call her Hihope.
"What do you know about the Mayor Mare," I yelled while staring into the female of the couples eye. "I mean, do you have anything of interest to say?"
"Well..." the male stuttered. "We had her over for dinner at one point."
Hihope smiled and punched the male in the face with her hooves, apparently not liking the information. "How about you tell us something more meaningful, like your name."
"My name is... Rosen," the woman revealed. "And my boyfriend's name is Jupitar."
That name, Jupitar. It sounded vaguely familiar for some reason, but I snubbed it off. I then decided to ask them another question. Hihope cleared her throat for a second and proceeded to ask something. "What about the recent sightings of another group."
"You mean-" Mary quipped but then interrupted herself. "I mean no, I don't know what you're talking about."
I banged my hoof against the wall of my house, and realized just how bad I am at being a part of this group. I decided to call it a day and send them back, but first erasing all their memories using Hihope's magic. Hihope then teleported away from me and I was left to be bored alone.
