Aliens Vs. Predator: New Blood
The Hivemind
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe hive. A place that the serpents called home. And sitting on the egg sack of the serpents, none other than Queen Chrysalis herself. As she sat there, one by one, a slimy egg came out of the sack and one of her workers took it to an empty spot in the hive.
My children. For too long the creatures of this world have rejected and feared us, as they should, for we are their superiors. Soon we’ll have Equestria at our claws. She said in the language of her kind.
My queen. We’ve got a new one. Came from one of those ponies. One of her warriors said to her. Chrysalis was intrigued by this new development and asked they brought in the new family member. As soon as she saw it the serpent queen knew this one would be very useful as a drone.
M-my queen. I-it is finally nice to meet you. The serpent pony stuttered.
What is wrong child? She asked him.
Just a little n-nervous my queen. He replied.
There’s nothing to be nervous about… unless you think me weak. Do you think I am a weak queen? She asked very sternly and caused the serpent pony to start backing away.
S-sorry my queen. I p-promise I’ll try my hardest. He said boldly.
I hope so. Now follow my warrior. He’ll take you to your station. She said as she stared at an armored serpent. He did as she ordered and began to follow the warrior. The black creature bowed and left with her warrior following behind it. Soon after though The Abomination walked in and started to walk up to Chrysalis.
My dear daughter how big you’ve grown since you hatched out of your mother’s chest. The Abomination said in a cheery voice.
Thank you mother. As you can see, my…. our hive is growing rapidly. Soon we’ll have enough serpents to take the surface world. Queen Chrysalis hissed happily.
I’m glad to hear that. But one question still eludes me…. why did you spare that slayer? She asked her daughter.
She wasn’t worthy prey. With a swing of my tail she would’ve been dead. Chrysalis exclaimed. With those words, the Abomination lightly growled making the serpents stop what they were doing and slowly back away.
And yet she still breathes. I thought that I told you that under no circumstances will you spare ANY SLAYER! WE ARE TO KILL THEM YOU INSECT! The Abomination roared at her daughter causing her to growl back as they stared each other down.
WELL SORRY MOTHER! I GUESS I FORGOT! Chrysalis roared back making her mother step back.
I will leave you now. But I must imply that those slayers. Must. Die. The Abomination hissed as she leaped out of the room. Then as the beast left, the serpents came back into their working stations.
WARRIOR! She yelled bringing one of her elite guards into her room.
Yes.. my queen? He asked.
Bring in…. Rhino. She ordered making him swallow a lump in his throat. The warrior left to do as his queen commanded and arrived at a large organic cage. Inside was one of the biggest serpents to have ever lived. A massive serpent clad in black skin thick enough to handle a blast from a slayer’s cannon and built to be nigh invincible. Swinging from his rear was a massive tail with a blade thick enough to slice through solid steel.
What does my queen demand of me? The Rhino demanded of the pathetic warrior in front of it’s cage in a booming voice.
She wishes to see you. He replied as he climbed to the top of the cage. The warrior then raised the door and allowed the Rhino to walk out. With every step he took, the ground shook with the force of his step. Rhino walked into the queens chamber and stared at her.
My queen. What is it you ask of me? He asked her.
Rhino, I’m allowing you to have some fun. A group of ponies is on a slayer ship. I want you to…. have some fun with them. By now they will have located a possible exit. Be sure to utterly destroy the orange one so that none may recognize her except for her mark. She ordered her living tank. He simply nodded before charging through the wall of her hive and bellowing.
I’ll need a few free drones to fix that. She thought as she groaned. She turned back towards a warrior. How are my eggs? Are they ready? Chrysalis demanded of it. The warrior nodded and helped to bring in some that were about to hatch.
Excellent. Now check up on the drones. They’ll need someone to watch them. She ordered. He nodded before bolting to a hidden part of the hive where the drones were watching over a large clutch of eggs.
What is it warrior? One of the drones asked.
Our queen told me to keep my sight on you. How are these eggs doing? He asked.
Excellent. I heard Rhino charged his way out of here. The drone said making the warrior chuckle.
Yes. You go help the other drones fix up the wall while I’ll keep guard here. The warrior replied and turned back towards the eggs. The first of which bared a living facehugger much to the excitement of everyone in the hive but it barely made it past it’s egg before it died. Chrysalis merely snorted.
Another weak child. Take it out of my sight drones. She ordered. As she finished her sentence, a drone picked up the facehugger and took it away. Then as the drone left, a group of her spitters appeared in front of her.
My queen, we’ve found the ponies. They’re right above us. A spitter said.
Excellent. Send a group of drones to alert Rhino about this development. Chrysalis grinned evilly as she saw the spitter do so. She then looked up and couldn’t help but think that the lavender unicorn that caused her so much trouble in the past will soon be one of her first unicorn egg carriers.

And so we now see how a xenomorph hive really works now. Also this is what a Rhino serpent looks like:
