I woke up one morning to find a scroll on my pillow, the scroll speaks of a unicorn named Lyra. Lyra was supposedly obsessed with a fairy tale about a race called 'humans'. Her goal was to bring the magic of friendship to the the human race, in order to help rid them of the darkness which falls over their world.

After Twilight Sparkle's attempts to stop her, she accidentally ruined Lyra's spell, sending her to the human world in a body she did not want and without her memories. Now the scroll is telling me that I am Lyra, and I do not belong here.
