The Russian president was having a pretty rough year. His approval ratings were in the toilet, he nearly lost an election to the communists, he was recovering from a series of heart attacks, and his love of vodka wasn't doing him any favors. But Boris Yeltsin's life took another strange turn when he awoke one morning to find Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Twilight Sparkle sitting in the office of his dacha. A frightened and confused Yeltsin immediately jumped to the wrong conclusion, becoming extremely certain that it was all a heinous trick coordinated by Gennady Zyuganov, his political rival from the Communist Party. But as the morning went on, Yeltsin would abandon this theory as he took a few important lessons in friendship and magic.
