When gamers meet [Someone else has taken over this fic]

So... I'm taking a mare....to a restaurant. What is this tingling feeling in my chest? I haven't felt like this in years. Am I becoming sick? I feel less grumpy and miserable though... So i guess that's a good sign

The two ponies are walking in the streets of Mare-sinki to an Italian restaurant. The stallion was deep in his thoughts and wasn't quite sure where he was heading, but the mare seemed to know where to go. They eventually found a restaurant they were looking for, a Italian one.

The stallion and the mare sat down at a table and they both started looking through the menus.

The stallion then says: ''I think I'll have the spaghetti, what are you having?'' He asked.

‘‘Lasagna''

''Okay then, let's wait for the waiter then. At the meantime, may I ask your name?'' The stallion asked, although he already knew it from the letter he read.

''Thundercloud... And what’s yours?'' she quickly said after the question.

'' Mine is Ubie. Nice to meet you, Thundercloud'' Ubie then gives of a slight smile

''Ubie? What a unique name''

''Well, i tend to hear that a lot from work'' answered Ubie with a giggle. ''Now that we are at the subject of work... what do you do for living, Thunder? Can I call you that?''

''I work for DJ-PON3....well...at least i was... until I called the quits and yes, you can call me Thunder''

''Really? Wow... I have actually been in one of her concerts''

''Did you like the music... cause' I've written every one of her songs'' She said with a sign of annoyance in her tone.

''Why yes I liked it a lot... But... you? You have written all of her songs? I've never heard that DJ-PON3 had someone to write the songs for her''

''Se! there! That's why I quit, she never mentioned me to her fan base. She took all the credit for herself and she often made me work extra hours without extra bits'' Thunder took a deep breath after what she said.

''Anyways'' she said regaining her smile. '' What do you do?''

''I'm an electrician'' Ubie said feeling a bit proud of himself ''Don't let the cutie mark fool you'' He added while looking at his cutie mark, which was a Steam logo.

''Nice'' Thunder said, as she then proceeds to look Ubie in the eyes with her red ones. Ubie swallows and looked a bit nervous. He then smiles and says: '' Your eyes have a nice shade of red'' Thunder blushes slightly and answered with

''Thank you''

The waiter finally comes and takes the orders from the two ponies. The waiter wrote down the orders, said '' Have a wonderful evening'' and left. Thundercloud then looked back at Ubie with slightly softened eyes and said ''...You look really cute''

Ubie then tries to hide his blushed face behind the menu witch the waiter had forgotten to take back. He eventually puts it away and looks the mare in the eyes and said ''You are not looking bad yourself'' They were now both blushing and looking into each other’s eyes. Thunder then said '' Thanks'', managing to blush even more.

Then suddenly the waiter brings the food to their table and the two jumped up a bit. ''Oh... thanks'' They both said at the same time.

They were eating their food now and Ubie decides to bring up some conversation.

'' Enjoying your food?'' He asked while he picked up spaghetti with a fork.

'' Yes, I am. This pasta is great'' She answered and ate some more lasagna.

'' This spaghetti isn't bad either'' Ubie added '' So...what do you intend to do now after you quitted that job of yours?''

Thundercloud saddened up a bit and said '' I have no idea...but... you know...I know you read that letter of mine before you returned it to me''

Ubie, now looking ashamed of himself and said: '' Yeah... i did. Didn't intend to tell you that cause'... you know, you aren't supposed to read personal letters...'' Thundercloud quickly said '' I'm not mad at you, I told you anyways my current problems, so i think it doesn't really matter if you read that letter or not''

Ubie puts his hooves on the table.

''But I'm still sorry that i read that letter of yours''

Thunder holds Ubie's hoof and says ''Look... don't be. It's alright'' she smiled after that sentence.

'' Sigh... Okay'' said Ubie with relief. ''Is there anything else you do beside from writing music?

''Not really'' Thunder says looking down at her food.

''Well...  I don't do either anything else than electrical work, aside from gaming''

''G-gaming?'' Thunder stuttered.

''Well yeah gaming, you know... playing video games''

''Yes I know what gaming is. What i meant to ask was that what kind of games you play?'' She then looked down to her cutie mark, which she always seemed to hide with her bag in the public

''Well... games I like to play are platformers, retro, open world and shooters''

Thunder slams her hooves on the table and says '' What about Skyrim! ''

'' Oh yes... I forgot to mention the Rpg's. Skyrim is a personal favorite'' Ubie got his first chance to see what Thunderclouds cutie mark was, as she had her hind hooves on the ground and the front hooves on the table.

Unfortunately she sat back down and Ubie couldn't make out what it was.

''Oh my gosh... You're so awesome'' She was now looking again at Ubie with softened eyes.

The two ponies had finished their meals and they were outside on the street. '' Want me to walk you home'' Ubie suddenly asks. ''Yes please'' Thunder answered with a smile on her face.

As they finally arrive back to Thunderclouds house, Thunder, standing at her door says:

'' I had a great time''. Thunder looking happier than ever, Ubie replied with

'' Me too, hope we will meet again someday'' Thundercloud was now standing right in front of Ubie. She then says

''I think we should totally meet again'' and then kisses him. She walks back to her door and says:'' Bye'' While Smiling at Ubie.

''Bye'' He replied while blushing.
