under progress fanfic.

A young drake stood in the middle of the corpses of dead drakes and dragons, tears running down his face as he hugs his dead mother " mommy! please come back!". A pony sees him and she can feel the tears building up as she sees the dead mother, the pony slowly moves toward the orphan drake trying not to scare the poor thing. The nameless baby drake know she is closing in but he wont leave his mother's side at all costs. "hey there, are you lost?" the mare has a gentle smile and warm eyes behind her glasses. The drake looks away and tries to ignore the mare but it's very hard ignoring the one who gives you a hug right?. While the drake had looked away the mare had given him a  warm comforting hug, unable to resist the hug the drake begin to cry more and more as the reality that he wont see his mother ever again creeps into his mind.

Its been a few years since the great draconic war ended, the pony who's name was Shining Bell gave the name Lightlock to the young drake. "Lightlock! its dinner!" Lightlock can smell the scent of the food and he knows what it is within seconds, "HAYBURGER!!" he runs in trough the door and jumps onto the chair waiting for his adoptive mother to come with the food. "Nownow Lightlock dont be so hasty, you know what happened last time right?" the young drake looks down shamefull before smiling wide "i love you mom!" Shining bell smiles as she trots toward the table holding a plate in her magic, "dont try to change the subject" she give Lightlock his burger as she trots in to the kitchen to make some for herself as the sun sets and the night closes in.

Darkness, darkness was all Lightlock could see as he ran around looking for any source of light, "Mommy? are you here?" a deep and dark laugh fills the air as a blinding figure rises out of the dark ground and at his feet sleeps Shining bell. "MOM!!" Lightlock runs toward her but before he reaches her she dissapear and he finds himself on a far to familiar place, "n-no!" all around him is the dead bodies of his own kin. Lightlock tries to run away from the area but it seems to follow him and no matter what he do its closing in and chaining him to the ground. "STOP IT!!" suddenly all the corpses rises up and begin to move towards him like empty shells. Lightlock strougle to get free but the white chains wont let go, suddenly the blinding figure stands infront of him with a evil grin, suddenly he realises that it looks like an older version of himself. Lightlock almost jumps out of the bed after waking up from the horrible nightmare and he just cant shake off the feeling that the creature in his nightmare was him somehow.

Its been ten years since that horrible night and Lightlock is now sixteen years old or at least its been sixteen years since Shining bell found him and took him under her care, "Lightlock dear theres someone who wants to see you!" Lightlock can hear his mother shout but he ignores her mumbling to himself " i bet its yust another reporter wanting to know all about me" after the years went by Lightlock had grown quite big and the news just didn't wanna leave him alone, "Lightlock get here NOW!" he tries to ignore her once more but decides to let her win, " what is it mother?" as Lightlock enters the room he can clearly see a young white teenager female dragon, theres a deadly silence as the eyes of the two draconic creatures meet and its not love that is in the air.

The air in the house is choking as the two creatures hate collide and before anyone could stop it turns into a brutal fight. Lightlock suddenly wakes up and all he can see is the midnight sky then when he looks down he can clearly see the corpse of a dragon under his claws, "w-what when did i" before he can think anymore he can hear the crackling of fire and almost as pale as a ghost he turns around to see his home his life burn in dark and orange flames. "MOTHER!" he keeps shouting out her name as he moves away burning rocks and wood, what power could have done this? what creature can set fire to stone?. after half an hour of pushing away rocks he can finally see the grey mane of Shining bell and he hastely digs her out of the ruined building, "Mother! MOTHER! please dont leave me!" Shining bell's lifeless body feels light in Lightlocks claws and it feels too cold for being in this heat. its like time itself have stopped he cant even hear the roar of the fire anymore all he can do is feel the cold lifeless body of the second mother in his life, the only one in the entire world he had loved and realy known, dead!.

Its morning and the fire finally stop but Lightlock doesent notice it, he's too busy digging his mother a grave in the midst of the ruins of his once beautyfull home, every rock and every piece of wood have been placed forming a wall around the grave making it a beautyfull and sad scene. On the tombstone the words (Here rest Shining bell loving mother and a dear friend) it was the best he could do to honor her, "Mother im so sorry i dont know even know what happened i could have saved you!" he starts to cry again "Oh shut up you fool, she's dead and you couldnt have saved her anyway" Lightlock jumps up in surprize and looks around but he doesent see any pony or dragon, "look in the lake you fool" he slowly moves toward the lake outside the house and looks down at his reflection and there down in the water stands the white creature from his nightmare all those years ago, "you! who are you and what do you know of what happened here!" the reflection starts laughing like a crazy for a while before calming down " i am you and you are me i am the powers hidden inside you i am the powers of the drake's!" Lightlock stares down at the reflection "powers? then what do you know about my mothers death?" the reflection suddenly looks angry "The fake mother or the real mother you lost all those years ago? if the fake mother then i am happy to tell you we did it! we burned the house we slaughtered the dragon and we killed the pony!".
