My Little Hero: Camaraderie is Magic, Series 1: Golden Blood

Walking into the forest, most of the group looked perturbed by Derek's lack of hesitance.

"What's so weird about the Everfree forest anyways?" he asked, using his magic to create a large orb of light.

"Well, to put it simply, the plants grow on their own, the weather changes on it's own, the animals somehow survive on their own, it's an unnatural mess, darling." Rarity summarized, still looking nervous.

"That's not scary at all, you're all just a bunch of wimps." Derek, Kage, and Charles all said at the same time.

Briefly looking at one another, the 3 men continued forward, guided by the light of Derek's orb.

Derek briefly pondered the current state of Equestrian government.

In the last 50 years there had been major breakthroughs in expanded liberties, men had earned their rights for property, voting for officials, and some other stuff, Derek himself was actually the first male student Celestia had had in about 1030 years, the last one was executed for piss poor performance during an event so major, it left the nation scarred and frightened for another 2 centuries, the banishment of Nightmare Moon.

From the start, Equestria had been run by women, they were often more intelligible (due to higher blood flow to the brain), and in archaic times each and every one of them was treated as a goddess of life for their ability to bear children, when society came together though, the thoughts were cast out when it was discovered that they could all do that.

Men were seen as workers, doing the physical stuff, while the women did the mental stuff, like government.

Recently, Arnold Smorzenegger, named so because in Germaney, as it was now known, that meant he was good at bringing different things together, like making a smores sandwich, or something.

The point was, he was recently appointed as governor of some city in Equestria, the news had been, unbalanced, there was little, if any, mention of exactly WHERE he was governor of, just that he was one.

What was funny was his preceding acting career, which also affected D-flank 'the boulder' Johnson, as he was now known, for becoming too big and strong to be called a rock.

Speaking of rocks, gemstones formed in the ground because of the interaction between magic and minerals, which causes their very large, clean cut formation so close to the surface.

The surface of the sun is like.... 4000 degrees.

The mass of the sun is 1.989 x 10^30, or 1989000000000000000000000000000 kilograms.

Wait, Derek, focus man.

Oh shit, he fell off the cliff.

"FUACK!" he shouted in surprise, grabbing the edge and holding on for dear life.

Charles grabbed him and tried to pull him up.

"I'm sorry man, I can't pull you up." Charles apologized.

"Why the fuck NOT!" Derek was freaking out, freaking out too much to

"I admit it, I lack the upper body strength, my job was all about the legs, I'm sorry." the geus apologized again.

"Great, how does that help me in, oh, it's this little thing that I like to do, it's called NOT DYING!" the battle mage was still freaking out.

"You should just let him go, he deserves it, laser guided karma, as they say, and plus he's mean." Pinkie insisted, crossing her arms and giving a 'humph'.

Charles looked at Derek, who looked at him with more than a bit of desperation.

"I'm letting go." he warned, before releasing the warmonger for gravity to take hold of him.

"I'M HAUNTING ALL OF YOU MOTHERFUCKEEEEEERRSSSSS!" Derek shouted up, trying to get louder as he fell further.

He fell

and fell

and fell.

and stopped falling.

"I won't let you just die, at least I can see the qualities in you." Kage assured, slowing the pair's descent until they gently touched down to the ground.

"Thanks, at least there's another person like me around here." Derek thanked, noting the red color of Kage's eyes.

Red eyes meant heroic, after all, and both of them had red eyes.

Charles navigated his way down the cliff like a goat.

Rainbow Dash carried Rarity down.

Pinkie Pie jumped into the cliff wall, and reappeared out of a nearby tree.

"Okay, so, Charles, I'm still mad, even if you were honest about your inabilities, you shouldn't just drop someone off a cliff, seriously, fuck you." Derek reprimanded, getting the train back on track.

They kept trekking through the forest, coming to a choke point between 2 walls, a narrow passageway, blocked by a manticore.

"I'm starting to like this place." the black mage stated, launching a powerful blast of magic at the manticore.

Said beast began to roar loudly, blocking the blast with it's large, thick bat wing.

Rainbow Dash charged, getting a higher position.

The manticore raised a paw, revealing a giant thorn that should have pierced through it's paw all the way to the other side.

The speedster stopped, looking at the thorn, then back at the face of the beast.

The mish-mash of a creature looked pained, not angry, she could tell, aegis could tell emotions a lot better than non-aegis.

"Hey, stop that, if you just need the thorn removed, I'll do it." the spectral haired girl offered, holding out her hand.

The manticore looked at her with a pathetic expression on it's face, holding out its paw

Slowly removing the knife-sized thorn from the massive paw, the manticore roared in pain, then calmed suddenly.

"Huh, much better, thank you." the beast said in plain English, walking away.

"Did, did that thing just talk?" everyone asked everyone else.

Moving on.

It was extremely dark in this next area of the woods, too dark.

The trees suddenly grew faces, scary mean faces.

Other than a jump scare, these things weren't really scary.

Derek looked at his companions, Pinkie looked ecstatic.

Then she started laughing uproariously at the faces on the trees.

And..

and......

.................

eh, fuck it all.

this isn't how this is supposed to be.

it all happened so long ago, so long ago in fact....

that this series happened to have ended shortly after the end of season 2, when said season aired the ending.

I don't know anymore, I'm going to just leave this behind and make something else.
