Introduction

"We were fools with ambitions to see how far we could go with our own designs. Our freedom, our love, our harmony paved way for many new things we know now in technology. A long time ago in Equestria, magic was said to flow everywhere, being in every aspect of our life, and control everything we did.

And we, a small group friends working together found a way to harness it to its full power for our own endeavors in the Canterlot Magical Power Plant. But little did we know that we would all pay a heavy price for playing with forces we thought we could control. For one day when the CMPP started to fail, and nopony was able to stop it, it released an immense blast of radiated magic that devoured Equestria in absolute darkness & lit it in one big bonfire.

When the smoke & rubble were finally cleared, survivors of the blast found their new home radiated, dead, and extremely unstable, making them flee far from it to the far off islands where they set up blockades to stop any travelers from ship from getting into Equestria, alienating it from the rest of the world. But those who stayed in the ashes of their old world they found something. Something of great importance that wiped away the ashes, and gave them renewal of hope & despair.

It was a gift for all ponykind to enjoy, it was the enemy for the survivors of the blast, it was an opportunity for those looking to start again in profits, and it was a holy fixation to those who worshiped it.

It was an Artifact. A collection of strong radiated magic combined into a single physical force that could change the world, and it was the eye of all ponies going back to Equestria facing the deep dark past of our tremendous disaster chasing after it."
