//-------------------------------------------------------// Defying Nature -by Lady_Facepalm- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Offer And The Note (Edited Again!) //-------------------------------------------------------// The Offer And The Note (Edited Again!) Fire burned and grew around two wolves, one being a large black, grey, and red wolf with large claws and curved horns in front of her ears, the other a black-and-white wolf with unusually deep green eyes and an ambidextrous tail. "Give up Felixia," the dark wolf growled in a deep, feminine voice that was laced with hatred, intent to kill, and laughter. "You can't win no matter what!" The wolf grinned evilly, showing off her many rows of sharp, serrated teeth. "If you kill me, you'll kill yourself dear Felixia, we are bonded as such! You should just join my side of this war and forget about your so-called friends, we would win together." "I will never give up, or abandon my friends Demonic! I will defeat you here and now to stop the terror you inflict on others! No matter what the cost!" Demonic clicked her tongue at Felixia while shaking her head slowly side-to-side. "But as long as you live, I live and if you try to hurt me, you hurt yourself! There is no answer for you!" The black-and-white she-wolf glanced down at the ground and studied a large piece of glass. "That's where you're wrong," she said quietly. "I realized that the only was to kill you and save everyone I care about," the evil wolf looked at Felixia with an mixed expression of disbelief and horror. "Is to kill myself." Felixia quickly used her dexterous tail to grab the sharp piece of stained glass from the floor, the jagged edge glinting wickedly in the firelight and showing off the wolf's deep green eyes. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, not even realizing that Demonic was sprinting towards her with her unearthly speed. "NO!" Demonic yelled before throwing herself desperately in front of Felixia as the shard came down. One crimson drop of blood fell to the floor. https://camo.derpicdn.net/bd6e1a8386e176ed7e3b3bdc85050985a75724b7?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffc00.deviantart.net%2Ffs71%2Fi%2F2010%2F074%2Fa%2Fa%2FDemon_wolf_by_NadineW.jpg Who is Demonic? 3 Months Before . . . . . Felixia sighed and drew small circles on the stone ground with her paw, the stone shaving flying up into the air and away from her paw. The wolf turned her ears toward a small noise and looked directly at an odd-looking pony with black fur and red eyes. "What do you want Deadly? I thought I told you I wanted to be alone." Felixia said in an annoyed tone as she continued tracing the circles, her claw getting deeper into the dark brown stone. Deadly trotted over and sat down right next to Felixia, quietly watching her draw the circles. "I want to know what's wrong." The pony said at last, his deep voice bouncing off of the she-wolf's walls. Felixia snorted and began adding more lines to her creation. "Nothing is wrong Deadly," she said with an annoyed tone. Her claw sunk deeper into the stone while Deadly sighed and looked her right in the eye. "Felixia, I know something's wrong with you today. Your even more depressed than usual!" His joking tone made the she-wolf smile for a moment before she frowned one more. "I - I'm just thinking about something okay?" "What are you thinking about?" Felixia snorted at his comment. "You know very well that you could just read my mind to figure out what I'm thinking," she said while adding some more lines to her drawing in the stone. Deadly gave her a small smile. "But I want to hear you say what's wrong." He glanced at her carving in the stone. " Wow Felixia . . . that's really good." The she-wolf glanced at her carving again before giggling quietly. It was a picture of herself standing on a real grassy hill with the wind blowing through her black-and-white fur. "I do my best work when I don't pay attention to what I'm doing." She said, hoping to get off of the subject they were currently on. No such luck. "Come on Kitty-Kat tell me what's wrong." Felixia growled playfully. "Don't call me Kitty-Kat," she warned the pony before the two shared a laugh before Deadly gave her a look that told her to tell him what was wrong. Felixia sighed. "Deadly, I want to actually go outside and meet some ponies." She said quietly. Deadly pouted. "But I'm a pony!" "I mean actual ponies, not demons like us." The she-wolf started dragging her paw across the brown stone again. "It would be nice to go outside," Deadly agreed. "But no all of us can look as normal as possible like you Kitty-Kat." The wolf sighed. "I know, I know." Then she frowned at a last realization. "Did you just call me Kitty-Kat again?" The black pony looked back and forth with a panicked expression on his face. "Uhh . . . noooo?" Felixia face-pawed. "I swear Deadly . . ." She warned the black pony again. He smiled and stood up. "I have to get back to my room Felixia, I'll see you later?" She smiled at him. "I'll see you later." There was a loud noise as the stone slab for her room closed. Felixia looked out the window in the corner of her room and gazed at her home, Tartarus. The demonic world was bathed in the Eternal red light that bathed the city, while the occasional crash, or explosion came from the city below. The demon she-wolf tore her vision away from the window and trotted over to her bed, a mound of brown and the rare green sheets she owned. Closing her eyes, Felixia slowly began to drift to sleep before one final thought came to her tired mind. 'I wish I could live on the surface." "Why didn't you say so in the first place fur ball?" The she-wolf snapped open her eyes and found herself looking at a very odd demon/pony. 'He seems to be a collection of random animals all morphed into one figure,' Felixia thought to herself. The figure rolled his eyes. "Hey no need to be rude!" He cleared his throat. "I am Discord, you've probably heard of me before, and I'm going to grant your wish to go to the surface!" Felixia's eyes widened. "Really? You can get me to the surface?" She asked. Discord smiled at the she-wolf. "Of course my dear! Just tell me when you wish to leave." He began examining his nails while looking extremely bored. The she-wolf frowned and thought to herself, using a mind trick to block out the odd creature from her thoughts. 'Can I really go? Is this a trick?' Felixia glanced at Discord, who smiled at her and waved at her with his paw. Holding a random plant. Felixia blinked and shook her head to clear it. "Well my dear, do you want to come?" He held out his eagle claw hand to the demon she-wolf, waiting for her response. She glanced at the open paw. 'Can I really go?" All of a sudden, Discord was in a suit tapping a watch. "Come on, come on! I don't have all day!" He held out his paw again. Felixia took a deep breath and took the paw. The last thing she remembered was Discord's face as she was whisked off to the surface and out of her old demonic home Tartarus. https://camo.derpicdn.net/123c49d6480be2c2cc291f484064099a54a12391?url=http%3A%2F%2Flindawolf.5mp.eu%2Fhonlapkepek%2Flindawolf%2FZ0WDHbxtur%2Fnagy%2Fwolfehfelix.jpg Felixia the she-wolf demon Pop! Felixia stumbled at the sudden stop and fell head-first into the ground. She growled in annoyance and quickly stood up to confront Discord, only to find a small note on the ground. She walked over to it and began to read the extremely crazy handwriting. Dear Fur Ball, The she-wolf growled again. I have dropped you off in the area known as the Everfree Forest. As soon as you finish this letter and look to the left, you will see a cave that has been suited to your needs. Hope you enjoy the rest of forever! Discord. P.S. This letter will explode in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . All of a sudden, the letter burst into flames and disappeared. The demon she-wolf turned her head to the left and found the cave that had been promised, while slowly shaking her head side to side in disbelief. 'Discord is a really crazy person.' She thought before climbing into the bed made for her and falling asleep immediately. Twilight's Library. . . . . . A young alicorn was yawning and stretching her new wings in exhaustion. 'Man,' She thought to herself. 'What a crazy day of studying.' she yawned once more before there was a loud Crack! and a small note appeared in front of her. Dear Felixia the demon she-wolf, Twilight was immediately awake and staring at the small note. I hope you find your stay in the Everfree Forest to be better than your old home Tartarus. "WHAT?!" The alicorn yelled, waking up her faithful assistant Spike in the process. The cave I have prepared for you is quite nice, and it's around the mountain caves if you have trouble finding them. Please be good and don't alert the pony population with your presence. Signed, Anonymous "AHHHHHH! A DEMON SHE-WOLF HAS ESCAPED TARTARUS!!!!!!!!!" Twilight screamed. "SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!!!" The young drake was currently covering his ears, before uncovering them and saluting. "What do you need Twi?" He asked. "Go alert the other Elements Spike! We have to find this demon!" Spike frowned. "Everypony is already asleep Twi." The alicorn frowned and sighed. "Fine. We'll tell them tomorrow. First let's go to sleep so we can have as much energy as possible for tommorow." She jumped into her bed and quickly turned off the light, listening to Spike crawl into his bed before they both drifted into an uneasy sleep. Author's Note Yay! First chapter! Don't worry I'm posting the next chapter really soon. //-------------------------------------------------------// Meeting Fluttershy //-------------------------------------------------------// Meeting Fluttershy Felixia awoke to the sound of a soft spoken voice. 'Wait a voice?!' She thought before bolting upright in her small, bed-like nest. At the mouth of the cave, there was a small yellow pony, or a pegasus, who appeared to be speaking with a bird. "Look Mrs. Bluejay," the pegasus began saying to the bird. "I know your frightened and everything but I'm sure that the umm . . wolf is very kind." Felixia raised her eyebrows and stared at the pegasus. The bluejay chirped again. 'Yes I will. Bye Mrs. Bluejay!" The pegasus waved her hoof to the bird as it flew away and turned around, finally noticing that the she-wolf was awake. "Oh! Hi there! My name's Fluttershy, what is yours?" The mare had walked up to her and sat down quietly. "I am Felixia." The she-wolf responded. Fluttershy was extremely stunned. "You-you can s-speak Equestria?! Oh my that is just so wonderful . . I- I just don't know what to say!" The pegasus mare had flown into the air and had a giant smile on her face. Felixia rolled her eyes. "How about you start with explaining why you're in my new home?" The mare stopped flying and stood in front of the demon she-wolf. "Oh right. Well it all started last night when some of the animals started complaining about something . . . . ." Flashback . . . . . . . Fluttershy was startled by a loud sound of wings, paws, and fur as her house was flooded with many more animals than usual. She glanced at all of the familiar and unfamiliar animal faces. "Oh my goodness! What's wrong?!" She cried before all of them started speaking at once. "There's a wolf living near my chicks!" A bird cried. "It took my cave . . ." a bear lowered its' head in sadness. "Get it out!" All of the animal's cried together, shaking the small cottage in the process. "Calm down everypony! Please?" The animals slowly quieted down for a moment, prompting the timid pegasus to speak. "Has this um . . . wolf actually done anything wrong? I thought we all learned not to judge others by their looks!" There was a collective blink from all the animals and the sound of paws and wings hitting foreheads. Fluttershy smiled. "Why don't you all go home and rest for a while? I'll go say hi to this new animal tomorrow!" "Okay Fluttershy," the animals all sighed before getting back to their homes. "Well, I'll admit that was quite amusing," a voice said behind the pegasus. She jumped in fright before turning around and frowning at the figure laying on her couch. "Discord," She began. "I really hate being scared!" Discord sighed. "I'm sorry dear Fluttershy, can you ever forgive me?" He looked at Fluttershy with an extremely guilty look plastered on his face. "Of course I forgive you. That's what friends do." The chaos god smiled in response. "I hope you get to meet my friend tomorrow, I mean, she was the one I left in the Everfree Forest." "What?!" "Don't worry, don't worry!" He has waving his paw's in the air. "She's that new wolf that all of those animals were talking about. Oh yes she's very nice Fluttershy." The pegasus mare blinked. "Wh- Where does she live? I mean where does she stay right now?" Discord smiled. "She lives in that cave near that old castle. The one you went to when you defeated that old bat Nightmare whatever." "Really?" "Yup. Really really. Now I'm going to bed now. Night." There was a loud Crack! and Discord disappeared. Flashback End . . . . . . . . . "And that's how I found you!" The pegasus mare said while smiling at the she-wolf. Felixia frowned for a moment before showing off a giant grin. "You seriously found me that way?" Disbelief laced Felixia's voice. "Fluttershy nodded. "Yes I did. Oh my gosh I can't get over the fact that you can speak Equestrian! Were you born with the ability or did you learn it? Are you related to Timberwolves? How do you keep your coat of fur so soft?" "Gah! Too many questions!" The pegasus hid behind her pink mane. "Oh I'm sorry, I'm just so exited that you can talk and that I found another new animal friend. I hope your not mad at me . . ." Felixia face-pawed. "I'm not mad, just a little overwhelmed that's all. I will answer your other questions though." The she-wolf took a deep breath. "Yes I was born with the ability to talk. What the heck is a Timberwolf, and my fur always looks like this."Felixia mentally frowned. 'Okay so technically I wasn't born and technically my fur doesn't stay the same when I change forms but she didn't ask for the whole truth.' "Oh wow that's amazing," the yellow mare said with large eyes. Felixia smiled again before she realized something. "Am I really your new friend that quickly?" She whispered. "Oh I hope that you think of me as your new friend, it's just that all animals are my friends and, well, your just so nice." She hid behind her mane again causing Felixia to snicker. "Don't worry Fluttershy, I think you're my . . . . friend too." The mare smiled widely before turning around to look at the sunset. 'Wait sunset? I thought it was morning!' Felixia thought as she saw her new pony friend's expression when she saw the setting sun. "Oh my goodness! I didn't realize it had gotten so late! I'm sorry Felixia but I have to get home to feed my animals." The she-wolf nodded. "It's okay Fluttershy, I understand." "Can I come by tomorrow?" Felixia hesitated. 'Can I let her?' She debated for about 3 second before deciding on an answer. "I guess that would be okay . . ." Fluttershy beamed before quickly flying off toward her home. "Bye!" She called. Twilight's Library . . . . . . . "Girls where's Fluttershy? She should be here!" Twilight cried in exasperation. A rainbow maned pegasus rolled her eyes in annoyance. "She said she had to go meet a new animal. Really nice one." The purple alicorn groaned. "Fine! I'll tell her tomorrow!" "Twilight darling, why exactly are we here?" Said a white unicorn with a stylish purple mane and tail. "Yeah! I mean I had to stop mid-bounce when I heard that something was wrong!" All eyes turned toward a bright pink earth pony. "What?" She asked. "What's goin' on sugarcube?" Applejack the orange farm-mare asked. Twilight took a deep breath and slowly let it out before looking all of her friends in the eye. "There's a demon loose in Equestria." Complete silence followed her statement. "And in two days, were going to use the Element's of Harmony on it." Rainbow Dash was the first to snap out of the silence. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, let me get this straight; there's a DEMON loose? Like super evil demon?!" She flapped her wings in anger. "I just found out yesterday, and I can't show you where I got the information because it exploded into ashes," the alicorn mare looked at the confused expressions. "Please don't ask. Anyway it is supposed to be extremely dangerous so we have to get rid of it." "Darling, why do we have to wait for two days to get rid of this abomination?!" The white mare Rarity asked in horror. "Oh oh! I know!" Yelled the pink mare. "Fluttershy said she would be free in two days, and Twilight has to work more on her attack spells just in case right?" Twilight face-hooved. "Pinkie, how did you know that?" She asked. "I have no idea." All the ponies in the room face-hooved at that. "Ah guess we'd better go prepare to meet it . . ." Applejack said, trotting toward the library door along with the other four mares. "Remember! Two days!" The alicorn yelled before she was alone in the library with her thoughts once again. 'I hope we'll be okay after this . . .' She thought before going upstairs to sleep. Author's Note Yay! Next chapter! I might have the next one done by today so keep watching! //-------------------------------------------------------// Wrong Identity //-------------------------------------------------------// Wrong Identity Twilight's Library . . . . . Twilight fluttered her wings anxiously while pacing the wooden library floor. 'Just how dangerous is this demon?' She wondered while her pacing began to wear the floor down once more. She stopped for a moment. 'What does it eat? Do they need to eat?' All of a sudden, her pupils shrunk down to the size of pinpricks. 'Does it eat PONIES?!' She quickly hopped out of the circle she created and ran out of the library as fast as possible. As she ran, her thought's flew through her head. 'I have to get my friends to hunt this demon down today! Every day we waste is another day somepony could die!' The lavender alicorn suddenly spread her wings and clumsily flew up to a cloud that looked much like a house. "Rainbow! RAINBOW!" She yelled while pounding on the soft, but solid, door. It flew open to revel a very annoyed cyan pegasus standing in the doorway. "Jeez Twi, what's the matter? Is there some kind of emergency or something?" Her annoyed tone made it clear that she wasn't in a joking mood. "YES IT'S AN EMERGENCY! We are going to hunt down that demon, what was it's name again? I think it was Frenzy. Were hunting it down today!" Twilight took a deep breath of the fresh air and tried desperately to calm herself down. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, I thought we were going after it tomorrow! Today was supposed to be resting day or whatever right? So what's the big deal now?" She flipped her multicolored mane out of her eyes. "I know that's what I said, but then I realized that it might eat," she gulped. "Ponies." A look of horror and disgust flickered across Rainbow's face before she composed herself and launched into the air. "What are we waiting for?! Let's go kick some demon flank!" "Let's grab the other girls first, and I got the Elements right here." There was a sudden Flash! and a magenta bag materialized next to the alicorn, it being surrounded in a violet aura. "I suggest that we get Rarity next." "Great!" Rainbow Dash said. "Let's go!" She zoomed off with a rainbow trailing after her as flew towards the white unicorn's home. Rarity's Home . . . . . . . Rarity sighed and closed her eyes in beautiful bliss. It was so quiet, so peaceful, so rela- CRASH! The white unicorn groaned and slowly got out of her comfortable poster-bed. "WERE CLOSED!" She yelled so whoever heard her would know to go away. She heard a voice call her name and her bell ring, signaling that somepony needed her. "I SAID WERE CLOSED!" Another small ding from her bell. Frowning in extreme frustration, Rarity trotted down the stairs ready to yell at whoever wouldn't go away. "I told you that- Oh Twilight! Rainbow Dash! What are you two doing here?" Twilight frowned and opened her mouth, only to get cut off by the cyan pegasus. "Were going after the demon today!" There was a brave looking pose and, for the oddest reason, background music. The white unicorn frowned in confusion. "I thought we were getting it tomorrow!" "Rarity, everyday we let that thing roam free, somepony could . . ." Twilight faltered before whispering the last part. "die." Rarity gasped loudly. "Then we must go! Oh but first I need to get a scarf . . ." "RARITY!" The two other ponies yelled. "Oh all right. Let's go. Who do we need to go get now?" Twilight frowned. "We still need to get Pinkie and Applejack," Rarity screamed, making both ponies whip around to see what was wrong. "PINKIE PIE?! APPLEJACK?! GET OUT OF MY MANE!!" She yelled, prompting Pinkie Pie to jump out of the white unicorn's purple mane while holding Applejack. "Hi girls! I knew you guys were looking for me and Aj so I went ahead and came to you!" She beamed at all of the confused ponies. Rainbow Dash shook her head back and forth in disbelief. "Okay I can accept how Pinkie randomly got here, but seriously Applejack? How did you even get here?!" The farm-pony shrugged her shoulders with a scared look on her face. "Ah blinked, then all of a sudden Pinkie Pie was holdn' me and we were standing in Rarity's mane." Everypony (except for Pinkie Pie and Applejack) face-hooved. "Now that just leaves Flutter's! Let's go get her girls!" All five ponies cheered and galloped out of the room. Fluttershy's Cottage . . . . . . . . "FLUTTERSHY!" The yellow pegasus mare turned her head towards her open door to see all five of her friends looking at her. "Oh hi girls. How are you all?" She asked. "Were fine Fluttershy." Twilight said before noticing a small saddlebag in front of her friend. "Flutter's, where are you going?" The cyan pegasus asked as she flew over and grabbed the bag. "I'm going to go see my friend Felixia again." There was a sudden gasp. "YOU MET SOMEPONY NEW AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" Pinkie Pie yelled while smiling. Fluttershy hid behind her mane. "She's not a pony, she's a really nice wolf . . ." "I'm sorry darling," Rarity began. "I don't think any of us heard that." "I said she's a really nice wolf . . ." All the ponies in the room frowned at their friend. "Speak up! Come on we don't have all day!" "I said she's a really nice wolf I met yesterday," Rainbow Dash stared at the saddlebag in her hooves before opening it and quickly rummaging through it. The cyan pegasus held out three items, two daisy sandwiches, a small red-and-white blanket, and a notebook, before shoving them all back in and dropping to the ground. "What's her name . . .?" The whisper was barely audible to all 6 ponies and they turned their gaze to Rainbow Dash. "What. Is. The. Wolf's. NAME?!" Fluttershy cowered on the floor at her friends sudden rage. "Felixia . . ." Rainbow looked at Twilight. "What's the demon's name?" The yellow pegasus opened her eyes in terror. 'There's a demon?!' "Frenzy." There was a sigh of relief from the cyan pegasus. "I'm glad you didn't meet the demon she-wolf Fluttershy, it could have hurt you or . . . . . killed you." There was a small squeak of terror. Twilight looked Fluttershy in the eye. "We're going after the demon today, so it doesn't hurt anypony, so I brought the Element's." The terrified pegasus gave a small gasp. "We need you to come with us into the Everfree Forest." "No! It's scary in there. And there are Timberwolves, and manticors, and all sort's of scary things! I don't want to go!" She had grabbed a pillow and began sobbing into it, adding even more dramatic effects to her refusal. "But Fluttershy! We need you! And if we don't get rid of that demon," The yellow pegasus looked at Twilight. "ponies could die." "No." Twilight held out her hoof to the timid pegasus. "Please?" "O-Okay." She stood out and stretched before an idea popped into her mind. "M-Maybe Felixia can help us track down the demon, I'm sure she would be glad to help other ponies . . ." Twilight beamed. "That's a great idea! Can we meet her?" "Okay, but please be nice to her. . . she's a new animal so she might be nervous." "Great! Let's go you guys!" All 6 ponies left the room, totally unaware of a dark shadow sitting in an unseen corner. Felixia's Cave . . . . . . . . . . Felixia stared at the afternoon sun, basking in it's beautiful warmth. 'I wish I could have seen the sun in Tartarus.' She thought numbly. 'It's so relaxing and warm. . .' She rolled over onto her belly and closed her eyes before feeling an odd, yet slightly familiar sensation, traveling across her whole body. Her eyes widened before she scooted out of the sun, pure shock on her face. 'Another demonic form?! I thought I only had 5!' Her eyes traveled across her fur, looking for anything slightly odd about her. Felixia let out a sigh of relief. 'I must have stopped just in time.' She thought before her sharp ears picked up a faint sound. Clop, clop, clop, clop, clop. Felixia ran to the mouth of her cave (while being careful to stay in the shade) and gazed down at the 6 approaching figures. Lavender, Pink, Blue, White, Orange, and a slightly familiar Yellow running right towards her cave. 'Do I attack them? Or see who or what they are?' The she-wolf thought before there was a bright lavender flash, a Pop!, and suddenly 5 ponies she didn't recognize and one she did were standing in her cave. The familiar face turned and looked at Felixia, a small smile spread across her face. "Hi Felixia!"She said. "These are my friends. Oh um they want to ask you something." Felixia frowned and looked at the lavender pony, who flinched slightly under her gaze. "Why are you in my cave? I expected only Fluttershy to come." She said, stunning the 5 ponies before one snapped out of her trance. "Felixia," She began. "We need you to help us find a demon." Author's Note I'm trying really really hard to slow this story down! I swear! Rushing is my number one problems with writing so I'm trying to fix it. //-------------------------------------------------------// Soundwave //-------------------------------------------------------// Soundwave "Felixia," She began. "We need you to help us find a demon." The she-wolf blinked calmly, taking great care that her expression stayed neutral. 'A demon?! Could it be me their looking for?' She mentally face-pawed. 'Obviously they're looking for me; how many other demons get out of Tartarus?' Felixia thought for a moment. 'I'd better play dumb just in case they don't know I'm the demon though . . .' The she-wolf frowned and cocked her head to the side. "What's a demon?" All six ponies, including her new friend Fluttershy, face-hooved. "Your telling me you've never EVER heard of a demon before?! How could you not know about them!" The lavender unicorn yelled. Felixia growled. "Don't yell at me. EVER. If anything, I should be yelling at all of you for barging into my new cave, yelling at me, and not even telling me who you are!" A guilty expression crossed the unicorns face, making her chuckle uncomfortably. "Oh yea . . .hehe . . . I guess we forgot to tell you our names." She cleared her throat. "I'm Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia's personal protege." She gave the she-wolf a small smile before a bright pink mare bounced up to Felixia. "Do you like parties?" She asked while leaning towards the wolf's face, actually making her back up in shock. "I've . . .uh . . never actually been to a party." She admitted, making the Pink mare impossibly widen her eyes before she grabbed the she-wolf's face. "WHAT?! YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO A PARTY?!" Felixia slowly started backing away towards the mouth of the cave, her ears pressed flat against her head. "N-No. . .?" Twilight face-hoofed again. "Pinkie Pie I think your scaring her." The pink mare quickly bounced away. "You will get a party!" She declared before the oddest thing happened. All of a sudden, her normally pink mane and tail went extremely flat before reverting back to it's likeness before. "That's weird," she said thoughtfully. "Pinkie was that your Pinkie Sense?" A cyan colored pegasus mare asked, earning a glance from Felixia. 'Pinkie Sense? What could that be?' "Yea it means that somepony isn't who we think they are but I don't know who . . ." Felixia's eyes widened. 'How is it possible?! She- what- how . . . . .?!?!' Felixia thought before the cyan pegasus flew up to her. "You were serious about not knowing about demons?" She asked, earning a small nod from the she-wolf. "I bet you know about me! Rainbow Dash, future Wonderbolt, fastest flier in all of Equestria, am I ringing any bells?" Felixia frowned and shook her head, barely noticing the mare's jaw drop to the floor. "Are you serious?! What, were you raised in a cave or something?" The wolf frowned. "Yes, yes I was raised in a cave. Any more stupid questions?" "Are you calling me stupid?!" "No, I asked if there were any more stupid questions and then you asked yet another stupid question." The mare blushed furiously before flying quickly back over to her group and pushing the last member forward. Felixia looked at the white unicorn with some interest. 'Hmm, I must admit that she has a beautiful coat of fur.' She mused. The unicorn gave an uncomfortable chuckle. "Um . . . my name is Rarity. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Felixia." Felixia smirked and gave a small chuckle. "You don't have to be so formal you know, just call me Felixia." Rarity smiled back. "Right." Twilight cleared her throat, making all eyes turn to her. "Well? Will you help us locate the demon?" Felixia frowned for a moment. 'If I say no, it'll look suspicious, but if I say yes do I lead them on to an unknown destination?' She mentally sighed. 'I guess my best choice is to lead them on.' "I will help you," the whole group sighed in relief. "but, only if you tell me what kind of scent I'm looking for exactly." Twilight frowned. "I don't exactly know what the demon would smell like, but just look for anything that smells unusual." The she-wolf face-pawed. "Fine." She mumbled before putting her paw back on the rocky floor. "Everyone will follow me though!" "And why exactly should we follow you?!" Rainbow Dash yelled from behind the group. "Because I am the only one that could have a small chance of finding the demon." Felixia turned to Twilight. "What does a demon look like anyway? Or the one that I'm looking for." Twilight frowned again. "We think that the demon is a red-and-black she-wolf with bat wings." She responded. Felixia mentally started laughing. 'Oh Tartarus she's serious! Bwahahahahah! Oh if I told them I was the demon I'd bet that Twilight character would pass out cold!' The she-wolf struggled to maintain her current posture while also watching the purple unicorns serious face. "Okay," she managed. "We'd better start looking for it then right?" All six ponies nodded while Felixia trotted toward the cave-mouth. She paused for a moment before turning around and looking at the frozen ponies. "Well? Let's get going already! I was kind of about to fall asleep when you guys burst in here so unless you aren't gonna move I'm going back to sleep." The odd group quickly ran to catch up with the demon she-wolf and began slowly walking deeper into the forest. Time passed, the only sound that they could hear was their own hooves crunching the twigs around them and the paw steps ahead of them. "Hey Felixia?" The yellow pegasus named Fluttershy began. "How come you were speaking so serious back there when we were introducing? I don't think you were like that for me. . ." The she-wolf cast her green gaze onto the pegasus. Felixia gave the pegasus her best evil stare. "Do you really want to know why?" There was a small Eep!. "Uh . . . . ." Fluttershy paused when she heard the she-wolf laughing lightly. "I was joking Fluttershy! The only reason I was acting like that, was because some of them were being slightly rude." Fluttershy giggled, making the demon she-wolf smile at her. Rarity groaned from the back of the group. "How long have we been walking?! My hooves are killing me!" Twilight and Rainbow Dash face-hooved. "We've been walking for about 30 minutes Rarity." Twilight responded. "30 MINUTES?! Oh my goodness! No wonder my hooves are pounding!" Felixia breathed in the rich, forest air before stopping on the spot. "Everybody FREEZE." She ordered. All movement stopped coming from the group, leaving a faint rustling coming from behind them. "Does anyone else hear that?" She whispered. A low growl came from the rustling. "Oh, so you finally manage to hear me eh? Clever wolf. . ." The voice praised before the figure stepped out from behind the bushes. Felixia gasped at the sight of the figure. "Too bad you won't be able to re-account this meeting with me." Twilight stared at him. "You're a male Ursa Major!" She said in shock. "How are you able to talk?!" The Ursa rolled his eyes. "All male Ursa Major's can talk you stupid pony. But no one has ever lived to record the fact!" He grinned making all of the ponies shudder in fear. "I must thank you for coming into my territory right when I was feeling hungry. You're quite accommodating." Rainbow Dash widened her eyes. "W-We're not somepony's lunch! Right girls?" "Right!" They all yelled. Felixia growled loudly. 'Darn it! Just my freaking luck to accidentally lead them into a male Ursa's territory. We'd better get out of here fast!' The Ursa growled loudly. "You are my lunch little ponies, and if you don't accept that fact, then I'll make you!" He slammed his claws into the ground, sending a massive shock-wave that unbalanced the group. "Everyone! Run!" Felixia yelled at the ponies, making them all run into the forest to hide. Except one. "Fluttershy!" The she-wolf called. "Run!" The yellow pegasus didn't move one inch, her eyes wide with fear before she crumbled into a dead faint. The Ursa Major laughed evilly. "I see my first appetizer!" He said before reaching out with an outstretched claw towards the pegasus. Felixia's eyes dilated. "No . . ." she whispered as a tingling sensation began traveling down her spine. "No." The tingling grew even more. "NO!" She yelled, her yell ringing with so much power that trees fell. The Ursa Major turned around and faced Felixia, shock plastered across his face as he faced a terrible sight. Felixia's fur had turned a light blue, her paws becoming black, and her face had become white. Eight new tail's swished beside her old tail. Red eyes glared at the frozen Ursa Major. "I swear," she growled. "if you lay ONE CLAW on Fluttershy, you will face the wraith of Soundwave!" https://camo.derpicdn.net/12bbeb9e80ca3815e9fee8d0b8144c24d5eece07?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffc01.deviantart.net%2Ffs36%2Fi%2F2008%2F281%2Fd%2F5%2FNine_tailed_Fox_by_Vyrilien.jpg Soundwave: Sound demon wolf form Author's Note Sorry about how late I'm publishing this next chapter. The battle between Felixia's new form Soundwave and the Ursa Major will be the next chapter! Yay! Sorry about how late this is. I got writers block. :fluttercry: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/fluttercry.png I'll try and add the next chapter really soon! I'm sorry if I'm rushing. *frowns* It's my worst problem. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Nine Screeching Tails Of Death //-------------------------------------------------------// The Nine Screeching Tails Of Death Soundwave (or the new form of Felixia) took a step forward while growling menacingly. "If you touch Fluttershy with one claw, I will attack you until you beg for mercy!" She threatened. The Ursa snapped out of his shock and laughed. "You? Oh don't make me laugh wolf, I am much more powerful than you. I must admit, your new look is quite shocking, but I am still ten times more powerful than you!" He smirked in triumph before pausing for a moment hearing the she-wolf laugh quietly. "What's so funny wolf?" Soundwave lifted her head. "You boast about your powers and your strength, but I'm not your average enemy." Her red eyes locked with the Ursa's and she smirked, showing off her long, pure white teeth. "But if you truly don't want to walk away and surrender, then you shall be crushed under my paw. This could have been avoided if you did not try to harm my friend." The Ursa laughed. "Bring it on she-wolf! You have no hope of winning this battle! And when you have been killed, I'm going to eat your friend over there." He motioned to the unconscious form of the yellow pegasus, making Soundwave growl loudly. "If you truly want to lose, fine, suit yourself." The she-wolf inhaled sharply, making the Ursa Major tilt his head in confusion. "What are you doing?" He asked. Soundwave responded with a glare, before letting out her attack. To the Ursa, it felt like his ears were bleeding, the sound of her one howl echoing throughout the forest while flattening several trees around her. The Ursa's eyes widened as the howl continued, debris flying up from the ground and hitting him. 'Such power in her howl!' He thought, wincing as a large rock hit him in the chest. 'What is she?!' Finally, she stopped her howl attack, watching as the Ursa clutched his currently bleeding chest. "I told you," the wolf started. "that I'm not your average enemy." Soundwave blinked as she watching the large bear stand up again and stare at her. Soundwave blinked once. "If you want, I can let you hit me once before we continue." She glanced down at Fluttershy, who was still unconscious. "You have 5 seconds before I won't let you land a blow on me. 5 . . ." The Ursa Major grabbed his stomach before slowly walking over to the she-wolf. "4 . . ." He stopped in front of her before grabbing his stomach in pain once more. "3 . . ." His eyes widened. 'She can't be serious!' "2 . . ." Slowly, the Ursa raised his claw into the air. "1 . . ." Quickly, he brought it down where the she-wolf was, only to find ,to his shock, that 3 of her nine tails held his claw and stopped it from hurting her. "I'm sorry Ursa," Soundwave said with little sympathy. "You ran out of time." She inhaled sharply before unleashing another earth-shattering howl that shook the forest. The Ursa Major yelled out in agony and held his ears as he was pushed back by the she-wolf's howl. 'My ears! They're bleeding!' He thought before more debris began hitting him all over his body. The Ursa fell to the ground and groaned, his once dark reddish-brown fur was stained an even darker red all over. The stars that once shown all over his body had gone into the redness that the wolf had caused. Finally, Soundwave stopped and slowly padded closer to the male Ursa,w who was looking at her with genuine fear in his eyes. "How?" He asked. Soundwave tilted her head in confusion. "How what?" The Ursa frowned. "How are you able to make such a noise?!" He yelled before groaning once more. Soundwave grinned, showing off her teeth. "My teeth are long and hollow so that sound vibrates better. My nine tails generate an incredible amount of power that I am able to utilize and create my large howls. I can heal, wound, kill, and enchant with my voice." She grinned. The Ursa's eyes widened. " What kind of a monster are you?!" He yelled at the demon she-wolf. Soundwave grinned. "I am a demon that changes form. Right now, Felixia isn't in control because this is the first time I have ever been used. But I am under orders not to harm the one called Fluttershy." Soundwave grinned again, showing off her long teeth. "But that means I can do whatever I want with you until you're dead." The Ursa's eyes widened even more. 'A demon?! I was fighting a demon?! No wonder she beat me!' Soundwave closed her eyes and opened her mouth a small amount before a sweet melody poured out. The Ursa felt his wounds close quickly, and soon he stood up once again before looking at the demon she-wolf. "Wh-What are you doing to me?!" He yelled at her . She grinned. "Why, I'm getting ready to kill you! Are you ready to face my final attack?" She asked in a sweet, motherly tone. The Ursa growled loudly. "Go to Tartarus." Soundwave frowned. "No I don't intend on going there again, thanks anyway." She smiled evilly before closing her eyes and lifting all nine of her tails into the air. A loud vibrating sound filled the air as Soundwave opened her mouth and released nine of her most powerful howls towards her own tails. Each tail caught one howl before pushing the pulsing sound waves onto the center tail, forming a large, pulsing blue and white sphere that hummed with the powerful sounds. Soundwave looked at the Ursa before grinning evilly once more. "Nine Screeching Tails Of Death!" She yelled, releasing the glowing orb and hurling it right at the Ursa Major. A loud noise filled the air before there was a loud explosion, what sounded like a million cats scratching a chalkboard at the same time, and then, nothing. Soundwave smiled to herself. 'Well,' she mused. 'I sure did have fun with my one and only time in control!' She fell into a dead faint and transformed back into Felixia, who was laying next to Fluttershy, who had rolled onto a small pile of ash that had not been there before. One flake of ash had a small star on it. https://camo.derpicdn.net/12bbeb9e80ca3815e9fee8d0b8144c24d5eece07?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffc01.deviantart.net%2Ffs36%2Fi%2F2008%2F281%2Fd%2F5%2FNine_tailed_Fox_by_Vyrilien.jpg Author's Note Sooooooooo? How was it? Was it a good fight? Did I do well? Did you guys understand what happened? Yay questions! Boo cliffhangers! //-------------------------------------------------------// Inside Felixia's Mind & Meeting The Forms //-------------------------------------------------------// Inside Felixia's Mind & Meeting The Forms Felixia slowly opened her eyes and glanced around the black room she stood in. 'Wait a minute,' she thought warily. 'This isn't the Split . . .' Slowly, she got to her paws before turning around, searching for any signs of life. "Hello?" She called . "Is anyone here?" There was a small, but loud, giggle that seemed to echo through the room. "Of course we're here Felixia! You just can't see us!" Another giggle escaped from the unseen figure, making the black-and-white she-wolf shuffle nervously. "Okay . . . way to creepy to be the Split. Maybe I'm asleep?" Her voice had a tinge of annoyance that was noticeable as it was reflected throughout the room. Suddenly, a pure white she-wolf with long, slender, white wings stepped out from behind the curtain of nothingness, her muzzle contorted with confusion. "The Split?" She asked in the same voice that Felixia heard not more than a moment ago. "Is that what you call the interdenominational pocket of space that was created for you where you watch your demonic forms every time you find a new form, get extremely angry and lose control, or get knocked out?" Her voice gave off an edge of confusion while frowning in thought . "Why do you call it the Split?" Felixia sighed, not because she was tired or annoyed, only because she was relieved to see the figure who was speaking. "I call it the Split because I get "split" from my body every time I go there. Understand?" She nodded her head in understanding. "Oh! That's really clever!" Felixia smiled for a moment before frowning. "Hey, how do you know about that anyway? And who are you exactly?" The winged wolf smiled at her again. "I'm Feather, or more specifically, I'm one of your forms." And the gears in Felixia's mind shut off. 'Whaaaaaaaaat?' There was a small sigh coming from the large blanket of darkness that still covered everything that could be considered a background of a sort. "Feather, the forms she didn't know about already weren't supposed to come out . . ." The speaker said to the white wolf. "We went over this Feather," another voice, maybe slightly higher in pitch and carried a swift speaking pace while still being slightly feminine, chastised Feather. "No coming out until she found you! That was the rule of this meeting with her anyway!" "Quiet both of you!" Snapped another female voice., one that Felixia actually recognized. "Let's just hurry this up!" Another figure stepped out of the blanketing darkness, her being a dark brown she-wolf that seemed to be wearing spiked and decorated armor. Stone smiled sheepishly. "Sorry Felixia, this is the first time for a lot of us to finally meet you. Feather," One glare shot across to the wolf was noted. "Just couldn't help herself." A sigh escaped her muzzle. Oh well, let's just get on with the meeting. Everyone ready?" "Yes!" Said a collection of voices. "No I have to go to the bathroom. . ." A voice said from the darkness that separated Felixia from the speaker. Stone glared into the dark void. "Quill, this is no time for jokes." The invisible voice giggled in response. Stone finally turned her gaze to Felixia, her green eyes meeting the demon she-wolf's. "Sorry about this Felixia, but we all had to warn you about something." Felixia frowned in return. "Warn me about what exactly?" Stone sighed. "We're not exactly able to tell you yet . . ." A loud thudding sound came from behind Felixia, prompting her to turn around and be greeted by another one of her forms. "If you couldn't tell her yet, why did you bring her here!" Skull snapped at Stone, the clack of her teeth making an echo throughout the room-like place. The armored she-wolf glared at the skeleton. "Excuse me for trying!" "Oh? Well think it through first before you act Water." Stone's eye twitched. "It's Stone you idiot! Not Water! That's Tigress's nickname." Skull scowled. "You're the idiot." "Twit." "Weakling." "Annoyance." "Sorry excuse for a demon!" Why you . . ." Felixia suddenly got the feeling that all the others watching them throw insults at one another were moving their heads back and forth like they were watching a game of tennis. "Okay then!" Felixia said while standing between both demons, not wanting to see a fight break out between them. "Is there anything else you need? I'd really like to get back to the Split . . ." Suddenly the white she-wolf was standing on top of Felixia, making her yelp in surprise. "Well we have to give you a warning first Felixia! Then you can go, although I'd hate to see what Soundwave did to that Ursa Major." She shuddered at the thought. Felixia gave off a loud sigh. "Well what's the warning?" All three demon wolves got very still for the moment. "Beware of the one who is different than everyone else, for he may bring you pain and the downfall of everyone by doing one thing." Skull said ominously, making the black-and-white she-wolf frown in confusion. "Beware of the one who is different? What is tha-" "Sorry!" Feather chirped happily, cutting Felixia off. "That's all we can tell you, so, bye!" The black world rushed away from Felixia, but she heard one more part come from Skull as she was taken away. "Be careful. . ." She woke up surrounded by ash.
