as soon as the sun rose Josh woke up, it had been a rough night for him, especially since he dreamed that he would be the loneliest person in the universe. when he got up and stretched he felt like taking a walk... North. Along the walk he saw a frog and a plump-looking butterfly with a round stomach and large blue eyes.

"okay, now that is just weird."

He hurried his pace to a jog to get away from that creepy... thing, but the only other thing that he was hurrying for is the feeling that something else was out there that he couldn't wait to meet. All the excitement made him hurry up to a full sprint he was very near the edge of the forest to a grassy field, he just about shot out of the forest as fast as his rocket. The light in the field blinded him for a few seconds, mainly because he was so used to the dark, cold forest.

"Whoa"

everything seemed almost exactly like Earth except he KNEW it wouldn't be his home... His theories were proved when a small-ish pink haired animal with... pink skin appeared next to him and said

"you're not from here are you?" and then very quickly after it said "I don't even know WHAT you are *giggle*"

for a few moments it seemed almost impossible for a... pony to be talking much less be PINK. Before he could even answer the pink-pony, it shot off in a colorful dash toward his right.

"What in God's name WAS that thing?!"

after he recovered from his shock he decided he was going to chase after that thing and find out what the hell it was, sure it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but it's better than waiting around for nobody to come help and eventually dieing a boring death. When he finally got to where the hoofprints stopped it happened to be at a small city, luckily there wasn't anybody there,

"I wonder where everyone is." he said to himself.

He swiftly and sneakily walked into town to find what appeared to be the town hall. When he arrived, since the shyness he had when he was young took over, he decided to climb the walls of the building and peered in through the top window. Looking through the glass, josh was surprised to see dozens of ponies of different colors and manes of strange varieties, ad they were all staring up at the stage to where a tan pony with a gray mane was speaking about something called a 'summer sun celebration' and then a light led up to a dark unicorn crossed with a pegasus, which he couldn't remember the name of... Alicorn.

"Why does this feel so familiar, it's as if I've seen this place and all these ponies before, if only I could remember... ow"

all the thinking was making his head hurt, he then realized that he was losing his balance and fell off the building onto the ground with part of the roofing causing a loud thud
