First casualty

The sound of the raging sea slamming against the jagged and rocky coasts could be heard over the gasping colt. Along the cost a colt could be seen sprinting underneath the cloudy moonlight night. His silver and blue mane set him apart from the dull and colorless ground. The vapor from his breath trailing behind him in the cold wintery night. Eyes were wide with fear at what he had just witnessed.

“I must get word to the princesses!” He breathed out breathlessly as the toll of sprinting began to show in the earth ponies voice. His determination to relay the event he saw take place blinded him as a shadow was gaining on him with in-pony speed.

“Must....get....word...” the colt began to slow his heart pounding in his chest rapidly as his vision blurred , he knew he was pushing himself hard but why was he suddenly so exhausted? As his eyes were narrowing his heart nearly exploded with fear as the last sight he saw was the shadowy outline of a very large pony, one with a sinister grin of pure evil that shone in the moonlight.

“Please I don’t want to d...” the colt squeaked out as he fell to the ground. A slight chuckle could be heard as the shadow made his way to the passed out colt.

Standing above him slowly lowering his hoof to touch against the head of the colt he leaned down and whispered, “Shh it’s OK....its far to late for any pony to be awake....just go to sleep. ”

For a second the smile on the shadowy figures face seemed genuine and comforting. Just then the clouds passed the full light of the moon illuminating his face, his eyes a dull grey glowed becoming pitch a dark violet as his hoof was wrapped in a likewise color aura , a sickening snap and crunch sounded as he waved his hoof afterwards.

Starting to slowly walk away he could not help but let out a sickening chuckle, “You will all sleep !” The chuckle turning into a full on laugh as loud as a manticores howl as in the distance several large ships could be seen sailing towards the coast.

Hey there everyone! The names Joystuck! Imnew to the Fimfic community. This is the first time I've decided to share my current writings with others. Normally I just write random thoughts and plots down and leave them to clog space on my computer but for some reason after reading so many other talented bronies out there its driven me to step up and share my work as well. I suppose I should start here by saying you'l start to notice , if not already, im not gifted in the gramar depeartment. I do my best to make sure spelling is fine but I might miss some of the more nazi-ish rules out there. So please try and not stab me with pitchforks to much or sign the papers to send me to the gramar nazi work camps quite yet. Im always looking for advice and any criticism is good criticism, even the ones that arent good. Welp I suppose thats all thats left to say , I'll be trying my best to update this as fast as possible , I may wait till I have several chapters done before publishing them on here. Wish me luck!
