A guard looked over the wall. He could have sworn he'd just seen a shadow.
A few hours later, he'd hear a bit of rustling. He would then look of the wall again, only to see a blanket, and it was wrapped around something. Being a pegasus, he would glide down, only to find a small foal. There was a note attached to the blanket. 'Take care of her.' was all it read. He noticed movement behind the filly's back.
"Princess Celestia!" he yelled, running into the castle.
"What is wrong?" Celestia asked the flustered guard.
"There was a foal- by the gates." he said, "I mean. It looked like a unicorn at first, but then I-"
"Are you saying this filly is an alicorn?" Celestia asked.
"Y-yes." he said. Celestia pulled back some of the foal's blanket, and there they were. A small set of wings.
"Send a message to Princess Cadence in the Crystal Empire, Princess Twilight, and Princess Erroria immediately." Celestia held the small foal in her arms, "Tell them they should arrive as soon as possible."
