VHS - Humble Beginnings

          Some ponies say that they were destined to do what they love from the day they were born. I never believed that sort of thing was possible when I was just a little colt, but ever since I started to notice my developing love for a certain art form, I’ve said that my choice in hobbies is a little more than uncanny. My name is Valiant Starchaser – I secretly love the name, but I’m perfectly content letting everyone call me “VHS.” Before I start blathering on about my past, though, let me tell you guys about the pony I am today. If you hadn’t guessed so by now, I’m a film buff. I apologize for that understatement; here’s a better way to put it: I live and breathe movies. I love everything about them. Most of all, however, I love critiquing them. Ripping the decidedly awful specimens to figurative shreds is my self-appointed cup of cider. I definitely have other pastimes, though – comic books, music, writing, video games … yeah, I’ll admit it, I’m a pretty nerdy guy. But hey, I’m not the only one like that around here, right? Right?
