Defying Nature
The Offer And The Note (Edited Again!)
Load Full StoryNext ChapterFire burned and grew around two wolves, one being a large black, grey, and red wolf with large claws and curved horns in front of her ears, the other a black-and-white wolf with unusually deep green eyes and an ambidextrous tail.
"Give up Felixia," the dark wolf growled in a deep, feminine voice that was laced with hatred, intent to kill, and laughter. "You can't win no matter what!" The wolf grinned evilly, showing off her many rows of sharp, serrated teeth. "If you kill me, you'll kill yourself dear Felixia, we are bonded as such! You should just join my side of this war and forget about your so-called friends, we would win together."
"I will never give up, or abandon my friends Demonic! I will defeat you here and now to stop the terror you inflict on others! No matter what the cost!" Demonic clicked her tongue at Felixia while shaking her head slowly side-to-side.
"But as long as you live, I live and if you try to hurt me, you hurt yourself! There is no answer for you!" The black-and-white she-wolf glanced down at the ground and studied a large piece of glass.
"That's where you're wrong," she said quietly. "I realized that the only was to kill you and save everyone I care about," the evil wolf looked at Felixia with an mixed expression of disbelief and horror. "Is to kill myself." Felixia quickly used her dexterous tail to grab the sharp piece of stained glass from the floor, the jagged edge glinting wickedly in the firelight and showing off the wolf's deep green eyes. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, not even realizing that Demonic was sprinting towards her with her unearthly speed.
"NO!" Demonic yelled before throwing herself desperately in front of Felixia as the shard came down.
One crimson drop of blood fell to the floor.

Who is Demonic?
3 Months Before . . . . .
Felixia sighed and drew small circles on the stone ground with her paw, the stone shaving flying up into the air and away from her paw. The wolf turned her ears toward a small noise and looked directly at an odd-looking pony with black fur and red eyes. "What do you want Deadly? I thought I told you I wanted to be alone." Felixia said in an annoyed tone as she continued tracing the circles, her claw getting deeper into the dark brown stone. Deadly trotted over and sat down right next to Felixia, quietly watching her draw the circles.
"I want to know what's wrong." The pony said at last, his deep voice bouncing off of the she-wolf's walls. Felixia snorted and began adding more lines to her creation.
"Nothing is wrong Deadly," she said with an annoyed tone. Her claw sunk deeper into the stone while Deadly sighed and looked her right in the eye.
"Felixia, I know something's wrong with you today. Your even more depressed than usual!" His joking tone made the she-wolf smile for a moment before she frowned one more.
"I - I'm just thinking about something okay?"
"What are you thinking about?" Felixia snorted at his comment.
"You know very well that you could just read my mind to figure out what I'm thinking," she said while adding some more lines to her drawing in the stone. Deadly gave her a small smile.
"But I want to hear you say what's wrong." He glanced at her carving in the stone. " Wow Felixia . . . that's really good." The she-wolf glanced at her carving again before giggling quietly. It was a picture of herself standing on a real grassy hill with the wind blowing through her black-and-white fur.
"I do my best work when I don't pay attention to what I'm doing." She said, hoping to get off of the subject they were currently on. No such luck.
"Come on Kitty-Kat tell me what's wrong." Felixia growled playfully.
"Don't call me Kitty-Kat," she warned the pony before the two shared a laugh before Deadly gave her a look that told her to tell him what was wrong. Felixia sighed.
"Deadly, I want to actually go outside and meet some ponies." She said quietly. Deadly pouted.
"But I'm a pony!"
"I mean actual ponies, not demons like us." The she-wolf started dragging her paw across the brown stone again.
"It would be nice to go outside," Deadly agreed. "But no all of us can look as normal as possible like you Kitty-Kat." The wolf sighed.
"I know, I know." Then she frowned at a last realization. "Did you just call me Kitty-Kat again?" The black pony looked back and forth with a panicked expression on his face.
"Uhh . . . noooo?" Felixia face-pawed.
"I swear Deadly . . ." She warned the black pony again. He smiled and stood up.
"I have to get back to my room Felixia, I'll see you later?" She smiled at him.
"I'll see you later." There was a loud noise as the stone slab for her room closed. Felixia looked out the window in the corner of her room and gazed at her home, Tartarus. The demonic world was bathed in the Eternal red light that bathed the city, while the occasional crash, or explosion came from the city below. The demon she-wolf tore her vision away from the window and trotted over to her bed, a mound of brown and the rare green sheets she owned.
Closing her eyes, Felixia slowly began to drift to sleep before one final thought came to her tired mind. 'I wish I could live on the surface."
"Why didn't you say so in the first place fur ball?" The she-wolf snapped open her eyes and found herself looking at a very odd demon/pony.
'He seems to be a collection of random animals all morphed into one figure,' Felixia thought to herself. The figure rolled his eyes.
"Hey no need to be rude!" He cleared his throat. "I am Discord, you've probably heard of me before, and I'm going to grant your wish to go to the surface!" Felixia's eyes widened.
"Really? You can get me to the surface?" She asked. Discord smiled at the she-wolf.
"Of course my dear! Just tell me when you wish to leave." He began examining his nails while looking extremely bored. The she-wolf frowned and thought to herself, using a mind trick to block out the odd creature from her thoughts.
'Can I really go? Is this a trick?' Felixia glanced at Discord, who smiled at her and waved at her with his paw. Holding a random plant. Felixia blinked and shook her head to clear it. "Well my dear, do you want to come?" He held out his eagle claw hand to the demon she-wolf, waiting for her response.
She glanced at the open paw. 'Can I really go?" All of a sudden, Discord was in a suit tapping a watch.
"Come on, come on! I don't have all day!" He held out his paw again. Felixia took a deep breath and took the paw. The last thing she remembered was Discord's face as she was whisked off to the surface and out of her old demonic home Tartarus.

Felixia the she-wolf demon
Pop! Felixia stumbled at the sudden stop and fell head-first into the ground. She growled in annoyance and quickly stood up to confront Discord, only to find a small note on the ground. She walked over to it and began to read the extremely crazy handwriting.
Dear Fur Ball,
The she-wolf growled again.
I have dropped you off in the area known as the Everfree Forest. As soon as you finish this letter and look to the left, you will see a cave that has been suited to your needs. Hope you enjoy the rest of forever!
Discord.
P.S. This letter will explode in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
All of a sudden, the letter burst into flames and disappeared. The demon she-wolf turned her head to the left and found the cave that had been promised, while slowly shaking her head side to side in disbelief. 'Discord is a really crazy person.' She thought before climbing into the bed made for her and falling asleep immediately.
Twilight's Library. . . . . .
A young alicorn was yawning and stretching her new wings in exhaustion. 'Man,' She thought to herself. 'What a crazy day of studying.' she yawned once more before there was a loud Crack! and a small note appeared in front of her.
Dear Felixia the demon she-wolf,
Twilight was immediately awake and staring at the small note.
I hope you find your stay in the Everfree Forest to be better than your old home Tartarus.
"WHAT?!" The alicorn yelled, waking up her faithful assistant Spike in the process.
The cave I have prepared for you is quite nice, and it's around the mountain caves if you have trouble finding them. Please be good and don't alert the pony population with your presence.

"AHHHHHH! A DEMON SHE-WOLF HAS ESCAPED TARTARUS!!!!!!!!!" Twilight screamed. "SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!!!" The young drake was currently covering his ears, before uncovering them and saluting.
"What do you need Twi?" He asked.
"Go alert the other Elements Spike! We have to find this demon!" Spike frowned.
"Everypony is already asleep Twi." The alicorn frowned and sighed.
"Fine. We'll tell them tomorrow. First let's go to sleep so we can have as much energy as possible for tommorow." She jumped into her bed and quickly turned off the light, listening to Spike crawl into his bed before they both drifted into an uneasy sleep.
