‘You never know what you have...’

I leaned into the scanner set at the door of my house, prompting it to flash into my right eye. Immediately after did I blink, pushing the now unlocked door and walking into the dark depths of the semi treehouse library. “I’m home!”

‘Until you lose it...

Turning on the lights, I disposed of my scientific coat and sighed, looking into the main part of the house that once held a myriad of books. Yet something was missing.

‘I never saw it coming....’

Alone for once, nor Spike to be with me. I called out again, the single name of the giant who once occupied my house.

‘‘Made, not born,’ he always said. Used as a tool, he was. He lost his friends: Torres, Mac, and Becker.’

In complete silence, making my way deeper into my living room, I picked up a holopad, clicking on the last entry log.

‘He just said that he needed to find himself once more. I couldn’t stop him from that, but I was still worried.’

‘My name is Twilight Sparkle... and this is the Path of Atlas...’
