Chapter 1: Markets, Shyness, and a Little Foal

Previous Chapter

Raphael Allmore looked amongst the town, every-pony staring at him. He knows why though. Raphael came upon not much to see. Just small town houses, a town hall, some market stalls/stores, and a school. “Where should I go first?” he looked around the town hall, nah, too easy. The school, nah, he’d rather save that for later. The market and or stores it is. With his blade in his hand he began walking starting with a big carousel shaped building. The door swung open a loud crash filling the room as the door flew off its hinges.

“Hello dearie, be with you in a moment,” the white unicorn said putting diamonds on a dress.

Raphael shook his head. “Tsk, tsk, you shouldn’t keep a possible customer waiting for any time,” he unsheathed his sword, the sound attracting Rarity’s undivided attention. The silence that Raphael loved oh so much filled the room, nothing to be heard but the sound of nothing. The sun still high and proud peaked through the windows of the carousel shaped building. “What? What’s the sun doing up!?” he never raised nor lowered the sun. He held the sword in one hand and simply snapped his fingers lowering the sun. Raphael liked having three extra hours of night. The sun lowered as he snapped his fingers.

His blade arose from the ground. He knew he’d have to make it fast. There are others in here he’d think. The blade finally after getting to the top over head of Raphael it swung down, going through the white unicorn’s horn only. He muffled the long scream with his hand. “Shh…” his voice turned to a twisted voice. The sword raised in the air blood dripping off the blade. “That’s not enough,” he frowned raising the sword licking his lips he brought the sword down, straight down into the mare’s throat. Blood spurt on his face. Raphael smiled wickedly. This is a paradise for such a sick man such as him. He licked his lips. Raphael sniffed his blade, the combination of the new smell of pony blood and the smell of the steel of his sword.

Raphael wasn’t pleased with how clean it was. Allmore shook his head then brought his sword out of the mare’s white neck. “Now, now, shh, it’ll all be okay,” he chuckled evilly his blade turning a crimson red color as he raised it to the sky. He paid no mind for the moment of the sun raised back up. Raphael smirked evilly blade dripping Rarity’s blood, along with her back of the neck. She fought for survival still faintly able to see Raphael’s sword as her eyelids were growing heavier by the second. “Goodnight,” he spoke softly as if he was speaking to a loved one. Almore closed his eyes giving a faint grin as he dropped his blade into Rarity’s pure white back. A bloodcurdling scream soon followed the stab.

Raphael smiled widely. He brought his blade close to his lips. He began to lick the blade loving every last drop of it. Dropping the blade he let out a sigh of happiness. “This I am just absolutely loving!” he exclaimed raising the blade. He then noticed there happens to be a piece of the heart stuck on the blade. He smiled as he picked the piece off the blade. Raphael flopped it in his mouth chewing in front of the white, mutilated, carcass. He chewed it well; you cannot under chew a piece of flesh. He chuckled manically as he walked away his hunger still not quite satisfied. The white mare wasn’t as satisfying as first anticipated. Raphael rolled his eyes. He looked to his now clean of blood blade. He stopped as he realized the sun was up… again. “What the, why is it up again?” he pondered he knew the sun and or moon could come up and down at will of itself. He shook his head. Whatever, why should he waste time on lowering the sun?

Raphael shrugged where next, the school maybe, nah, the farmhouse. He walked to the farm. Raphael smirked as he looked back every-pony terrified of him. Raphael smirked as his blade was dying to become a crimson red blade. He did name his blade. “You ready Crimson?” he looked to his long stainless steel sword.

“Welcome ta the farm how can good ol’ Applejack help ya?” she asked not even turning to face Raphael.

“You can look me in the face, Applejack,” Raphael spoke angrily at the orange coated mare.

The mare accepted his request and looked to his face expecting to see a stallion. She was jumped when the sight of a blade close to her face. “Uh…” she was speechless beyond that point.

Allmore frowned at the thought she is totally speechless. “C’mon Applejack,” he sighed. “Fine say night-night,” with that a large bone shattering crack was heard as the blade entered the blonde maned mare’s skull. He felt the fresh, warm, blood drip from his sword to his hand. He looked to his hand; crimson red as expected.

“Hm… you might have the best looking blood I’ve had so far, you see, that pink one’s was way too sweet. Yours might be just right,” he smirked as his blade yet again rose to the air blood still dripping from the tip, AJ still slowly breathing… somehow. Raphael chose it best be time to end it; he knows that she has to have family that will wonder where she is. He smirked in a twisted sense. “This has been short but fun, however like all good things, it must come to an end,” with that the blade came down blood dripping as usual. Raphael smiled twistedly as his tongue went across the steel blade. He glanced among the farm. Nothing was left. Raphael Allmore sighed, sure he loves the taste of all blood but, this one tasted tart and sweet at the same time. Almore licked his blade again trying to get the loose blood on the blade. Raphael broke out into a chuckle.

Raphael tapped his chin. “I wonder,” he looked to the sky suddenly the moon was up. He saw the house’s lights go dark and the farm silent.

He walked quietly to the farmhouse. Raphael reached to his pockets pulling out a small piece of flammable wood. “This should be fun…” he smiled when he brushed the wood along his hand. The wood caught fire. “Goodnight…” he grinned. “… Forever,” he tossed the flammable wood onto the house’s base. He stood there as he watched the house burn to the ground, bloodcurdling screaming form the inside of the house. He soon saw the house fall to the ground. “Bye, bye,” he soon heard a scream from outside of the house.

“Sis, big brother, Granny!” a little foal screamed at the top of her lungs.

He played on that. “Oh no, what happened little foal?” he smirked coming closer to the filly with a red mane and bow in her mane.

“Oh Mister, that’s my house! You gotta save mah sis, brother, and Granny!” she begged of Raphael the king of Zenofor.

He shook his head. “I’m sorry little one, I heard screaming from inside. I don’t think they are alive anymore,” Raphael gripped his sword. He saw a few tears run down the corner of the filly’s eye. He loosened his grip something stopped him to mutilate this pony; it could be the age, or it could be her look too. Raphael bit his bloodstained lips. He looked away then decided to comfort her. She for some reason didn’t care he was a human. “Hey little foal…” he looked down to the filly that looked up to him. “What’s your name?” Raphael asked sheathing his sword.

“My name’s Apple Bloom,” the filly answered.

He smiled. “Nice to meet you, I’m Raphael Allmore” he looked around noticing a small hollowed tree just outside the Everfree Forest. “Now, why don’t you go to that hollowed tree over there,” it wasn’t large, and it had nothing around it.

AB nodded and went for the tree. As she walked off Raphael saw a scorched green old pony crawling. Raphael walked to the pony. “H-Help m-me… p-please,” the green scorched mare pleaded.

Raphael smiled this is exactly what he wanted. “Oh, I will, how I will,” he smirked unsheathing his sword. “But, first, you must do something for me…” he manically laughed as the mare’s flesh was burning.

“W-What do I n-need to d-do?” the green old mare begged to know.

He smirked as Crimson his blade raised to the air. “Goodnight…” he said. “Forever…” he spoke softly yet again.

The blade lowered in high speed killing the half-dead mare on impact. The blood was dark red and bits of the green mare left on the steel blade. He smiled as he picked the chard pieces of flesh. He popped it in his mouth chewing termly. He licked his lips getting the excess blood on his mouth. “Hm… must’ve been related to that Applejack,” he remembered the blood, mainly because he just had it an hour ago.

He paid no mind to why that filly wasn’t in her bed. Raphael shrugged. Guess now’s a good time to go to bed. Raphael thought licking and eating the stuff off his razor sharp blade.

He sat in the tree awkwardly next to Apple Bloom. “So, why were you not in your bed?” Raphael asked Apple Bloom.

Apple Bloom rubbed the back of her mane. “I was in a crusaders meeting, and, I sort of lost track of time,” she admitted still rubbing her cherry red mane.

Raphael rolled his eyes. “Okay, I get it… I guess, and why are you so calm about me being a human?” he raised an eyebrow.

“I heard by Cherilee that long ago there were humans all around,” she pat Allmore’s leg.

Raphael understood. “Okay, I get it, why don’t you go to sleep,” he said closing his eyes. “Then… I’ll… go… out,” Raphael was always tired after a day of mutilating.

Raphael’s eyes slowly opened as the day began. He yawned as he pat down his armor. “I’m going to go, see you tonight Apple Bloom,” he said seeing Apple Bloom wake from her deep sleep.

Apple Bloom perked up. “Already, but I gotta get ready for school well, I guess it’s good that mah bags are in the clubhouse,” she admitted getting to her hooves.

“Yes, why don’t you go,” she probably didn’t sleep as the stains of her watery eyes stained most of her face and she was still lightly crying.

“I don’t know if I can,” her eyes watered.

He laughed. “Of course you can,” he said looking to the yellow filly.

AB frowned visibly. “Fine,” she frowned leaving him alone.

Raphael Allmore looked amongst the town. He saw nothing new. Except while walking he saw a cottage. He approached the cottage and pick locked the door. He peaked his head through the door. In the middle of a room was a butter yellow Pegasus nuzzling a rabbit. Allmore smirked as he found the easy victim. He approached the butter yellow Pegasus surprised by the words spoken by the Pegasus. “I knew you’d come, murderer,” the yellow Pegasus spoke in a serious tone. “I knew you’d come, I knew you’d come to good ol’ Fluttershy,” the mare he’d expect to be Fluttershy.

“How do you know me?” he questioned he wasn’t too popular.

Fluttershy smirked evilly. “This is how I know you,” she tossed a few pictures of him over the dead ponies.

“Really and how do you expect to-” with that he leapt from his spot as Fluttershy swung a large sword bigger than anything he’d ever seen! “Whoa dang, where’d you get that?” he questioned the yellow pony holding the large sword.

“Got this a week ago, I call it Sin Maker, it is three pounds of sheer death,” another swing followed her sentence. She raised the blade with ease as did Raphael did the same with Crimson its handle a white figure with black angel wings. Sin Maker and Crimson clanged together repeatedly. No hits were shown. Hit after hit after hit were hitting the swords together. Finally after hours of shattering vases and other items of Fluttershy’s Flutters finally made impact; a hit to through the knee. Raphael clenched his wound with his free hand. He smiled holding Crimson in his other hand. Flutter did something that stroked him as odd. Fluttershy rubbed her hoof along the blade and ran her tongue along her hoof taking any and all blood from her own blade. He slowly got up somehow disgusted even though he’s done that himself.

He cleared his throat feeling his leg begin to bleed as expected. He rose to his legs slowly. “I-I don’t give up easily, Fluttershy,” he said picking up a piece of white cloth he kept in his pocket and tied it around his leg as quickly as he could.

“You ready to continue to lose?” Fluttershy asked raising Sin Maker.

Raphael raised his blade again to the air. “I’m r-ready,” he swayed slightly.

Fluttershy smiled cunningly. “Good,” with that an unexpected event occurred. Sin Maker jolted forward and into Allmore’s other leg.

Allmore screamed in agony. “I… am… the king of Zenofor!” he screamed at the yellow mare, eyelids growing oddly heavy, possibly because of the sudden two wounds to the leg. He fell to the ground. Muttering: “This… is… not… the… end…” soon the last sight was Fluttershy smiling twistedly at him while licking Sin Maker. Thoughts went through his mind. Am I right? Is this not the end? Or am I going to not live to see another day? Guess I knew this would come, just, never thought it would be because of a pony. Goodbye world.

The last words spoken from Fluttershy were: “Goodnight, I’ll wake you when I’m ready.” Then, everything went black. Trapped by Fluttershy and her sword Sin Maker.
