The night of apples and rainbows
Beginning of the night
Braeburn looked around. He was at the Galloping Motel, earning its name by being constructed by earth ponies only. There was a party going in at the large bar they had, and even though it was only the first half hour of the party, most ponies were already drunk. He looked around nervously again. He felt like this was only for the party ponies, and he wasn't sure he was exactly on of them. He wondered why he was even there.
"Havenagoodtime?"
That mumble came from a drunk, light blue pegasus with a navy blue mane.
Of course.
Soarin was the reason. This friend of Braeburn's was always daring other stallions, gladly taking dares himself. And this Wonderbolt insisted Braeburn would come. Soarin had nagged him about being single, and going on about the sexy mares that would be there. He sighed.
"Errr... Sure?" He answered the pegasus with an uneasy look.
"Well, I've seen Fluer de lis lookin' at cha..."
Soarin's voice faded of as he saw a flash of.. Rainbow? Rainbowdash? What was his crush doing here? All these thoughts jumbled in his head, but went away as telling a dog he was gettin a bath when Soarin nudged him, resulting him falling off the chair.
"What was that for?" Demanded Braeburn.
Soarin shrugged. "You weren't paying attention."
"Well, I'm goin over to see Rainbow."
"Wait, Rainbow? As in Rainbowdash?"
"Yes, Rainbowdash!"
"Dude, go get her." Soarin grinned, and pushed him over.
Braeburn rolled his eyes, and trotted to the blue mare.
