Battle of Stalliongrad: Soldiers tale
Chapter: One "Only the dead know peace"
You walk into the Canterlot liberty and you are soon surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of books which scale to the bottom of the floor to the top with deep and rich information on story’s, history and other things but there is one place deep down in the liberty were no pony goes looking, you wonder down, deeper and deeper into the depths of the liberty until to meet the very end.
Well almost, there is a locked gate banded together by magic which stops you from entering this forbidden place but lucky for you, you were able to open the lock by using a spell from a forbidden book allowing you to enter. As you enter you find yourself facing a single shelf, on the top are grey and old looking books sitting on top of the book self but the sides of the books have been eaten away by time and decay as it seems that the book hasn't been used for many years, on the front of the book lies the names, but they are not normal names such as “WOLFGANG” “THORSTEN” “ALBRECHT” and so on all in italic writing.
Writing which hasn't been seen for over hundreds of years and under that there are different insignia with them on, some are jet black with two lightning bolts in bright silver which represent the SS insignia with the caption “My honour is my loyalty” and others with an eagle grasping the sun in a simply tan or blue colour.
Underneath that there are reels of tapes with spider webs and dust around them, by the look of them it seems that they haven’t been used in a very long time. You walk over to the bookshelf looking over using your horn to pick up on of the grey books with “Wolfgang” on the front with the SS ruins; you open it looking at the front page.

Date: 699 (301 years prior to Princess Luna's freedom from Nightmare Moon, and 1 year prior to the Battle of Stalliongrad)
Wolfgang stared into the mirror in his barracks; he wore a field grey tunic with the cuff title “Princess Celesta” around the left fore hoof and above the sleeve abit was a small eagle grasping the sun. He is also wearing field grey trousers what were tucked into two leather boots high books at the back which stopped dead in the middle of his back legs at the bottom of the boots where two steel hooves with steel studs in them what make a noticeable notice when you trotted along.
Underneath that he wore a mouse grey shirt with his top button done up as the same as his tunic as you were only able to see the top collar of his undershirt, around his collar on his tunic was a silver lining which went all the way round and on his collar with a silver dot on his left collar tab suggesting he was a Unterscharführer in the Waffen-SS. He also had a black leather belt under his bell with the silver belt buckle with the saying “Celestia ist mit uns” with a leather holster on his right side for his side arm what was a P38.
Wolfgang has just been promoted to Unterscharführer the day before hand and was admiring his new uniform until his fantasia was broken by a noise beside him
“You’re not going to look in the mirror all day are you?” with a slight chuckle, Wolfgang turned around to find himself looking at colt with a tan coated unicorn with a white and black mane.
He stood there in the same field grey uniform as Wolfgang was wearing but without the sliver lining which went around his collar and nor did he have a side arm, instead his has two sliver line around his left collar tab with the rank he had nothing but on the other side where the SS ruins where meant to be was a skull what interacted that he was in the 3rd SS Totenkopf.
Wolfgang gave a light smile as he gave a quick brush of his tunic with his right fore hoof “Come on, we gotta go to the mess hall” the unicorn stated in a semi-serous tone while bring his head to the left suggesting to the door.
Wolfgang brought his left hoof stretching it out in order to pull back the sleeve abit in order to look at his watch what read Three o’clock before placing his hoof back down on the ground. “Strange, never been called to the mess at this time of the day” Wolfgang finally spoke as he trotted towards the door, his steel hooves clanging as they hit the wooden floor of the barracks, the unicorn beside him trotted over to the door as well but stopped sort of the door itself allowing moving to the side allowing his NCO to go in front of him.
As Wolfgang trotted closer to the door the unicorn brought both of his hind legs to attention, both of his steel hooves clashed together giving a small eco in the barrack he stood tall with his head held high semi-shouting “After you Unterscharführer!” with a cheesy smile on his face. Wolfgang glanced at his friend only to return it with shaking his head and a grin “You’re not going to do that all the time are you?” Wolfgang said as he opened the door to the barracks stepping on the pavement outside, still holding the door for his friend.
The unicorn finally made it out side, closing the door behide him as Wolfgang let go of it, “Want a smoke?” the unicorn said as he turned around on the dime to face Wolfgang with his horn glowing as he did, his tunic front pocket opened and a cigarette box and a lighter floated upwards in a oracle of pink magic.
Wolfgang glanced to his side before saying “yea, why not Fritz.” Fritz used his magic to open the box and pull out two cigarettes levitating one over to Wolfgang who promptly caught it in his mouth while fritz did the same while also opening the lighter bringing it closers to his mouth, placing the tip of his cigarette into the flame before taking a few puffs. Wolfgang trotted forward closer to fritz’s in order to be in reach of his lighter before doing the same but then pulled away “So what’s all this about at the mess hall?” Wolfgang said as he took a puff from his cigarette, breathing it out of his noise.
“Fuck knows” Fritz’s said with a careless tone “Most likely more propaganda about the stallionists” letting out his puff of smoke rolling his eyes.
Wolfgang gave an approving nod before turning around trotting down the road with his friend beside him still smoking, they made their way to the main road which stretched out through the camp with the odd R75 and Opel Blitz’s passing by.
They marching in step up the road, there steel hooves hitting the ground with a clunk every time they stepped, they saw a large group of soldiers moving towards them in a column of three but there was something different about them, they were SS as well but they were wearing camouflage Smocks and had the insignia on their collar tabs but neither Wolfgang or Fritz could recognize any one them as they weren’t from the 1st or 3rd SS.

“I didn’t know they were bring in new division in” Fritz piped up still looking at the group marching towards them
“Are they singing?” Wolfgang said squinting his eyes to see if they were but as they moved closer they could hear them singing
“Looks like they are, strange song though must be a new one” Fritz said giving his friend a glance before returning his stare at them. As the group marched past them they were able to hear what they were singing clearly

It trailed off as they past and kept marching down the road, “Doesn’t sound like a bad song huh?” fritz said giving Wolfgang a Friendly nudge
“Too bad we don’t know what the fuck they were saying” Wolfgang replied with a chuckle. As the two of them made it to the mess hall they saw two Ponies standing by the door in full black SS uniform, they had the party armband as usual to show that they were from the Party not the Army.
Wolfgang and fritz both spat out there cigarette before reaching the door using there for hoof to stomp it out, as they reach the huge oak double door to the mess they found that it was filled with the entire division of the 1st and 3rd. Seeing as before the war this place used to be a camp for Filly and colts to go to on their summer breaks it was built for large numbers, but even then it was abit cramped.
At the back of the room stood a stage along it where chairs with all of the senior Officers sitting, Wolfgang recognized a few of the officers from his own division and assumed that the others were from the Third SS, but there were other ponies there two in Tan uniforms with armbands on. Wolfgang had been told that the propagandakompanie would be making a visit to the base in order to keep troop “moral” up even though there wasn’t any pony here that was having any second thoughts about this.
The Waffen-SS was great, you got given good pay which allowed you to do most things heck I think we get paid more than the royal guard and you know that saying “Mares love a stallion in uniform” well that’s twice the truth if that stallion is wearing an SS one!
On the right side of hall sat the Third SS and on the left sat the First SS in straight line after line going all the way down to the front, fritz peeled off to the right whispering “see you in a moment bud” and trotted off to his division while Wolfgang did the same but went up near the front where the NCOs were sitting, seeing as he was now an NCO.
Wolfgang squeezed in-between the two columns and made his way to an empty chair which had to be pretty much on the other side of the room, when he got to the chair he sat down and still looking towards the stage trying to figure out who that was until he thoughts were broken by a tap behide him.
Wolfgang turned around to see who it was and saw a Green earth pony with facing him with a green mane the same as his coat with light blue eyes, he wore the same uniform as Wolfgang had but with the rank scharfuhrer and a side cap instead of a peak cap “You don’t look half bad Wolfe.” He spoke giving a sly grin
“Adrian you sly bastard, where have you been?” Wolfgang replied sending his hoof over to meet his “Oh you know doing the same shit over and over, what about you” says Adrian as he brings his hoof up as well making contact “Well yo-“ Wolfgang was cut off by a loud noise
“ACHTUNG!”
All the ponies stood from their seats standing to attention, bring their hind legs together making a loud clash as they did all of them stood in silence as a pony wearing a tan uniform made his way to the stand on the stage, he coat was dark brown with a black mane, he was an earth pony but was the Party armband and a grey peak cap.
He gave a quick glance around the room before looking at one of the officer’s and shouted “Ruhrt Euch!” and within a heartbeat all of the soldiers stood at ease. But still kept their attention towards the figure standing on the stage, the tan Pony then preceded to clear his throat before speaking.
“Soldier of the SS, you are sitting here today because the great and all mighty princess Celesta has seen fit to place in such a glorious unit, You are the pride of our nation and represent the future of our beloved fatherland.”
The tan pony pauses for abit before breaking out in a deeper tone “But there are those who wish to destroy our great empire, the Stallionists. While they cower and snipe from beneath there so called freedom are heartless and hollow they make their pity clams of liberty and freedom and all the while they look on faces of the equestrians with loafing and disgust. There emery seem us as less than ponies, mutant freaks fit only for killing but they will learn their mistake my ponies” He takes a deep breath before using a louder voice almost shout
“We will show them the Iron and Steel beneath Equestrian flesh, we will throw them again the rock of our collect will!” By this time the crowed had started to get hyped up as a lot of them were nodding in agreement “On this day, we stand united once more. On this day, those driven to divide us will hear our voice! On this day, we shall act as one, and we shall be ignored NO MORE!”
By this time the crow started to cheer, hitting there hoofs on the floor all in time making a chant as there steel hoof hit. The tan pony brought out his for hooves in the air standing on hind legs shout “Defenders of the Celestian dream, NOW IS OUR TIME” by that time the crowed was in full roar as they start to chant louder.
The Tan pony turned around facing the officers giving them a smile bowing abit before stating “Bring out the Cider and have them ready by O six hundred”
