Liquid Thunderby SwerlinChaptersHere we go, I guessOne Year LaterPartner UpLunar StarsHere we go, I guessChapter 1 Hmm, where do I begin? Should I give you an introduction of sorts? Or do I just jump right into the action? While jumping right to it would be way more fun, I think it would be better if you got a full introduction. So anyways, lets begin. My name is Electric Boogaloo.... just kidding. My actual name is Volt. I am of the Pegasus species of equine, and I have a blue coat with a dark blue mane. I come from a long line of Pegasus that were all wonderbolts, so I was kind of a naturally talented flier. My sister, Bright Spot on the other hand was a prodigy, or so my parents said. That was to be expected though, flying was in our blood, success was in our genes. Well, maybe their genes, since I never quite lived up to the potential that my family had expected me to. Despite that, I was special. My cutie mark. It's 2 thunderbolts pointing down. One white, one black. Here's the thing though, I don't really know how exactly I got it, but I do know what preceded the event. It was a day, a nice summer day. Well, nice for almost everyone else, I was sulking over the fact that I had failed my flight test. Something my parents were definitely not happy about. "Are you kidding me? You are supposed to be better than this! Look at your sister, she's a year younger than you and she's already graduated!" Said my father, he clearly looked displeased. "I'm sorry," It was all I could muster, as I took more of the verbal assault by my dad. "Maybe you should let up on him a bit dear?" My mother asked. "No! The boy needs to be disciplined, he's gonna be a future wonderbolt one day!" At that moment, I felt like I had to say something... "What if I don't want to become a wonderbolt?" I asked. For a short moment, silence had befell the room. My mother looked at me, slightly worried. "Go to your room," Father said. "Why?" "Just. Do it." Seeing the anger on his face, and not wanting to deal with that, I quickly ascended to my room. Shortly after reaching my room, I heard yelling, something that was probably a shouting match between my mother and father. My sister wasn't home at the moment. Conveniently enough, she was at a sleepover with her friends, so she wouldn't be back until at least the afternoon. The yelling has gone on and on. I really hated my parents, seeing as I couldn't stand it, I decided to take a fly somewhere, at least. Until the home calmed down. Little did I know, the choice to leave, would change my life forever. As I can recall, it had been at least a mile I had been flying, and the skies got more and more gray as I went along. I hear a clap of thunder. Which for Pegasi, means stop flying. Despite that, I continue on. The next thing I know, a flash of light, my body going through serious pain, then everything just going....well.... black. I wake up. There's a light shining on my face, my head is on a pillow, and I am on a very comfortable bed. The first thing I notice is that my body is wrapped in bandages, my wings being fully covered by them. There's a unicorn in a white suit looking at a clipboard, and that's when I realize that I am in a hospital. The moment of that realization is when I was almost tackled off my bed, red strands of hair obstructing my view, but the red hair undoubtedly belonged to my sister, Bright Spot. "Are you okay? You aren't hurt are you? Me, mom, and dad all came as soon as we heard the news," My sister had said. The very next thing she noticed was what was adorned on my flank. "What's that? A scar?" She said as she started to pick at it, "No... wait, this is a cutie mark! Congratulations! What do you think It means"? I was about to reply when the Doctor decided to chime in. "Do you mind keeping quiet for a bit? As what I'm about to say is something that must be heard," the Doctor said, Bright Spot had immediately piped down. "Volt, was it? You see, I have no idea what's going on, I mean, it's a miracle. Ponies, especially Pegasi don't survive being struck by lightning," said the Unicorn. "All your injuries have been caused by you crashing into what used to be a tree, which luckily for you, had broken your fall, and saved your life," The doc continued, "I must ask you, were you doing anything usual before being struck by lightning?" "I was flying," I replied. "Then I must say, you are one extremely lucky Pegasus, as flying while being struck by lightning only furthers the chances of death" At this point, everyone in the room, including myself, had their jaw slacked. After a moment, the unicorn doctor continued on "You would have died for certain if Rarity hadn't found you and brought you here," "Who?" I replied. "Rarity, she had to go back to the Carousel Boutique to open up shop for the day, that's where you need to go if you want to thank her in person, but for now. You need to rest up for a few days and regain your strength," "I understand," I reply once more. My family says their goodbyes, and school will allow to retake the test once I get better. Now, lets fast forward a week later. My injuries were mostly healed up, except my wings, which still needed a cast, thus I couldn't fly. Once I was released from the hospital, there was really only one thing I wanted to do, and that was thank the pony who had saved my life. I had already known I was in Ponyville, thanks to being inside Ponyville hospital for the past week. I had been to the small town a bunch of times before. Ponyville usually had the best places to have Pegasus races, so I was very familiar with the area, and I knew where I was headed. Once I was at the Carousel Boutique, I had knocked on the door, and when it opened, I saw one of the most beautiful mares I have ever laid my eyes on. "Welcome to the Carousel Boutique! Where I, Rarity, make Ponyville's most fabulous dresses and formal attire!" After the introduction, Rarity immediately recognized me. "Oh my, it's you. How do you feel darling? Are you alright? Rarity asked. "I feel fine, Rarity. My wings just need a cast for the next day or two," I said, "Listen, I wanted to thank you for bringing me to the hospital, you really saved my life. Truly, thank you." "Why it was nothing, I mean, I can't leave someone in the rain to die, you know?" "Heh, yeah, but that also leads to my next question." I nervously shifted in the admittedly comfy couch I was sitting on. "Ask away, dear," Rarity replied. "You see, since I can't fly, I have no way of going back to my home in Cloudsdale, so I was wondering If I could stay with you?" I prepared for the verbal bashing Rarity was about to give me, but I was stunned at her reply. "Sure" "Oh, okay, I understand." As I started to head for the door... "Wait...what?" I looked at Rarity, stunned by her reply. "You heard, of course you can stay here, after all, I am the element of generosity," Rarity beamed. The next couple of days went by normally, Rarity spent most of those days making clothing for her patients, and I spent them watching television. After my wings healed, I once again said goodbye to Rarity, and headed back to Cloudsdale. The trip back to Cloudsdale was really uneventful, all I could think about was that incident with the lightning, and why I wasn't dead, and little did I know. The event with the lightning would change my life forever. One Year LaterChapter 2 One year later..... It had been a year since the incident with the thunder and lightning. Since then, a lot has changed. My sister became a wonderbolt and continued family tradition, My father had passed away due to illness, and I finished school and like most Pegasus, I became a member of the weather team. It didn't pay a particular lot, but enough to put a roof over my head and food to eat. There has also been strange happenings while working with the weather, at certain times, my ears will twitch. For what reason? I didn't know... yet. Now lets take a look at where my new life began. It, or rather, I was in Cloudsdale. I was going to Cloudsdale Memorial Stadium to see a wonderbolts show. On my salary, it wasn't something I could afford to do very often, but since it was my sisters first show, I ended up getting free tickets and a backstage pass from Bright Spot. I went in to the stadium, sat down, and took in my surroundings. There we Pegasus ponies as far as the eye could see. Off all different shapes, colors, and sizes. Yet, of all that. There was one thing that caught my attention the best. Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna. The two fearless rulers of Equestria in Cloudsdale, right now, for a wonderbolts show. Seeing the two regal ponies was simply awe-inspiring. I couldn't stare at them for too long, as the show was about to begin. As they introduced the wonderbolts one by one, nobody cheered louder than I did when they announced my ever so dear sister. There were twists and turns, loopty loops and the crowd, the princesses included, loved every minute of it. When the show was over, I quickly went backstage to meet up with Bright Spot in the hallways. She was currently signing autographs for fans. When she signed the last one, I turned to talk with her. "How'd it feel?" I asked nonchalantly. "It felt GREAT, at first I was totally nervous, but as the show went on, I think I felt more comfortable." She said as she wiped the sweat off her brow. I was about to congratulate her on a job well done, when something very unexpected happened. "Hello there, my little ponies." Celestia and Luna were walking up to me and Bright Spot. "Hello," Luna said, as she gave her regards. "You did a splendid job out there." Celestia said as she congratulated my sister, "And to think that was just your first show, I can sense many great things in your future," "Thank you Princess," My sister, blushing, replied. "And who is this standing next to you?" Celestia asked, obviously referring to me. "Oh, this is my brother, Volt." As Bright Spot introduced me to to the Princess. "Nice to meet you, Princess Celestia." I said to keep up my manners. "Good to meet you too, Volt." She said, looking back to my sister. Oddly enough, Luna just stood there quietly. As my sister and Princess Celestia kept making small talk. I looked around my surroundings. I see that the hallway was empty, save for me, my sister, and the princesses. I looked at Princess Luna. She looked back at me, and gave me a smile. Like she knew something I didn't. Which was more than likely true, as she has been alive for hundreds of years, but this smile felt... different. Like she knew something about me that I didn't know she knew about. Like she was waiting for something. I was snapped out of my thoughts by the voice of Princess Celestia. "Well then, if you must leave. I enjoyed our conversation, Bright Spot," Celestia said. "I did too." My sister replied as she walked away. As soon as as she was out of vision, Princess Celestia spoke up. "Volt, was it?" She asked, "Could you follow me for a bit?" I had no idea what she wanted of me, but there was no way I was going to deny a sun goddess of what she wanted, and to be honest. I was kind of scared, scared out of my mind. "Sure." I replied, trying to not sound as scared as I was. Apparently that didn't work. "No need to be scared, young one." Celestia said as she and her younger sister started to lead me out the hallway. So it was how my mother had said. Mares could smell fear. We went out of the hallway, and out of Cloudsdale Memorial Stadium. We were met outside by the Royal Guard. All of which, were obviously Pegasi. They turned attention to me, and Luna quickly mumbled something into the who I assume was the captain's ear, when she was finished. He nodded and we began to fly off towards Canterlot. The trip towards Equestria's capital city was one that was extremely uneventful. Quiet too, as I was too scared to say anything, for fear of offending the Princesses. Why? I don't really know, nor do I knew why they were taking me to Canterlot. Celestia said there was no need to be scared, but why wouldn't I be? The rulers of an entire country are specifically taking me and me alone to Canterlot. I could only wonder what they were thinking. Soon, we had arrived at our destination. Canterlot, more specifically, Canterlot Castle. I wish you could see the place for yourself. It is massive, and that's just looking at it from the outside, the castle itself is snow white with Gold painted all over the doors, windows and the Columns up front. It was truly a castle fit for a ruler, or rulers. Which would explain the size of the place. I stared in awe, but once again, Celestia snapped me out of it with the sound of her regal voice. "It's truly a great castle, is it not?" She asked, I could only nod as I continued to look at the magnificent palace. "Well then, right this way young man." She said as she and her still quiet sister led me into the castle. Once inside, my jaw once again dropped. The place was as painted white with Gold decor as far as the eye could see, but alas, I wasn't here to sight see. The royal pony sisters began to lead me through the main parts of the castle, which consisted of the dining room, the main hallway, and the eventually the Throne room. Which is where we came to a stop. Feeling brave after I've made it this far, I decided to finally speak up. "So, lets cut to the chase, shall we?" I said, "Why did you bring me here?" Celestia seemed somewhat taken back at first, but her face grew into a sly smile, closed her eyes, and began to speak. "I like the way you think, young one," Celestia continued, "So, I assume you know how you got your cutie mark?" "No, I don't know how I got my cutie mark," I replied. "Well I do," Celestia Continued, "You see, ponies have the inexplicable talent of naming their children after their talents, you see. When you got hit by that lightning-" "Wait," I interrupted her, "How did you know I got struck by lightning?" I asked, totally perplexed by this new discovery. "That's something that I'll save for you another time, Volt." She said. "But..." "But nothing," Celestia said. A stern look now took over her facial features. I quieted down, and let Celestia continue. "Now, as I was saying," Celestia began, "Cutie marks are a sign of a ponies special talent, as I am sure that you know." I nodded and let her continue. "Your special talent Volt, is lightning. When you got hit by that lightning bolt, it...well. Lack for a better word. It fused with you, and you became one, like. It's part of your DNA. Which explains your twitchy ears." She explained. "Now, you can generate lightning through your body. You must use it with great responsibility." She added, with the old cliche at the end. "I see," I replied, showing her I was listening. "Now, I want to ask you something, If I may," Celestia said. "Sure" "You see, with your newly recognized prowess, and flying ability, I would like you to join... an agency, one that's been hidden from the rest of Equestria," Celestia continued, "You'll answer to me and Luna, and only me and Luna. You won't get paid in monetary value, but you'll be allowed to stay in this castle, and most of your expenses will be paid, so. What do you say?" I took the time to think it over, leave my admittedly terrible job for a life of luxury? Well, maybe not all luxury. Since she didn't specify what exactly I would be doing for her, but if she's hand picking me for the job, I must be able to handle this. So, my answer was easy. "I'll do it" I said to Celestia. "Excellent, now. It's getting late, and my duty of putting the sun down can't be held off for any longer. Feel free to sleep in any unoccupied room, I'll send the guards to your old home for your things. Get some rest, as tomorrow, you'll get to meet the ponies you'll be working with. As well as a short meeting with Princess Luna as to what you'll be doing, okay? Celestia had said, as she now started to head towards wherever she went to raise the sun. There was a lot of things going through my mind. What I had just agreed to, my old job with the weather team, and what I would be doing once I got settled, but most of all. Sleep. I quickly trotted into a room upstairs, and slept the rest of the night away. Preparing for the hectic that that would come tomorrow. Partner UpChapter 3 The next day... The suns rays were shining down on me, both waking me up, and indicating that it was morning time. I actually slept really well last night, despite how suddenly my life has changed. Instead of sleeping on a hard, cold mattress. I slept on a warm, plush bed. Which was one benefit I was really going to enjoy. Which brought my mind to the other benefits, I got to stay here for free, with food and the works, and my only bosses are the Princesses. Now, that's great and all, but from personal experience, I knew something could never be this good, without something being really bad. What that was? I have yet to find out, but something tells me that something is soon. I quickly get out of bed, and head for the door. Said door has a note on it. It was from Princess Celestia. It had said to come meet her in her personal room when I was done with breakfast, conveniently enough, there was a map to her personal room on the back of the note. I could agree to that plan, seeing as how I didn't eat anything in the past 24 hours. As I started to head towards the dining room, I noticed that the castle is pretty empty. Except for the occasional maid or two doing morning cleaning that had said hello to me, which I happily returned. Much to my happiness, and surprise. When I got to the dining room, all the food was laid out right for me, hay sandwiches and the works all laid out, just for me apparently. As the dining room was also empty. Something that I thought was pretty weird, but I put that to the back of my mind, as I started to dig in. The food was delicious, my compliments to the chef. Not wanting to keep a Princess waiting, I quickly finish eating and start to head towards Princess Celestia's personal room, the Sanctum of the Sun. Now, Princess Celestia's personal room was way different than any other room in the castle. First, the floor in the throne room was glass. You can't really see it, but it's there. There were also no walls. Just, what looked like bright yellow clouds sweeping by you, coming from all directions. If you tried to touch them, you'll see a ripple emanating from it, as if you were lightly dipping a hoof in water. Finally, there was a yellow/orange light coming from the center of the room, only that it was being somewhat blocked by Princess Celestia herself. "Sweet room you've got." I said, making my presence known. "I know, but lets get to the chase, shall we?" Princess Celestia remarked. As the roles from yesterday has seemingly reversed. "Right, so, what do you got for me?" I asked. Getting ready for whatever was coming next. "You see, you'll be part of well...." Celestia paused, "A secret service. Equestria may seem like a paradise for ponies, and it is. But underneath the service, there are ponies, and other creatures that seek to destroy the peace that I have worked for over a thousand years to achieve. I am a busy Princess, thus I don't have the time to deal with them. That's where you come in. You do as I say, without question, quietly and with discrete. Do you understand me?" "I do." I answered, with very little hesitation "Good." Celestia replies, a satisfied smile now adorning her lips. "Now there are only 7 other ponies that have agreed to this, you'll meet your specific partner in a moment. You will meet the rest later on. Are we clear?" "Yes." I reply once again, feeling my heart racing a bit faster, and some nervousness actually creeping upon me. "Now without further ado, I'd like to introduce to you, Platinum." A gray unicorn mare crept out from the back of Celestia's chair. "Hello there, nice to meet you, Volt." She said with a smile. The first thing I noticed about Platinum was her mane and tail, it was just like her coat, gray, but a bit more, sparkly. She also had nice, vibrant green eyes. She had an straight, unreadable face, as if she was trying to read me, but with a smile too it. She was actually rather a pretty mare, if I do say so myself. Her cutie mark was simply a gray unicorn horn, so I assumed that she was pretty great at doing magic. "It's nice to meet you too Platinum." I greeted back, with a smile of my own. "Nice to see you two getting along so much already," Celestia commented. "Platinum, if you please, I still have a matter to discuss with our friend Volt here," "Of course, your majesty." Platinum replied, exiting the room quietly. Once the door was closed, I turned my attention back to Princess Celestia. "Now that you have met your partner, I have something else for you to do." Celestia said. "What's that?" I asked. It was still the morning time, but I was already pretty tired. "You see, at midnight, I need you to meet Princess Luna. You have your newly realized abilities, and now you need to learn how to use them, and my younger sister is the perfect person to train you with your powers," Celestia said. "I understand," I replied, knowing why this would have to be done. "Now go rest up." Celestia said, "You can't be tired when it's time to train." "I will," I responded, wanting to get some shut-eye. After leaving the room, I took my time going back to my room, to sleep, and to ultimately get ready for a date with Princess Luna, but before that would happen. I ran back into Platinum on my way back. "Good luck with Princess Luna rookie, you'll need it" Platinum said, with a somewhat smug smile on her face. "Heh, my first official day working, and I've already got a nickname, but I wouldn't be so smug. You haven't met a person like me before." I said, confidence evident in my voice. "I could say the same thing to you rook." Platinum said, walking by me, but not before wiggling her tail across my face. Earning a blush from me. The rest of the trot went by pretty fast, as I reached my room. One of Luna's night guards were waiting for me. He explained where exactly I would be meeting the Lunar Princess. Which was in the Canterlot Royal Garden. Which was at the back of the castle. After that little run-in. I went into my room and got some more shut eye. It was around 7 PM when I woke up. Waking up at night was not a problem for me, as I used to work with the night-time weather squad. Since there were a few hours before I needed to meet Princess Luna, I decided to fully explore the castle. There were guards and maids doing what they do. One thing I noticed was that the walls were decorated a certain way in certain areas. The front of the castle was golden and white, the back of the castle, near the gardens was purple and dark blue. The color coding with the Princess was a really nice touch in my opinion. And at the Northeastern side, the walls were pink with hearts running across. I couldn't pinpoint what that belonged too, but I put it aside as it was time to meet Princess Luna. Lunar StarsChapter 4 Canterlot Gardens. It was a beautiful setting. Roses and Daises, along with various other types of flowers as far as the eye could see. Yet, the setting was not as beautiful as the mare standing right in the middle of it. Princess Luna, ruler of the stars. Her majestic ethereal mane and her captivating green eyes both glistened brilliantly in the night sky. "Good evening, Volt," Princess Luna said, acknowledging my presence. "I trust that you are ready for what I have planned for us this evening?" "Yes, Princess Luna," I reply. "No need to call me Princess Luna young one," Princess Luna chimed. "You may work for me and my sister now, but there's no more need for such formalities, just call me Luna." Luna explains, "But for now, lets cut to the chase on why you are here." Luna paused for the briefest of moments. "As my sister explained before, we will need to learn how you powers work, and also you will need to learn how to control it. Now, do you feel some sort of odd energy inside of you?" Luna asked. I closed my eyes and searched for an unfamiliar feeling. Unfortunately, I could find it. "Try harder," Luna told me yet again. I tried once again for the unfamiliar feeling, once again. I was unsuccessful. "Try. Harder." Luna said, quickly losing her patience. Once again, I tried, and yet again, I was unsuccessful. The trying and failing had continued on for the next few hours. Every time I failed, Luna would only say try harder. I was completely exhausted, but the words kept ringing. Try harder, try harder. They seemed to repeat themselves constantly within my head. I just wanted to do this and get it over with, if only just to shut Princess Luna up. Once again, I had failed. "Try. HARDER." Luna basically yelled this time. That was the trigger point. I got so mad at her, I wanted to just explode at her and tell her to stuff it, but then. This, this.... this thing. I felt it coursing through my body, it hurt, but I let it happen. I felt it, and I let it go. Then...BOOM. A loud shock wave quickly caused me to open my eyes. I was absolutely stunned. The Canterlot Gardens didn't quite look like this when I first stepped out into there. Flowers, and trees. Burnt and decimated. Some of them on fire, and Princess Luna. Shockingly unharmed, stood there in the midst of all the destruction I laid at wake and gave me a hug and a smile. "Aha, you see? I knew you could do it," Luna said. "I hoped it would be a little less destructive, but you did it none the less." Luna continued. "I hope you aren't mad at me for being so hard on you, but I was only doing it because I knew you could do it." Luna said. I could muster a nod due to sheer fatigue. "Despite your little display causing more questions than it solved, I think I can figure a few things out," Luna continued. "Now, go get some rest, and in a few hours, I'll send for you so I can run some tests. See you then!" Luna chimed, happiness evident in her voice. I barely made it back to my room, The alluring aura of sleep was the only thing driving me, so I plopped down on my bed, and was instantly overcome by the sandpony. The suns rays were shining down on me, both waking me up, and indicating that it was morning time. I was feeling pretty sore after the events that occurred earlier in the morning. I was hurting, but hey. I was standing on my feet. As I walked out of my door, I ran into my partner, Platinum. "Hi rook, how'd it go with Luna? Sleep well?" Platinum asked in a flurry of almost incomprehensible questions due to the pure speed of which she was speaking. "Hi Platinum, It went well, and I did, surprisingly sleep extremely well," I answered. "That's all great news, Platinum replied. "Anyways, I'm here to tell you that Princess Luna wants you down in the Laboratory after breakfast. Follow me." Platinum said as she started to lead me towards the lab. After an ordinary breakfast... The trek to the lab was actually a pretty long one. In total, the castle had 10 floors. My room was on the 3rd floor, and the lab was all the way downstairs. As a matter of fact, it was in the basement. The basement hadn't looked like anything I imagined. It was kept pretty neat and clean, just like the rest of the castle, but then again, I should thought it would be clean, seeing as it is royal property. There was one thing I expected to see here that was not here, so I decided to ask Platinum about it. "Uh, Platinum?" I asked, oddly feeling slightly nervous. "Yes, Rook?" She answered. "Uhh, aren't the Canterlot dungeons supposed to be around here somewhere?" I asked. Platinum stopped her walking for a moment, but resumed after a moment. "Well, the dungeons aren't actually in the castle, it's on the other said of Canterlot Mountains, why do wanna know?" "No reason," I said back. Platinum stopped and looked at me strangely, but once again kept walking after a moment. After a short while, we reach our destination. The Laboratory. The lab was an above-average sized room, completely white, but almost empty. With only 2 unicorns in labcoats, and Princess Luna, also wearing a labcoat. Tinkering around with a chamber type machine in the back of the room. "There you are Volt, Platinum," Luna says, without even needing to turn around. "I've brought Volt like you've requested, Princess," Platinum says. "Is there anything else you need of me?" "No, Platinum, that'll be enough for now. Enjoy the rest of your day." Luna says, still focusing on the machine. "Okay Luna, Thank you." Platinum says, leaving the room. To go do whatever she does. Silence filled the room as Luna, seemingly restlessly, continued to tinker with the machine. "Sooo, whatcha need me for?" I asked, hoping to actually get her attention. "I need you to tell me something," Luna replied, still not taking her eyes away from the machine. "Tell you what?" I asked. "As I recall, you weren't able to trigger your powers for quite a while, then all of a sudden, your powers surge out, and almost completely destroy the garden. There had to be a trigger. Was there anything different that time, then the times before?" Luna asked. "Well, you were kinda yelling at me, and I was exhausted, and I guess I sorta got mad?" I said, with uneasiness in my voice. "Hmm, I see," Luna pondered, "I have an theory I want to test." Luna then pushed a button, and the door on the machine opened. "Step inside, if you will. This machine is usually for measuring the power of a unicorns magic, I have modified it to hopefully be able to measure your power. Assuming that your power works like a unicorns magic." I stepped inside. Luna pressed the same button, causing the door to close, encasing me inside. "Okay now," Luna said, after tinkering with the machine a bit more, could you replicate the feeling you had? Instead of searching for it, I want you to feel it, feeling it surging through you." I did as she told me. I almost instantly remembered what happened the previous night, the way she was yelling, the feeling of exhaustion. The way it got me so mad. I felt the same thing I felt last night, and just like last night, I let it course through my veins and let it out with a roar. After a minute of looking at the results, Luna had grown a smile. "So it's just as I thought," She said. "Volt. Your powers are controlled by emotion. The more you feel, the more energy you release." Luna studied the results further. "Okay, so. Rest up and meet me again at midnight. Now that I know where your power is coming from, It'll be easier for me to teach how to use your powers," Luna explained. "I understand." I said, as Luna opened the chamber door and let me out. I left the laboratory and I shortly entered the main room. The first thing I noticed was that there was a maid cleaning. For some reason, seeing that maid makes me go back to think about my life before all of this. You know, it was quite a drastic change. I used to work at a weather factory, I was a pretty average Pegasus, and. I guess I was just a whole ton of ordinary, but now, I have to forget all of that and move on. I didn't really have much friends before. I didn't have any social problems, I just liked keeping to myself, but everypony could use more friends, and why not start with the mare I work with? I had time before I had to go meet Princess Luna, so why not get to know Platinum a bit better? It took some time searching, but I eventually found Platinum on the 4th floor balcony. "Hey, Platinum," I said. I must have surprised her, as she jerked up from her position of leaning over the balcony. "Oh, it's you. Hey Rook." She answered, after regaining her bearings. "Listen, I wanted to ask you, if you wanted to go out," I nervously asked. Platinum, raised an eyebrow, confusion evident on her face. "I-I mean, not like a date or anything, just.. get to know each other better? I mean, were gonna be partners and stuff," I quickly explained with a blush probably on my face, but when I opened my eyes, Platinum wasn't there anymore. She was actually behind me, and with a smile on her face. She only said two words. "Lets go."
Here we go, I guessChapter 1 Hmm, where do I begin?
"Lets go."
