Inside Felixia's Mind & Meeting The Forms

Previous Chapter

Felixia slowly opened her eyes and glanced around the black room she stood in. 'Wait a minute,' she thought warily. 'This isn't the Split . . .' Slowly, she got to her paws before turning around, searching for any signs of life. "Hello?" She called . "Is anyone here?" There was a small, but loud, giggle that seemed to echo through the room.

"Of course we're here Felixia! You just can't see us!" Another giggle escaped from the unseen figure, making the black-and-white she-wolf shuffle nervously.

"Okay . . . way to creepy to be the Split. Maybe I'm asleep?" Her voice had a tinge of annoyance that was noticeable as it was reflected throughout the room. Suddenly, a pure white she-wolf with long, slender, white wings stepped out from behind the curtain of nothingness, her muzzle contorted with confusion.

"The Split?" She asked in the same voice that Felixia heard not more than a moment ago. "Is that what you call the interdenominational pocket of space that was created for you where you watch your demonic forms every time you find a new form, get extremely angry and lose control, or get knocked out?" Her voice gave off an edge of confusion while frowning in thought . "Why do you call it the Split?"

Felixia sighed, not because she was tired or annoyed, only because she was relieved to see the figure who was speaking. "I call it the Split because I get "split" from my body every time I go there. Understand?" She nodded her head in understanding.

"Oh! That's really clever!" Felixia smiled for a moment before frowning.

"Hey, how do you know about that anyway? And who are you exactly?" The winged wolf smiled at her again.

"I'm Feather, or more specifically, I'm one of your forms." And the gears in Felixia's mind shut off. 'Whaaaaaaaaat?' There was a small sigh coming from the large blanket of darkness that still covered everything that could be considered a background of a sort.

"Feather, the forms she didn't know about already weren't supposed to come out . . ." The speaker said to the white wolf.

"We went over this Feather," another voice, maybe slightly higher in pitch and carried a swift speaking pace while still being slightly feminine, chastised Feather. "No coming out until she found you! That was the rule of this meeting with her anyway!"

"Quiet both of you!" Snapped another female voice., one that Felixia actually recognized. "Let's just hurry this up!" Another figure stepped out of the blanketing darkness, her being a dark brown she-wolf that seemed to be wearing spiked and decorated armor. Stone smiled sheepishly. "Sorry Felixia, this is the first time for a lot of us to finally meet you. Feather," One glare shot across to the wolf was noted. "Just couldn't help herself." A sigh escaped her muzzle. Oh well, let's just get on with the meeting. Everyone ready?"

"Yes!" Said a collection of voices.

"No I have to go to the bathroom. . ." A voice said from the darkness that separated Felixia from the speaker. Stone glared into the dark void.

"Quill, this is no time for jokes." The invisible voice giggled in response. Stone finally turned her gaze to Felixia, her green eyes meeting the demon she-wolf's. "Sorry about this Felixia, but we all had to warn you about something."

Felixia frowned in return. "Warn me about what exactly?" Stone sighed.

"We're not exactly able to tell you yet . . ." A loud thudding sound came from behind Felixia, prompting her to turn around and be greeted by another one of her forms.

"If you couldn't tell her yet, why did you bring her here!" Skull snapped at Stone, the clack of her teeth making an echo throughout the room-like place. The armored she-wolf glared at the skeleton.

"Excuse me for trying!"

"Oh? Well think it through first before you act Water." Stone's eye twitched.

"It's Stone you idiot! Not Water! That's Tigress's nickname." Skull scowled.

"You're the idiot."

"Twit."

"Weakling."

"Annoyance."

"Sorry excuse for a demon!"

Why you . . ."

Felixia suddenly got the feeling that all the others watching them throw insults at one another were moving their heads back and forth like they were watching a game of tennis. "Okay then!" Felixia said while standing between both demons, not wanting to see a fight break out between them. "Is there anything else you need? I'd really like to get back to the Split . . ." Suddenly the white she-wolf was standing on top of Felixia, making her yelp in surprise.

"Well we have to give you a warning first Felixia! Then you can go, although I'd hate to see what Soundwave did to that Ursa Major." She shuddered at the thought.

Felixia gave off a loud sigh. "Well what's the warning?" All three demon wolves got very still for the moment.

"Beware of the one who is different than everyone else, for he may bring you pain and the downfall of everyone by doing one thing." Skull said ominously, making the black-and-white she-wolf frown in confusion.

"Beware of the one who is different? What is tha-"

"Sorry!" Feather chirped happily, cutting Felixia off. "That's all we can tell you, so, bye!" The black world rushed away from Felixia, but she heard one more part come from Skull as she was taken away.

"Be careful. . ."

She woke up surrounded by ash.
