Princess Luna didn’t know what to think. In fact all she and his two other partners Twilight Sparkle and Time Turner could thought about the discovered books was “it’s a bad joke”
“Really, Princess?” - asked Twilight while looking around the “factory” which was in a terrible condition, not that it was unexpected – “Do you really think that “virtualization” program exist and that this ponies used them in the lost ponies?”
Luna didn’t act like she heard Twilight but she thought in the same way. Still if they could find more clues were those ponies were the better.
Of course the three of them were thinking in the lost ponies. Disappearing 3 weeks ago the Princesses and the royal guard have been searching for clues all over Equestria. The fact that two princesses were directly in the search parties was because both of them were good friends to those ponies.
Twilight-said Time Turner while inspecting some ruble-I don’t think is real to say the truth but this is the only place where we found clues about the CMC and the others so it is worth a shot.
Twilight sighted, he WAS saying the truth, only here in this abandoned “factory” is where they found information

“Well it’s obvious that they left long ago and also by how it was constructed they would have used it by years” -said Twilight- “and in complete secret” -she added
“Then what were they doing that they thought it wasn’t a good idea to tell us?” -asked a greatly confused Princess Luna not noticing that Twilight separated from the group
“Perhaps…” -Said Time Turner trying to think of a good idea- “…they were afraid that you would destroy the research”
“If they thought that then certainly this wasn’t a good…”
“Princess! Turner! Look at this!” -shouted Twilight cutting of the conversation of the two ponies- “it looks like an elevator”
“But those things are expensive!” -shouted a completely surprised Time Turner- “How did they got enough money to build all of this without anypony knowing? After all these seems to be state-of-the-art thechnology.”
“They couldn’t” -said Luna giving away some anger- “somepony knew about this and gave them the money they needed”
“Then what are we waiting for, use it! -said Turner like a foal in a candy store while entering the elevator
Both princesses tried to say no but then it hits them, there are other floors, each of them with new possible information. Deciding that they better got the information as soon as possible they entered the elevator.
After a few seconds they arrived to the first basement and as soon as the doors opened they were caught by surprise.
3 Big Monitors with a big Keyboard were put in a platform and behind them there was a type of projector. Without waiting Luna sat in the chair in front of the monitors trying to activate them without much success.
“Twilight, Time Turner go to the third basement is the deeper one so it should house the main generator” -said Luna while putting on the headset
Without saying much both Time Turner and Twilight went to the third basement. There, they found nothing more than a really big cylinder that looked that was made of circuits.
“Twilight, this machine seems a bit damaged it would be better if I stay here to keep it from shutting off” –said Time Turner while both he and Twilight searched for whatever that started the machine.
“Found It!” -shouted Twilight while activating the machine- “Princess, the generator is already activated I’m going up, Time Turner is staying to make sure it doesn’t break!”
“Alright, Twilight!” -responded Princess Luna- “then get here I’m already starting the monitors!”
After a few seconds Twilight was already at Princess Luna’s side.
“Wow” -said both princesses
“Princess, look!”
And in fact Luna saw that the unknown projector started and formed an image that looked like a big island.
“Twilight?”
“Yes, Princess”
“You better go to the second basement there should be something there”
“Ok, Princess”
As Twilight went to the second basement, Luna started to search for information until she discovered something.
“Apparently this was the virtualization machine prototype and here says it was tested but it failed; and not only that but erased most of the information and locked other things in the failing” -she was going to try and unlock the information but fortunately for her Twilight interrupted her doings
“Princess!”
“Yes, Twilight?”
“Here there are only some tubes” -puzzlement clearly showed in the mare’s voice- “what are these tubes supposed to do?”
“Don’t know Twilight” -answered Luna- “Stay there I will have the answers soon enough”
“Ok, Princess”
“Now where was I?” -Luna asked herself- “wait, this is new”
Indeed a new option had appeared that said -“Guardian Activation?”- Luna clicked “Yes”, it was better using this guardian than trying to crack the archives by herself
As soon as she clicked it the right smaller monitor changed it color from the light blue to a darker shade of blue while raw coding was viewed in the background, soon something was heard
“Ugh” -said as voice Luna recognized instantly- “where am I?”
Luna couldn’t believe it, IT WAS PIPSQUEAK, but how?
“Pipsqueak?” -asked an unsure Luna- “It is you?”
“Princess?”
Soon enough Pipsqueak appeared, he had his usual pinto color and brown mane, he also had a robe covering and he also had a bow with arrows slang on his back. Apart from that he looked really strange. Not wanting to alarm him she started to talk with him by asking a simple question.
“Pipsqueak, do you remember something before waking up here?”
“No, nothing really, apart from…” -answered Pipsqueak confused on why Princess Luna was asking him that question
“Apart from what?”
“Apart from a sudden hit I received in the head”
That confirmed it, whatever passed all the ponies that disappeared were taken by force.
“Pipsqueak, wait a moment while I call someponies” –said Luna trying to appear as calm as possible
“No problem, Princess” –asked an even more confused Pipsqueak
He could feel by the voice of the princess that she was possibly hiding something and that something could explain where the hay he was.
“Twilight, Time Turner get here, I need to show you something” -shouted Luna
Show them something? Now Pipsqueak knew something was up but before he could even ask both Twilight and Time Turner appeared.
“So, what going on?”

The Fun has Began
“So let me say what I understood” -said a utterly confused Pipsqueak
“First, somepony took me after he hit me in the head, Second now I’m a computer program and three…” -Pipsqueak now was panicking- “THERE IS NO WAY TO GET ME OUT!”
The three ponies flinched at the last point, both of the volume of Pipsqueak’s shouting the was near the volume of the Royal Canterlot Voice and the fact that they couldn’t get him out.
“Pip” -said Princess Luna- “We know that you are shocked but…”
“But, what?!”
“Well you are supposed to be a guardian of sorts and…” –said Luna while trying to think how to put the request
“Let me guess” -said Pipsqueak, letting some of his anger show- “you want me to access the information of this “project””
“I will do it, because it seems the only way I can get out of this place” -said in a defeated tone Pipsqueak- “still got a problem, if I’m a computer program how we can communicate with each other?”
“I think I have a solution” -said Time Turner- “It seems that they also thought of that and I found this”
Time turner showed something like a black rectangle
“And that is?” -asked a confused Twilight
“It seems to be like a portable version of this computer” -said Turner- “Princess since you are the one using the main computer, it’s you, princess, the one that should use this to communicate with Pipsqueak”
While Luna and Time Turner tried to connect the two things Twilight centered his attention in Pipsqueak that summoned something and was rapidly moving his front legs while standing in his hind legs searching in complete concentration
“Pip” -asked Twilight -“found anything?”
“Yeah and I don’t like them” -answered Pipsqueak in a preoccupied voice
“Why?” -asked Luna trying to get the conversation
“I'll give you the resume”
“One: There are another 7 guardians”
“Two: It seems that I’m an incomplete guardian, why? It doesn’t say”
“Three: This, where I’m now, is called a tower and it is a database. It also says that towers activates in random intervals and those who control them gain the information within. Also the name of this virtual work is Equis”
“Four: There are other sectors with more towers and guardians but they are locked, it seems that is a general problem the good news is that in those locked sectors the towers and the guardians can’t be activated”
“Five and it seems the most important: Guardians have the ability to "sense" in a way a tower activation and can guide themselves to the activated tower”
“Six: There is no materialization code in this tower, so unless you want someone trapped here until the tower with the code activates, don’t send anyone”
“Seven: A programmer can modify the virtual version of a pony but within certain limits depending of the number of towers you have in control”
“Eight: Towers can be captured by other ponies with help of a guardian, just like us”
“Nine: Each virtualized pony gets a virtualization “card” that give information of the abilities they have on Equis”
“Princess before we start all questions, we better finish connecting this thing so you can communicate with Pipsqueak” -said Time Turner
A few hours passed before the transfer was complete
“Well it must be getting late” -said Twilight- “after all we have been here for hours"
“True” -said Luna
“What about this?” -asked Pipsqueak- “I mean, do we tell anypony about this or we keep it as a secret”
“Better we keep this as a secret until we find a way to get in the worst of cases only Pipsqueak out” “said Time Turner before adding- “Pipsqueak said there are another guardians so its safe to assume they are also ponies”
“Turner, remember that Pipsqueak is an “incomplete” guardian” –said Twilight- “for all we know only he is a guardian based on a pony”
“Still I have to agree with Time Turner” -said Luna with conviction- “We know almost nothing about this so for now we will keep this as a secret”
With that last problem solved all ponies started to get back to their homes
“Good-bye Pipsqueak”-said the three ponies at the same time
“Bye everypony” -answered Pipsqueak
After two hours of travel Time Turner and Twilight arrived to Ponyville while Luna took another hour to arrive to Canterlot no because it was that far but because she wanted to think alone.
When she arrived she tried to get to her room as soon as possible but Murphy had other ideas.
“Luna!” -said a happy Celestia while hugging her sister- “you finally arrived, any luck?”
“No sister” -said Luna lying to her sister
“You will have more luck next time”
“I wish but we agreed to take a few weeks free of the search”
“Well sister I will be in my room” –said Luna wanting to get some privacy
“Luna” -said Celestia in a singing voice trying to not laugh- “did you forget to get the moon up?
After lifting the moon Luna finally got to her room, sat in her bed and activated to black rectangle thing thing while opening it
“Well it seems that Turner said to truth” -commented Luna a bit surprised seeing the insides of the Laptop- “it is a small computer”
After waiting for a few seconds she managed to contact Pipsqueak who was meditating
“Wow it works” -said Pipsqueak in a surprised deadpanned way while standing
“You don’t seem so surprised” -said Luna while lifting one eyebrow at both the comment and the meditaton part
“Considering that I’m trapped in a computer, this is nothing”
Luna couldn’t help herself and started to laugh falling from the bed
“It’s not funny!” -said Pipsqueak trying to control his anger
“Sorry Pip but couldn’t help myself” -while laughing like a madmare
Meanwhile in another secret location a group of ponies have a reunion in their own
“What do you mean by that?!”
“What I said you idiot!”
“Silence! we will discuss this matter in a civilized manner!”
"Agreed"
“So someone have reactivated the supercomputer”
“Yes”
“That will be a problem”
“Especially now that we can’t access Equis”
“And if they get the information stored there …”
“… we will be busted”
“We have a chance however, there are two guardians that have been activated with luck they will stop anyone from reaching the towers”
“If they can’t?”
“That why we will try to crack into the towers when they activate”
“But we would need Hours even days!”
“If the guardians can halt them then we can afford that time”

I know that this chapter is in a way very weak but couldn't get enought time to polish it, so sorry
and yes, my fic will have some MMORPG mechanics
And try to guess who the other ponies are (still I'm not going to tell you)
