[humanized] [Clop] Octavia faces an awkward situation with her pianist co-worker, Frederick. When he asks her out on a date, the cellist is taken aback both by his sudden demand, and the pianist's fairly recent, and out of nowhere break-up with a former member of their orchestra, the sousaphonist Beatrice Bluenote. Moved by her loyalty to her friend, Octavia decides to talk to Beatrice about Frederick's proposal, hoping to bring the two of them back together.

When she arrives at her friend's apartment, a part of her past will catch up with her in a way she has never thought it would!

One-shot stand-alone, first attempt at clopfic with a decent story line (Well, maybe not that decent, it's still a clop fic after all).
