Jurassic Park Ponified

Twilight and Fluttershy reached the T-Rex paddock and screeched to a halt. What they saw was more terrifying than they could imagine. The fence was down, one explorer car was missing, the other was damaged, and the nearby shelter was completely demolished. Worst of all, their friends were no where to be found.

"Oh my gosh! Where is everypony?!"
Twilight lit up her horn to get a better view of the scene. She aimed the beam around the paddock searching for the other ponies.

"Applejack!" shouted Twilight. "Rarity!!" "Can anypony hear me!!"

"Rainbow Dash!!" called Fluttershy. "Girls!!!"
Fluttershy's hoof stepped on something. She looked down and went white with shock.

"Twilight. C...c..come look."
Twilight hurried over to Fluttershy. She covered her nose at the sight.

"That looks like Daisy." Twi murmured under her nose. "Or what's left of her."
The T-Rex roared in the distance. Twilight aimed her horn light at the trees searching for it.

"Is it ahead of us?" Fluttershy whispered.

"It could be anywhere. With the fences down, that animal can trample in and out of any paddock it likes."
Fluttershy heard a moan.

"Listen."

"What?"
Fluttershy hushed Twilight. The could hear a faint voice.

"Twilight. Fluttershy."

"Pinkie Pie!?"

"Over here."
The girls rushed to where Pinkie was lying on the ground.

"Pinkie! Are you okay?"

"Remind me to thank Uncle Orange for a wonderful weekend."
Twilight pulled away the pieces of the outhouse covering Pinkie. Her one leg was badly broken, and covered in dried up blood. Twilight couldn't comprehend how Pinkie was able to stay somewhat optimistic with this bad an injury. They heard the T-Rex roar again.

"Could we chance moving her?" asked Fluttershy.
Pinkie looked up sarcastically.

"Please, chance it."

Twilight and Fluttershy moved Pinkie into the rear seat of the jeep, laying her down so she was comfortable. Twilight wrapped up Pinkie's leg in a tourniquet.

"That should hold the bone for a while. We'll cast it up when we get back."

"Okey Dokey Lokie!"
Fluttershy was still scouring the wreckage looking for sign of the others.

"By the way?" asked Twilight. "What happened?"

"Well...the power went off and the cars stopped moving, and we were waiting patiently for it to come on, then these rumbles started happening, and would you know it, Rexy broke out of its pen, flipped over the Cutie Mark Crusaders' car, and we all got out to save them, and I got Rexy to chase me over here where she pushed me into the shelter, had a nice Daisy dinner, and that's pretty much it."

"What happened to the others?"

"How would I know? I was knocked out after that."
Twilight rolled her eyes with the 'typical Pinkie' look. Fluttershy still searched.

"Fluttershy! Come on!" Twilight called.
As she searched the wreckage Fluttershy noticed pattern between the dinosaurs tracks, and the skid marks in the mud obviously from the explorer. Then her hoof met something, Not metal or plastic, but fabric. She looked down finding Applejack's stetson hat squashed in the mud.

"Twilight!"
Twilight galloped over to Flutters.

"Applejack's hat!"

"Look."
Fluttershy pointed at the tracks and marks in the mud.

"Look at this pattern. The dinosaur tracks, and the skid marks."
Twilight analyzed the pattern.

"By the looks of those marks in the road, its almost as if the T-Rex was pushing the car."

"My thoughts exactly." said Fluttershy. She went over the pattern again. "It looks as though she was pushing the car this way and over the side of..."
Fluttershy bolted toward the edge of the the massive concrete cliff and peered over it. Twilight lit up her horn and aimed the light down to the trees below. The shape of a wrecked vehicle showed in the light.

"The other car!" Twilight screamed.
The two mares made there way down to bottom of the cliff where the remains of the tour car lay on the side of a tree.

"AJ? Rarity? Dashie?"
Twilight shined her horn into the car, but there was nothing.

"They're not here."

"Look." Twilight whispered as she aimed her horn at the ground. There were hoof prints in the mud, a filly and a mare. Their friends were alive, but were lost in the jungle of Jurassic Park.

Up in the jeep, Pinkie Pie was by herself clopping her hooves and singing a little song.

"Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark. All the dinosaurs are running wild. Somepony let T-Rex of of his cage. I am sure that they will eat me, cuz they have a taste for ponies, and they see me as their dinner not their friend..."
An all too familiar rumble interrupted her song. Pinkie looked down at a puddle of water next to the jeep. The water inside was vibrating with the rumbles.

"Oh no."
The rumbles got louder, and Pinkie started to get scared.

"My...knee's getting pinchy again...And there are impact tremors all around me. Getting fairly alarmed now."
Pinkie flailed her hooves at Twilight and Fluttershy who were running back to the jeep.

"Come on, Come on! We gotta get out of here! Now! Now! Right Now!!!"
The two jumped in the jeep with Twilight at the wheel.

"Hurry!"
Twilight started the jeep, shifted it into gear, and floored the gas pedal with her hoof. Just in time as the T-Rex came crashing through the trees. The ponies sped down the road away from the giant predator. Twilight shifted into a higher gear.

"Must go faster." said Pinkie.
And they really had to go faster, as the T-Rex was running after them.

"Faster Twilight!! Faster!! It's gaining on us!!" Fluttershy screamed.
Twilight shifted into higher gear to increase speed.

"Fourth gear Twilight!" Pinkie shrieked.
Twilight looked in the side view mirror to see a T-Rex with open jaws coming right behind them. Pinkie leaning forward from the rear of the jeep unknowingly pushed against the shift lever causing the jeep to slow down.

"Pinkie! You're on the stick! Get off the stick!"
Fluttershy looked up. They were driving straight towards a huge fallen tree.

"LOOK OUT!!!!"

"DOWN!!!!!"
The jeep drove under the tree smashing the windshield, while the dinosaur plowed right through it. Gaining on the jeep the dinosaur smashed its head against it almost knocking it over. Fluttershy looked back and screamed. Twilight shifted into a higher gear and floored the gas pedal. The T-Rex ran as fast as it could after the jeep, then suddenly stopped running. It was out of breath. The ponies all looked at each other surprised and relieved. They were extremely lucky to have outrun a Tyrannosaurus.

"That was truly terrifying." Fluttershy panted.

"They should have that on the tour!" said Pinkie Pie.
The jeep sped away into the night leaving the exhausted T-Rex behind.
