The Draconaques of the Crystal Empire

Shining Armor trotted along the streets. It had been a decade since he's been home. He had to leave for war but he was retreated back to the Crystal Empire because the Judge needed him for something. He walked along the streets. The big Empire seemed to touch the foggy clouds from a distance. He walked some more, his hooves a bit sore. So he sat on a rock next to..... A beautiful women dancing playing a tambourine.

He toke out his lunch and decided to stay a while and listen to the women play. There was a bucket in front of her. He put in there a ripe fresh apple and seven bits. He winked at her, she winked back. The pony was in fact and alicorn. She was pinkie and the tips of her wings were purple.

Suddenly, he heard a whistle from above. It was another colorful pony. He gestured for the dancer, the alicorn to come up quick. She picked up the money. She started to run, but it dropped out. She dropped on the floor picking it up quickly. Why was she rushing? All the sudden so guards appeared. That why.

"Huh, we've got another stealing gypsie" said one of the guards.

So that's what she was a gypsie.

"For your information I earned it" replied the gypsie.

"Gypsies don't earn money, they steal it" said the second guard.

Shining Armor had to de something. He had a plan. The gypsie started to run and the guards chased after her. Shining jumped in front of them. They fell to the floor. They started to use tickle magic on Shining, but he combatted being stronger.

"Stop it you mongrel" said the first guard.

Shining levitated his sword.

"You were saying LT." Said Shining

"It's the captain" said the guard.

"Sorry sir" they replied.

"Now can you take me to the Palace of Justice in the Empire I was recruited by the Judge"

"Yes sir" and the guards led him to the Empire.

The Empire was big. Captain Shining Armor walked in. The room he was sent to was dark, and he heard screams of distress coming from the prison chamber. Then he heard Sombra's voice.

"Stop, wait between each whip or else the sting of the first one will not take effect" he was talking to a guard.

"Hello" he said. There was an echo.

"Hello Captain" said Sombra.

"Nice to see you" said Shining Armor.

"You know, I'm so glad to see you hear, our last guard was a disappointment" said Sombra, there was another whip followed by a scream.

"I hold you on high regard Captain" said Sombra in a cheery mod.

They walked out on the balcony to see a good view of the town.

"You see Captain, the reason I called you hear is because of them" he pointed to a street dancer..... It was the one from early.

"The gypsies sir" said Shining Armor uncomfortably.

"Yes, you see I keep killing them, yet for all my efforts they thrive. I've called you hear to we can find their safe haven in the walls of this very city. They call it, the Court of Miracles" said Sombra.

"Sir, you've called me back from the war to kill fortune tellers, and hoof readers" said Shining a bit sceptic.

"Yes" replied Sombra.

Suddenly the sound of music and happy screams of delight were below.

"Have you ever been to a peasant celebration" asked Sombra.

"No sir" said Shining Armor.

"Then this will be a good educational experience for you" said Sombra.
