Talim was a girl of faith.

She had her whole life, as well as an impressive journey, in front of her. With her wind as a graceful ally, it seemed like all Talim could do was to keep going. Peace must be out there somewhere, and she's going to try and put an end to those ghastly surges that tended to overcome her very being once and for all.

But then the wind showed itself no longer.

Portals began to open up in her world, everywhere it seemed. There are rumors that only the most talented, skilled, and heroic warriors who are worthy enough can go through, and that the other side bears untold treasures. Only a few have managed to actually faze through it.

Upon investigating, Talim and her old friend, Seong Mi-na, as well as the slithery con-artist, Dampierre, unwittingly fall through the portal into a brand new world.

The wind in this new land is crying, and beckoning for help. Talim, and her companions must work together to keep Soul Edge, as well as a few unwelcomed and troubled warriors, from destroying now only this new world, but everything in its entirety.
