Gilda, The Sky's The Limit

The sun rose through the windows of the palace giving light and reveal to the palace walls and all that lived in them.. Except one room in particular, Luna’s room. She stayed up trying to think of a way to help her friend. She spent hours every day looking through hundreds of books, trying to find a way to wake up her friend but she had not found what she had wanted but it would do. It was a mind melding spell that would allow Luna to enter Gilda’s mind. All she had to do was get some ingredients.

She went outside her room and looked around for someone to help her. "Morning Luna." said zero.
"Hello zero. What brings you here?" asked Luna. "Oh well Gilda wanted me to give you something." zero got out the gift to Luna: a white orchid. "When did..." Luna was admiring the beauty of the flower and placed it in her hair.
"Gilda wanted to give it to you, saying you were very special to her but she was scared that you would hate her for it."
"Why would she think that?! What’s wrong with 2 people being in love!?" exclaimed Luna.
"Well it's not really the whole love thing but it's just in the griffon kingdom, a love between same sex couples is considered wrong and there's also the fact that your royalty doesn’t help. She’s cares for you but she doesn’t want to see you hurt."
"I don't care what people would think of us, she's more important than anyone's thoughts." said Luna.
"That’s just what Celestia said a couple of years ago to twilight sparkle I believe." said zero.
"I never thought Celestia had something like that." said Luna, surprised by that statement.
"Yeah but for her, that story had a sad ending. Shame really, they were perfect for each other." zero sighed.
"Zero, could you help me with something? It’s to help Gilda." said Luna in a somber tone. Zero nodded and they went off.

They went into the canterlot shopping district and started to search for the first item on the list: phoenix feathers.
"Couldn’t we just get some feathers of that bird that Celestia has?" asked zero.
"Yes but I can't find that blasted bird anywhere. I believe Celestia said something about a migration of phoenixes or something like that. Besides were not looking for feathers, were looking for a flower that's named phoenix feathers." said Luna.
"Okay then. Besides there's a shop around here that sell's exotic stuff like that around here." said zero.
They searched for the shop and came across a rather strange shop that piqued Luna’s interest.

"Ello there, what ya buying?" asked the robed pony.
"I’m looking for ingredients for a potion I’m making so I’m just seeing if you have any ingredients." said Luna.
"Ahh I see. Let me guess what's on the list: phoenix feathers, crocodile tears, moon ash and a star rose." said the robed pony.
"That’s right" Luna was impressed. "How did you know?" asked Luna. "Lucky guess. Lady Luck seems to be in a good mood today as I have one of those things you require, the star rose thing." said the robed pony.
"Oh thank you so much. How much?" asked Luna.
"For you, 80 bits." Luna was shocked at the price. "80 bits for a rose! That’s a horrible price!" exclaimed Luna.
"You need it don't you?" Luna nodded. "80 bits at the least or ya can screw off!" exclaimed the robbed pony who then got tackled by zero, who appeared from behind.

Zero ripped of the hood of the robe to reveal who the pony was. He had a scar on his face a black hair but nothing else to make him stand out. "You realise it's against the law to insult a member of the royal family!" exclaimed zero.
"I have every right to say what I want about who I want." said the black haired pony.
"Look we'll let this pass but if you give us what we came for. Either that or we fine you for 200 bits." said zero. The black haired pony surrendered and handed over the star rose. "I’m sorry for all of this." said Luna.
"I guess I should apologise as well. Look I just have a couple of things wrong with myself at the moment so I’m not in the best of moods." Luna placed a hoof on his shoulder. "Don’t worry, I forgive you." said Luna in a caring tone.
"Luna, I know where we can get crocodile tears so we should go now." Luna nodded and went with zero.

Luna looked rather upset and sighed. "Zero, you said that Celestia had a relationship like mine and you said it ended on a sad note. Why?" asked Luna.
"I don’t know why to be honest. I guess it was the pressure of the whole thing. Love between same sex couples around here is frowned at by the general public around here and gets on my bucking nerves!" exclaimed zero. Luna was surprised by the outburst. "I didn't know you felt so strongly about this." said Luna.
"It’s my sister you see. She loves her best friend and they want to get married but the problem is there scared they’ll be ridiculed for it which gets on my nerves. Luna I want to ask a favour of you." zero said in a confident tone.
"And that would be?" said Luna. "Can my sister have your blessing at her wedding? She told me if I could get someone other than me to bless her at her wedding, then she would go through with It." said zero.
"Of course... but on one condition." said Luna. Zero perked his ears. "She has to do the wedding at night." said Luna.
Zero had a confused look on his face. “well okay but why?" asked zero.
"I think you'll be happy when it happens." said Luna with a small smile on her face. "Thanks Luna. I’ll tell my sister tonight."
With that they went to get the rest of the ingredients.

Meanwhile with Celestia and vile...

Vile woke up to see the piercing the windows, making his eye's sting a bit but nothing much. He looked over and saw Celestia asleep, holding him in her front legs. Vile started to look over her, admiring her body but he stopped and thought to himself "remember vile, she's a princess and you’re a guard. Besides you have more important things to worry about." vile went to the small bathroom and washed his face.
He put on his got his helmet and gave it a quick clean. Celestia awoke a while after.
"Morning princess, I trust you slept well?" asked vile, smiling and in a joyful tone.
"Fairly well considering I forgot something." said Celestia. "I usually cuddle something while I’m asleep so I take a teddy to bed with me. You won't tell anyone, will you vile?" asked Celestia.
"Actually you used me as a teddy last night." said vile. "Oh. Sorry about that." said Celestia.
"It’s no problem. Actually it was rather nice." Vile saying this made Celestia smile and blush.

After some food, Celestia and vile went off to meet blaze and discuss what was going to happen to the griffon kingdom.
After about 10 minutes, they arrived at blazes home. Unlike Celestias castle which was massive, blazes home was the same size as everyone else's homes. The main difference was that blazes home had a balcony but other than that, it was fairly low class for someone of royalty. "I would have thought his home would be bigger than this." said vile.
"Blaze is leaves that having luxuries disconnects him from his friends, so he lives the same way that everyone else does."
Blaze was on top of the balcony of his home and jumped down to Celestia and vile. He landed and made vile fall over in shock. "I’m guessing you’re not used to that. Ahh oh well." blaze lifted vile to feet.
"Now let's head inside were we can discuss all of this. I have pie!" blaze was insanely happy and escorted Celestia and vile into his.

He has a large sofa and a fireplace in the living room along with decorations of both weapons and some animal heads mounted on his wall. “I take it that you hunt sir blaze?" asked vile.
"Hell yeah I do! Though Celle here thinks I am a bit brutal with it." said blaze.
"Only a little bit." Celestia smiled. "Besides, that's not what were here to talk about though." Celestia sat down next to vile and blaze sat on an opposite seat and started to talk.

"So what exactly do you require blaze?" asked vile.
"Nothing much, just some food supplies and possible some help with rebuilding some homes." said blaze. He smiled.
"I’d be glad to help you. Just write down how much you'll need and I’ll see what I can do." said Celestia in a caring tone.
"Thank you so much Celle. I’ll down what we need now and I’ll send it to you when it's ready." said blaze.
"It’s been an honour meeting you blaze." said vile who bowed to blaze. "Ahh stop with the formal junk and give me hug."
Blaze gave a group hug to Celestia and vile. After that, Celestia and vile headed back to canterlot.

On the way back, vile said something. "Thank you." vile looked up at Celestia. "I needed this." Celestia was confused.
"Why did you need this?" vile sighed. "Problems at home. You don't want to hear them." said vile.
"You’re my friend vile so I shall listen to you." Celestia placed her wing around vile. "Now tell me please." vile smiled.
"When I took my bro to the doctors about a month ago, they said he had another 2 years before he would die. He was happy but I was not. He didn't understand that 2 years is rather short. As the days went by, he got worse and worse until one night I checked on him and..." vile started to cry into Celestia wing. "He was very special to you I see." Celestia said in a caring tone. "I’ve had many friends over my years and they have gone. I miss them but I try to get through it." Celestia looked down at vile. "Is that why you and twilight sparkle..." vile was cut off by Celestia. "Yes that's why. I don't want to lose another love like that again." Celestia's smile went away. They approached canterlot.

Back with Luna and Zero...

It was late in the afternoon and Luna and zero had gathered the ingredients they needed for Luna’s potion.
"Zero, thank you so much for helping me with this." Luna smiled at zero.
"It was no problem. Now hurry back and make that thing, I’ve got to check some stuff around here so I’ll see you tomorrow."
Luna waved goodbye Zero and headed back to the castle.

She placed out the ingredients and read the instructions.
"Step 1: cut the petals of the star rose and place in a bowl with the crocodile tears." Luna followed.
"Next, ground up the phoenix feathers and then add the moon ash with it. Place the 2 into the same bowl as the crocodile tears and star rose petals. Easy enough." Luna followed and yawned. "I must be tired from the one of the ingredients."
"Okay let's see here... add water and mix until it's a green liquid then drink. Once you drink the potion you will be able to enter any person's dreams at will and interact with their thoughts." Luna added water and stirred until it was the green colour though the smell almost made Luna throw up. "Okay, here it goes." Luna drank the potion in one go.

She went off to her bedroom and started to fall asleep. "Hopefully this will work." Luna fell asleep and the potions effects took place...
