After Rainbow Dash dies, Scootaloo finds the fact hard to take in, so hard in fact that she can't manage to get to sleep. After weeks of trying, the toll of everything sinking in gets heavier and heavier until the pegasus finally snaps, and a drunk stallion winds up dead in the sewers. The voices in her head seem to know just how to pick her apart, and a new question soon taunts her mind: Did she actually enjoy it?

Okay, Solace dropped to hard, and left too much unanswered, so, instead of a prequel, which I can't fully make, I'm going to reset after Over the Line and continue the story. For those who read Solace, the first sequence is the same, still.
