Chapters When they arrived at Rainbow dashes house, Rainbow dash came flying out.
"Hey, Pinkie! Whose this?"
Pinkie then bounced into rainbow dashes house.
"Shes dawn! Our newest friend! Shes from manehatten."
"Manehatten? Oh my gosh! oh my gosh! The wonderbolts have preformed there like.. 30 times!"
Rainbow dash sprouted out of her cloud chair.
"Dawn said she is not liked there! she doesn't have any friends - Except her family. Sad, Huh?"
Pinkie pie said, And her mane went flat.
"Honestly, I really don't want too think about my past town. I Just want too focus on my future in ponyville." She said as she tugged her star-cape over her flank.
"Hey, Whats your special talent?" Rainbow dash said, Not even caring if it was the slightest bit rude.
Then dawn blushed and frowned for a few minutes, Then said.. "My special talent is being Clueless."
"Clueless?!" Pinkie pie shouted in confusion
"What kind of freaky Special talent is that? What would that cutie mark even be? Blank?" Rainbow dash shouted in a joking way.
Dawn then backed up. And when she backed up, Her hoof got caught in her purple star cape, and it ripped.

Dawn then used a spell too make herself disappear. Dawn did not know where her spell was going too take her, But at least its away from those ponies- They just can't know the truth.
"What the haystack was that!" Rainbow dash shouted, with anger.
"Did you see those... WINGS? Dawn has wings! DAWN, Has wings!" Pinkie pie shouted with cheer, and anger.
"Wings..? But she is a UNICORN. She can't be a alicorn unless she would be wearing a crown, and fancy stuff like that.." Rainbow dash said, Trying too sound like she knew exactly what was going on.
"Well. I saw those wings pretty clearly. I may be very hyper, But i know wings when i see em'!" Pinkie pie then jumped off randomly and disappeared.
After a few days, Rainbow dash begun too get more and more curious of what Dawn was hiding. She even asked Twilight Sparkle if she had a book on the current royalty in Equestria, Of course, Being twilight, She had one. But nothing about Dawn Berry was in it. Then she searched for dawn, All over Ponyville. She found her. Hiding away in a ally, Right outside of the everfree forest.
"What the hay, Dawn? Are we friends, Or not?!"
"Uhm Hi, Dash.." Dawn said trying to pretend to not know what Rainbow Dash was talking about.
"Are we friends or NOT? I happen to know a pony with a brother who is stronger than 3 elephants, And i am not afraid too call her." Rainbow dash said, (Kind of over reacting about Big macintosh, She has a crush on him. But applejack Would NEVER let RD date him, Plus, She is perfectly fine with soarin', Even though he only see's her sometimes, Well, He is a wonderbolt. He is busy being awesome!)
"We are friends! But my personal business is MY PERSONAL business"
Then Rainbow dash ripped off dawn's star cape That was already torn, And exposed her wings. Rainbow dash couldn't believe it. Pinkie pie was not Cracked out on cupcakes again after all! But Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
Dawn flew off. Rainbow dash took off after her.

Dawn Flew as high as she could, She knew her secret was going too be out there for everyone too see, If she did not loose rainbow dash. At this point, She wished she would of stayed in manehatten. But she couldn't handle it. They knew her secret there. They knew she was dfferant. She had no parent like figure.
Then she started too wobble. The next thing she knew she was falling down. She thought this was the end. At least nopony knew her secret, Thats all that mattered. She hit the ground.. And she laid there until she started too become Unconscious.
"Soarin! I think dawn is starting too wake up!"
Said a mare's voice, That sounded like rainbow dashes.. But dawn couldn't tell. Her vision was still blurry.
"Okay, Good thing i just finished cleaning her up."
Said a Stallion. Dawn did not recognize the Stallion's voice.
After 10 Minutes dawn's vision cleared.
"Where am i..?" She asked
"Soarin's house!" Said Rainbow Dash
"Who is soarin?"
"Duh.. A wonderbolt. And my boyfriend. So don't get any ideas" Rainbow dash told her.
"Oh. I wasn't getting any ideas. Well.. What happend too me? Last thing i remember is- Wait.." She looked down, and she noticed that her wings where Exposed.
She then began too start too run away, But rainbow dash stopped her. "You are in no shape too go running off again. Whats the big deal? You have wings, And a horn! that mean's you're probably an alicorn. Thats SO Cool. I don't have any use for a horn, But being a princess probably rocks." Rainbow dash said, While holding onto dawns tail.
"HOW IS ME BEING AN ALICORN, COOL?" Dawn said, And this time she raised her voice at RD, Then Rainbow dash backed up. "Well, You know.. You can use Magic, And you can fly." Rainbow dash said, Shaking because of Dawn yelling with such a powerful impact. "ITS NOT JUST I BEING AN ALICORN. I'M NIGHTMARE MOONS DAUGHT-" Then she stopped, and tried too take off with her wings, But her wings still where damaged from when she crashed the first time.
"Now you know." Dawn said, While she was crying. "Know what? You're nightmare moons daughter. That doesn't make me hate you. You're always gonna be my friend, No matter who you are" Rainbow said, And smiled. "Oh my Luna. I am so sorry about all this trouble i've caused. If i would of known what would happen if you "Knew" about my mother, Non of this would of happened. Please forgive me?" Dawn said, While she was crying. "Oh dawn. Of course i forgive you. We are friends!"
"Okay, Dawn! Time too make sure you're wings are in good shape." Rainbow dash said
She checked Dawn's wings for any rips, tears, or any thing that could keep her from flying correctly.
Her wings where in good shape, But dawn's confidence was very low.
"Dawn, You will learn how too fly. You're talking too the fastest flier in all of equestria!" Rainbow said, Standing proud and tall.
"I Know, dash. But i just don't know. I haven't flied correctly for 13 years. I even completely forgot that i had wings for a while." Dawn said, looking down at the ground. "Let me help you." Then rainbow dash Picked up dawn and flew off slowly. She was not used too flying this slow. But she had too, Unless dawn may panic. She went faster and faster the move comfortable dawn got.
Then dawn started too flap her wings, Then rainbow dash let go, Dawn did not know, And she flew! "Ha! Dawn! You're flying!"
Shouted rainbow dash who was flying above her. Dawn realized Rainbow dash was no longer holding on. Then dawn started too fall. Luckily, Rainbow dash caught her. "Dawn, You can fly now!" Rainbow shouted as soon as Rainbow dash took her back too her home. She got a letter from the Wonderbolts, it was from spitfire. The letter said, "Dear Rainbow Dash, Soarin' has told me too inform you, That he has found someone else. - Spitfire", Rainbow dash then crashed down too the ground in tears. "HOW COULD THIS BE HAPPENING?" She shouted, And then dawn patted her on the back, "I am so sorry rainbow.." Then rainbow dash flew out as fast as light. She did not come back for days. Dawn was starting too get worried. So She went searching for Rainbow dash.
Rainbow Went down too The Carousel Boutique too get some Mane dye, Hair jell, Scissors, And Coat dye.
"Hello, Rainbow, Darling. Why do you need all these Things? Are you going too try a new look?" Rarity said, Coming out of nowhere. "Uhm. No. Its for a friend," Rainbow Dash said, Nervously. "Who?" Rarity said in curiosity.
"FLUTTERSHY" Rainbow dash shouted then flew off before rarity could say anything.
- Back at RD's house -
"Dash.. Are you sure about this?" Dawn asked.
"Positive. They won't be able too tell the difference."
"Done!" Rainbow shouted, "Look in the mirror! Look! LOOK!"
"What the-" Dawn looked in the mirror, And she saw that her mane was Light blue, and white, Her coat was Frosty blue, her hooves where Cyan blue, And she had on a head bow that was light-green, and a scarf, That was the same color. Her eye's where the same color as Rarity's. Her mane was also curly. "I..." Dawn said, She was speechless. Not sure if she liked it, Or not.
"We need a new name for you. Princess Ice frost? Princess Ice Dawn? Pincess-" Dawn then stopped Rainbow from talking
"I THOUGHT WE AGREED WE WOULD NEVER TALK ABOUT "PRINCESSES" AGAIN!" Dawn shouted
"Well. Dawn.. You can't hide who you are for long.. The dye i put in you're mane is permanent. You have too face facts. Your a princess." Rainbow Dash said, She always got scared whenever dawn shouted. Dawn did not shout much, And when she did it sounded Really loud. "I'm sorry.. I don't know where that came from. But i am not a princess.. My mother wasn't called PRINCESS nightmare moon. I may be a alicorn, But i am NOT a princess" Dawn Spread out her wings.
3 Days later
Rainbow Dash knew that dawn was growing, Really fast. She used too be smaller than her, Now she is taller, And her wings and horn are starting too be bigger- More princess-ish. Dawn was wrong, She was a princess. But Rainbow Also knew that there is a spot in her heart that is just like her mothers, And she will do anything too keep it from turning dawn Evil.
Every day, Dawn started too look more and more like a princess, And RD also lied. The dye she put on dawn was not permanent. But the dye started too come off, But the color of her mane underneath the Frosty blue was Not Purple.
If she was named DAWN, Why is she purple? Her new colors where sort of a sunset red, Orange, And Yellow. That sounds more like A pony named Dawn. One day Rainbow woke up, Not only too see someone on her porch..
"Hi.. Princess.."
"Hi, I'm dawn berry." Said a shy, voice coming from down low.
"Huh..?" Pinkie pie said and she looked down at dawn, She looked blurry. Then she looked around her.
"Oopsies! I Fell asleep on the roof, *Giggles* Again!"
Then, Pinkie gasped as she saw dawn for the first time, Un-Blurred,
"OH MY CELESTIA OF EQUESTRIA!" She Laughed at her statement.
"I haven't seen YOU before! Are you NEW?"
Then dawn looked down at the ground, and smiled. "I'm Dawn Berry. But my friends call me dawn. And by friends, I mean my cousins." She laughed, Then sighed and looked at the ground again
"Where are you from?" Pinkie pie said, In her usually really perky, Friendly voice.
"ManeHatten.." Dawn replied. Then she blushed.
"MANEHATTEN? OH MY! WHAT KIND OF PARTIES DO THEY HAVE THERE?" Pinkie shouted.
Dawn then said, Less happy than she was before, "The Part of manehatten i'm from, Nobody smiles, Nobody ever talks too people in a nice way. If you're any differant from the others there .." She paused. And took a deep breathe.
"They make you feel like an outsider. That is why i came to ponyville. Too feel like i fit in somewhere. Somewhere i can be myself."
Pinkie pie was speechless. Her mane went flat.
"Oh! Dawn! You're just gonna love PONYVILLE! We can all be special in our own way, And people still love us! And you got me. As you're New friend! And i got this friend named rainbow dash. Shes the most loyal pony ever! Lets go too her house"
"I am you're friend? I've never had a friend.. I just usually have my family, All my other friends all moved away. I don't see them much."
Pinkie's hair, then went more frizzy than usual "Oh dawn! You're gonna have a AWESOME time here in ponyville. I can't wait too show you around!"
Dawn was ready too tell everyone that she was an alicorn, But she did not want them too treat her any different. She was still Just a pony. Even though she may look like a princess with her wings, She is just like everypony else. She went too the center of ponyville "Hello, Everypony! i am dawn berry, And i am new here in ponyville. And for the longest time, I have been hiding a secret. And today i am going too tell it. You see, In manehatten, Everypony knew my secret. i was mistreated. I was ignored. Nobody liked me. I heard that ponyville is where you can be Whoever you want, Big or small, And everypony will still love you. So today i am here too announce, That i am a alicorn. But i am not just any alicorn- I am nightmare moons daughter."
Then the ponies of ponyville shreaked, and all rushed too there homes, Locked there doors, And windows.
"Did i say something wrong?" Dawn said, Starting too cry.
"Uhm.. I think that you being the daughter of someone as evil as nightmare moon will take some getting used too" Rainbow said. trying too be a good friend. "I really hope so." Dawn replied.
A few days later, Everypony was still hiding. Dawn felt really sad. She just wanted some friends.
At least she had Rainbow dash. But that was basically all she had. Even pinkie pie stopped talking too her. And soarin' is always Out of town. Was this how the rest of her live is gonna be? Will she have too move too the next nearby Town? Rainbow dash would always go into town and get her stuff like, Food, Toilet paper, And stuff that she needed but couldn't buy. Whenever she walked into town, the ponies had the same reaction they had when Zecora first came.
"Will i ever have more than one friend?" Dawn thought too herself.
Rainbow dash walked into her room, "Rise and shine, Dawn! Its time for me to teach you how to fly."
"Ugh. Is that today? I wanted to sleep in today!" Dawn said.
"Dawn! You're half pegasi. You NEED to learn how to fly." Rainbow dash said, dragging her onto her cloud-Porch.
Rainbow dash wasn't acting the same sense she got the letter from spitfire.
She wasn't as kind, She wasn't as cheerful, All she did is Wake up, sleep, Eat. Her and dawn barely talked. Dawn felt like she was alone, She had nobody. With rainbow dash not even talking too her, She was all alone. She stopped going too the stores of ponyville too get Dawn thing's she needed, So dawn was out on her own. She tried too reason with RD, But it was no use.
It was the same, Wake up, Eat, sleep, For the longest time.
Until one day, Dawn came into rainbow dashes room.
Rainbow dash usually just groans, And never smiles, This time, She was doing something different.
She was crying, Very hard. Dawn knew this time it was different. "Whats wrong.. Dash?" Dawn asked, Then Rainbow dash replied, "I Just found out that... Soarin' was..." Then she stopped, and covered her head in her pillow.
"Rainbow, You helped me threw everything. It is my turn too help you with this whole Spitfire and soarin' thing."
Then rainbow dash felt slightly more comfortable, And continued what she was saying. "I just found out that spitfire and soarin' are now.. Together." Dawn then put her hand on her shoulder, Trying too comfort her, But RD Pushed her hand off. "NOTHING can make me feel better. I don't even wanna be in the wonder bolts anymore.. Not as long as that BITCH spitfire is captain."
Rainbow dash shouted in anger, With tears flying from her eyes. "Dash, Its gonna be OK! You have no idea how lonely i am, I am starving. You have been Too busy crying, And whatever it is you do up here, Too get me my stuff i need for food.." Dawn said, This time less comforting than before. "I am sorry dawn. Me and Soarin' Had something special, And then he decides too break up with me, over letter? I am just pissed that that is how it all ends." Rainbow Dash said, Trying her best too apologize too dawn.
"I'm sorry too. I understand how you feel. Loosing someone is hard. I lost my father.. Not from death. He abandoned me." Dawn said, Looking down at the ground, Trying too hold back tears. "I never knew dawn. I'm sorry!" Rainbow shouted, Then dawn patted her on the back, "It's Okay. That was the past! Now we need too let the Ponies of ponyville I am not a demon" She smiled.
There she was, Standing right at the door, Princess Celestia. "Wha-What.." Rainbow Dash said, in a Stunned voice
"Where is she?" The Princess said, Looking directly at Rainbow Dash. "Where is who?" Rainbow Dash Said, Even though she Knew who The Princess' was looking for. "You know who.." Celestia Said, in a Very serious voice. Dawn was now The full size of a Princess, Rainbow Knew that the Form Dawn came in When she moved too ponyville was Not her princess form. Dawn's eyes where even a different Shape, Yet her hair stayed the same shape, But changed color. She looked exactly like- Dawn.
"Hey, Dash! Check out this new spell i learned." Dawn came in, Not knowing the Princess was at the door.
"Sit down." Princess Celestia said, In all seriousness.
They all sat down on a Nearby-Cloud couch, Celestia was the one too break the 3 Minute silence.
"Dawn, I have too tell you who you are. You are not just any old Alicorn.. Well, No alicorn is just any old alicorn. Every alicorn has a Purpose. I Raise the sun, Luna Raises The moon, And you. You have the unicorn power that only you can use. You can color the sky in beautiful, Different colors. You, Have not found you're destiny yet." She Paused for 2 minutes, And looked at dawn's Blank-Flank. "I'm Going too train you, Dawn. I am going too teach you how too use you're inner power. Only then, You can find you're Destiny..". Dawn then looked at The Princess, "Okay! I Wanna get too training!" Dawn shouted, With excitement.
"There's a catch.. Once you master you're Power too control the Dawn, And the Sunset, You must live in canterlot." The Princess said, Looking at Dawn. Rainbow couldn't stand silent Any longer, "Wait a minute! Does this mean she can't live with ME anymore?!", Then dawn used a Hush spell, And stopped Rainbow Dash before she said something she regreted. "I Can't leave my best friend, Princess! Is there anyway i can Live here?" Dawn said, Begging.
"No, Princess Dawn Sunset." The Princess said, Then Rainbow, And Dawn looked confused at The Princess' "What did you just call me? Dawn Sunset?" Dawn said, Even more confused than before. "Yes, Dawn Berry was the name we gave you. We did not want anyone too know you where such royalty. So we sent you too Manehatten, But we knew we could not hide you're wings.
