Gilda, The Sky's The Limit

It was morning in canterlot, as Celestias sun was high in the sky warming the ponies, unicorns and Pegasus of Equestia.
Gilda and Luna were already awake, spending some time together, relaxing in the sun.
"Hay Gilda can I ask a little favour?" Luna was still a filly but her voice had returned to its normal self.
"Yeah sure. What do you need?" Gilda picked up Luna and placed her on her back.
"Well I’m going to use the spell to turn me back to normal so in other words..." Luna's horn glowed and in an instant, Gilda was carrying regular Luna on her back.
"oh sweet feathers!" the sudden weight change caught Gilda off guard and made her fall over with Luna on top of her.
"Sorry about that." Luna got off Gilda and lifted her back up.
"Nah it’s okay and at least your back to normal now." there was a bit of a silence between the two for a bit until Gilda spoke up.

"I got my Armour today Luna, you want to see it?" Luna nodded her head and set off to Gilda's room.
When they got there, Gilda opened a box containing her Armour. She punched through the lid of the box and got out all her Armour. The whole set was like traditional royal guard Armour though only slightly bigger.
"Do you need some help putting it on?" Luna asked seeing all the pieces.
"Sure, why not. I don't get how all the guards get this on every day. There’s million different parts."
"Actually only twenty seven. It’s rather easy really." Luna levitated the Armour around Gilda.
"This part goes here, that there, I think that part goes here and... done!" Luna jumped for joy seeing Gilda look like a noble warrior. The Armour had the symbol for a royal guard to the princess on it, a shield covering the moon and sun.
"Thanks Luna. How do you know this anyway?" Gilda was curious as to how Luna knew how to assemble Armour in such a small space of time.
"Oh well I once helped the recruits if they couldn't figure out how to place it. It’s a bit pointless for me to know though, I can just use my magic and in a minute, the Armour would form around you." before Gilda could reply, a knocking on the door could be heard.

Gilda opened the door to see princess Celestia... and a purple unicorn.
"Hay there Celestia and... what’s your name?" Gilda asked the purple unicorn, though she seemed intimidated by Gilda's Armour.
"My name is twilight sparkle. You know you look really familiar... it doesn't matter for now." Luna came out of the door and twilight bowed to Luna.
"There’s no need for that twilight. I’m guessing your friends are visiting to say hi and such?" twilight nodded.
After twilight stopped bowing, a blue Pegasus came along and immediately recognised Gilda.
"Hay you!" the Pegasus went straight up to Gilda’s face.
"Hi there dash." Gilda said in a fake pleasant voice. "Having a nice time in canterlot?" dash's face went to confusion as to how she was acting but was still angry at her.
"Look Dash, I’m a changed griffon. I’ve been through a lot okay?" dash was still angry at her though.
"You almost hurt my friends! I could just hurt you right now and-"
"ENOUGH!" Luna yelled, sending dash back a few steps. Luna nuzzled Gilda’s neck, making twilight and rainbow dash jaws drop.
"Rainbow dash that is enough! Gilda has been through a lot. She lost a wing, become a royal guard to me and Celestia and were a couple." rainbow dash was at a loss for words at this, Luna and Gilda as a couple. She had never heard of anything like that before.

After a long silence, Twilight spoke up.
"I’m happy for you Luna." Twilight sheepishly said. Gilda smiled. "I’m also happy for you Gilda as well. Whatever happened in the past is water under the bridge as the saying goes." Gilda hugged twilight and Luna, smiling while doing so.
"Thanks for the forgiving." Gilda let go of the two.
"Gilda, you said you lost your wing in an accident correct? Did Luna use spell on you to create said wing?"
"Yes I did. My sister told me you used a similar spell on rarity. Maybe I could teach you how to master it?"
Twilight nodded vigorously and went off with Luna to learn some magic.

Dash gave a hate filled glare to Gilda.
"Well I’m off to do some training. See ya later dash." before Gilda went off, Rainbowdash got in front of her.
"How did you and Luna get together anyway? Someone like her could get someone a lot better." Gilda clenched her fist.
"It’s none of your business dash. I love her and that's all that matters. Actually I have something to give you, hang on."
Gilda went to her room and grabbed some tickets. "I thought that to put the water under the bridge, I got you some wonder bolts tickets. One for you and one for your friend." dash smiled and took the tickets.
"Umm... thanks Gilda. I’ll go tell Fluttershy that-"
"Fluttershy's here? Hay can you tell her I said thanks for fixing the wing from the sap." Rainbow dash’s face went to confusion.
"Anyway, have fun. I’m going to go practise for a bit, see ya later dash." Gilda went off to the training grounds and Rainbowdash went to the wonder bolts.

Zero was walking through the market and made it to a muffin stand.
"Hello there, what would you like today?" the shop keeper asked in happy tone.
"Two blue berry muffins and one grape muffin." the shop keeper frowned at this.
"Sorry Zero but the last grape muffin was brought by some Pegasus five minutes ago." Zero rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Fine just give me a chocolate muffin then." a Pegasus came in and waited behind Zero.
"Excuse me but do you have any grape muffins?" the shop keeper moved his in disagreement.
The shop keeper passed the muffins to Zero after he paid and turned around to see a familiar face.
"Oh hi there Ditzy, how's everything going for you these days?" Zero passed a muffin to ditzy and went to sit down.

They sat down and started to chat about what had happened.
Ditzy told Zero how she had gotten married and how her life had been wonderful.
Zero told her how nothing that special had happened to him, aside from being drunk a lot of the time.
"You need some direction in life Zero... hay I know! Follow me!" Ditzy grabbed zero's leg and took him somewhere.

"Ditzy were the heck are we?" Zero rolled his eyes around and saw so much pink.
"You’re going to meet an old friend of mine." Zero looked around and saw... a runway?
"Umm Ditzy... who is your friend?" Ditzy didn't answer and instead knocked on some pony's door.
"Who is there? A fan or a friend?" the voice sounded angelic to Zero's ears.
"It’s me ditzy. I just came to introduce my friend to you that's all." the opened and Ditzy's friend appeared.
"It’s been a while ditzy, how are things going for you?" the tall unicorn asked to Ditzy.
"I've gotten married and I’m super happy now!" Ditzy said while smiling. "And how are you fleur?"
"Upset that's all. My husband cheated on me so we broke up... now I have no home." Ditzy had an idea.
"Well my friend zero can help with that. Fleur, this is Zero. He’s a good friend of mine who needs some direction in life."
Fleur's face went to confusion. "What are you saying?"
"Well he could look after you and maybe he could find some direction in life as well." Ditzy picked Zero up and put him in front of Fleur.
"Well I’ll leave you two alone so you can get to know each other, I’m going to go home now, see you two later."

Zero and Fleur were silent for a while until Zero spoke up.
"So... should you get your stuff? Or do you need some help?" Fleur nodded and went to gather some of her things.
A few minutes later, she had brought with her all her clothes and personal belongings.
"Need any help carrying that?" Zero asked, trying to be nice to the lady.
"If it's no problem dear." Zero smiled and picked up the rest of the bags with ease and set off to Zero's house.

A while of walking later...

"Well here it is, home sweet home." Zero pointed to the medium sized house near the park.
"There’s enough room for you so don't worry. I’ll show you inside." Zero said as he opened the door.
"Okay my room is upstairs and there's a shower upstairs as well. There’s kitchen down the hall and living room right there, just to the left of you, and I’ll sort out my bed in a minute." Fleur had a puzzled look.
"Your bed?" Zero rolled his eyes.
"You’re much bigger than me so I’ll set up the guest bed for me and you can have my bed. If you don't like it then-"
Fleur hugged Zero tightly. "Thank you Zero." Zero was surprised.
"I’ll... I’ll go set it up now, you just sort yourself out, maybe take a nap. You seem tired." fleur yawned and went up to sleep.
Zero made the bed and went to sleep as well.

Back with Gilda...

Gilda met up with Luna who was still teaching twilight some magic.
"Hay there Luna." Gilda nuzzled Luna’s neck, which sent Luna into a blush.
"Umm... hay there Gilda. How was today?" Gilda smiled. "I think I fixed things up with dash. So what's happening here?"
"Luna is teaching me transmorphic spells... unless you two would like a minute alone?" Luna and Gilda smiled.
"Well maybe later tonight maybe but not now." Gilda saying this made Luna blush heavily.
"Anyway, it's nearing the end of the day so I’m heading to the hotel, I’ll see you tomorrow Luna." twilight bowed to Luna before teleporting off to the hotel.

later...

It had become night time, Luna had raised the moon high into the sky. All the stars were out and were brighter than usual.
"The stars are wonderful tonight." Gilda had sneaked up behind Luna.
"I suppose they are." Luna looked into Gilda's eyes and felt so happy and warm that Celestia's sun would be an ice cube in comparison.
"Gilda... tonight, could we..." Gilda planted her beck on Luna’s muzzle.
"Are you sure Luna?" Luna nodded meekly and went to Gilda’s room.
