The Adventures of Colt McSpyby Major League PonyChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 4Chapter 5Chapter 6Chapter 7EpilogueChapter 1Colt McSpy is a secret agent working for the E.I.A, the Equestrian Intelligence Agency; it is an organization that no one knows about. They work under the streets of Manehatten. Colt McSpy is a white stallion Earth pony with a black mane that slicks forward, his cutie mark is the inside of a gun barrel looking out, McSpy also wears a tuxedo. It was a regular, and boring day at the office. McSpy was fiddling with his father’s medal of valor. “Agent Colt McSpy, please report to Major Mare’s office immediately!” The voice on the intercom blasted through the speakers loudly. Major Mare is the one who runs this place. She is really known simply as MM. McSpy got up, sighed, and put the medal in his pocket. He trotted down the crowded hallway of the underground base. The place was filled with ponies going around and about. It was like rush hour in the city. Everypony was running. When he reached the office, he opened the door. “You wanted to see me ma’am?” McSpy asked the back of a black leather swirly chair curiously. “Yes I did," The chair turned around and revealed a dark blue mare unicorn with a blue mane sitting in the seat, "We have a problem.” “What is it?” McSpy became a bit concerned about this. Not many times had things gone too bad that they had to call him in for anything in particular. “Princess Luna has gone missing.” “What?!” McSpy’s eyes widened with shock and confusion. “She was about half-way on the trip to Saddle Arabia before her transport was ambushed. That's when she was abducted by her attackers. We then traced her back to Fillydelphia, but the trail went cold from there.” “Yes ma’am, any leads though?” “Yes another, the Alicorn Casino has had a drop in income lately and I don’t believe it’s because of gambling. There were shipments of electrical supplies, metals, and glasses which were listed under this casino. I want you to investigate this and report back to me. Oh, your gadgets are in this case on my desk and your partner should be here any minute now,” MM finished with a smile. “Umm, partner?” McSpy hadn't ever had to work with a partner. This was not his thing. “Sorry I’m late Major Mare, ma’am!” A pony burst through the door, stuttering like a maniac. "McSpy, this is Gear-E Gadget." MM nodded toward the young Pegasus. Gear-E Gadget was a reddish brown stallion Pegasus with a spiked, orange mane that was a little younger than McSpy was, and he wore glasses. His cutie mark was that of two cogs, one big and one small, together. “You have your mission.” MM swirled back around, facing away a rather non-content stallion and another stallion that squealed with excitement. Chapter 2They both left the office and trotted towards the elevator after McSpy took the case of gadgets. Well Gadget seemed to be hopping instead of walking. As they reached the elevator, McSpy pushed a button and turned towards Gear-E Gadget, and noticed that he was carrying a bag on his back. “What’s with the bag,” McSpy asked the Pegasus with curiosity. “Oh, that,” Gadget looked back at his bag, “it’s just some equipment, I’m good with technology. That's my talent.” “Ah,” McSpy kept quiet until the elevator doors opened to a hotel lobby. Gadget looked around the lobby of the hotel filled with ponies walking about. The two partners walked through the hotel and outside into the streets of Manehattan. The two stallions bought a train ticket and found their seats. As they were on their way to the city, McSpy grabbed out the briefcase that MM gave to him. He opened the case and there was a digital wrist watch, bubble gum, sunglasses, a pistol, and a knife. “Oh, that’s a spy watch and spy glasses, and special bubblegum that is extremely strong and can hold a pony on any surface. The spy watch comes with a grappling hook, a laser, and some other helpful tools. That’s amazing!” Gear-E Gadget said excitedly, with wide eyes, then it faded back to a stern face as a little time passed, then turned back to the white stallion in the tuxedo. “Mr. McSpy sir, what exactly are we looking for?” “We’re being assigned to a casino known as Bits-Galore. The only thing we are looking for is anything suspicious.” McSpy replied to the unicorn. *** The time passed and the train arrived in the Fillydelphia train station. McSpy and Gadget got off and trotted to a hotel called The Stables Hotel. This hotel was the closest to the casino. The two stallions trotted inside the building. McSpy paid the receptionist some bits for a room. They took the elevator to the 3rd floor and entered their room. The room had 2 beds; each had a night stand, and a desk that was against a wall. “This is a nice place,” Gadget said as he began to unpack his equipment and set up on a desk. “Yeah, I guess it is.” McSpy said quietly and watched Gadget set up the computers. It seemed to take a while and sparks shot from the cords when he tried to plug them in. “Okay, that should do it, all the systems are ready for action sir.” The computer screens flashed on. “Now that the system is on, what’s the plan?” McSpy paused, impressed by the young unicorns confidence. “I’ll tell you in the morning, for now, let’s just rest.” McSpy laid down on one bed and Gadget in the other. “Night sir.” Gadget said, setting his glasses on his night stand. “Night kid.” he replied and blew out the oil lamp on his night stand. Chapter 3The next day, McSpy and Gadget awoke and walked down to a bakery that was next to the casino. Both ponies grabbed a muffin and sat down at a table. “Alright kid, here’s the plan; you will go back up to the hotel room and link a computer to the spy cam on these glasses, then I will infiltrate the casino, I’ll walk around and you notify me if anything comes up, got it?” McSpy explained quietly, so that no pony could hear the plan. “Yes sir!” Gadget yelled with a mouth full of muffins. “Yeah, now go!” McSpy rushed Gadget. *** Gadget ran as fast as he could back to the hotel. He arrived at the room and sloppily put on his headset, “McSpy, are you there?” There was static then a voice came on, “Yeah, I’m here. I’m in front of the casino. Are things ready?” “Yes, you are clear to enter.” McSpy turned on the camera and pushed through the double doors and entered the build. McSpy saw hundreds of ponies playing casino games. Row after row, ponies sat in front of a slot machine, a hoof on the handle and gambled away. More ponies were sitting at tables, playing card games and roulette. There were so many bustling ponies having a great time and that occasional cheer of a group of ponies who won. Other ponies sat at the bar, getting drunk off of Apple Cider. This place didn’t seem anywhere near different from any other casino. McSpy started to walk around and check the place out. Nothing looked to be out of the ordinary until he trotted through a row of slot machines, he came upon one that said “Out of Order.” “Hold on just a minute!” Gadget yelled, startling the spy. “What is it?” McSpy asked with a wide eyed expression. “That slot machine...I’m getting electrical readings from it.” “So, all it says Out of Order, what’s so special about it?” “But if you knew it was out of order, why would you plug it in, and why would it still have power if it was broken?" “Hmmm...” He thought about it for a moment, then pulled the handle. Suddenly the machine and part of the ground revolved around into a secret hallway. He heard steps of a couple of hooves down the hallway. A closet was in front of McSpy, as fast as he could he quietly lock picked the door and slipped in. He pressed the side of his head to the door to hear any talking between the ponies. Voices of a pair of stallions began to get louder as they were walking down the hallway. “Is the machine ready?” One asked. “Almost ready boss, we have the Princess and the machine.” The other replied. “What about Princess Celestia, she’s stronger than she is?” “That is why we need the Alicorn amulet to multiply the strength of her magic.” “Okay, I’ll get my men on that right away.” They walked far enough so that they couldn't be heard anymore. “Did you get all that?” McSpy breathed through the mic. “Yes I did, they’re after the Alicorn Amulet.” Gadget replied. McSpy started out of the closet door, only to plant his face into a stallion’s chest. It was a guard from the casino. This doesn't look good. McSpy thought to himself, as his ears dropped down. The guard smiled and punched the spy in the face. McSpy flew back into the wall of the supply closet; he became covered in tools and brooms. The guard walked forward to the pile. McSpy jumped out with a mop, holding it like a spear, then wacked the guard in the face. The stallion stumbled backwards for little bit, then found his balance and charged at the spy. McSpy did a side step and hit the guard again with the mop. The guard ran into a shelf and McSpy slammed the closet door shut from the outside. He left the secret passage way. He was quickly walking through the casino to the exit. “Gadget, I think the mission may have been compromised,” McSpy said to his mic. “Hey you, stop!” A guard yelled to the passing earth pony in a tux. McSpy increased his walking speed out the doors of the building. The bright sun shinned in his face. McSpy called a taxi and then the carriage started leave as soon as he got on. He sighed a sigh of relief, but was turned into a gasp of shock when he turned around to see a carriage of mercenary ponies trailing behind. “Step on it!” McSpy yelled to the taxi driver and the driver began to gallop faster, but the mercenaries were catching up. This is bad. McSpy thought. He climbed to the roof of the taxi, struggling to keep his balance. He grabbed out his laser watch and began to melt the tire of the mercenaries’ carriage. Before the carriage could crash in the dust behind them, two of the mercenaries leaped from theirs onto the yellow carriage. A merc punched McSpy’s front leg, then in his face. The other merc slammed McSpy’s head on the surface of the taxi. McSpy felt some blood slide down from his nose to his mouth. The first merc took out a combat knife and cut through his tux, making a slice wound on his side. A small amount of blood began to rush out through his tux. He raised a hoof to strike the spy again, but McSpy grabbed his hoof in mid swing and directed the knife to stab the merc in the shoulder. The mercenary screamed in pain as the blade dug into his skin. McSpy took out a pistol with his other hoof and shot the merc in the forehead. The blood splattered onto his tux and the screaming stopped. Then, the other pony began to charge at the spy. McSpy used his back legs to buck the pony off the taxi. Before he could slide off the speeding yellow carriage he got a grip. The stallion was hanging on, but barely. McSpy limped over to the edge where the stallion was holding onto. “Who are you working for?!” McSpy demanded to know. “I-er-will never-argh-tell you.” The mercenary grunted, struggling to talk and hang on at the same time. “Grab my hoof!” McSpy held out his hoof to help the stallion. The merc refused to accept his help and simply let go to fall to his death. The spy watched the mercenary’s body hit the street and roll limply across the ground. “Gadget, I didn’t get any info out of the mercs so I’m heading back to the hotel.” McSpy said into his mic. “I don’t get paid enough to do this.” He said to himself. Chapter 4The taxi came to a stop in front of the hotel. McSpy limped back to his room in pain. When he opened the door he noticed that Gadget was typing furiously on his computer. “What are you doing?” McSpy grunted in pain, trying to stop the blood from the cut on his side. “I’m trying to figure out how long I can take over the security cameras in the museum.” He replied without taking his eyes off the screen. “What?” “That’s where the Alicorn amulet is; we need to secure the artifact before they do.” “You really do come prepared, don’t you?” McSpy gave a small smile and chuckled. “Aaaand got it.” He stopped and turned around, “All cameras are hacked long enough for us to grab the amulet and get out. We also need to wait until dark.” “Alright then.” McSpy finished dressing his wound and got up, but flinched in pain. “You sure you can do this?” “I have handled much worse, trust me.” *** McSpy waited until night fell, and then left to the museum. He arrived at the front doors. “We ready?” McSpy asked into the mic. “Operation: Alicorn is ago.” Gadget replied. “Operation: Alicorn? Not too shabby.” McSpy said and took out his spy watch. A mini saw blade emerged out of the watch. He made a clean circular cut through the glass and went onwards into the museum. The building was empty, dark, and quiet. McSpy saw that all ways were blocked by bars. “Any ideas?” McSpy asked suddenly. “There’s a vent above you, to the right, just follow it and you’ll be in the amulets room in no time.” McSpy did just as he said. He crawled in the cold, cramped vent and found himself right above the amulets room. He grabbed a package of super stick bubble gum. He chewed four pieces, one piece at a time, he stuck each of them onto the bottom of his hooves. Crawling out of the vent he started to walk on the walls. Before he continued, he sprayed a mist that revealed the location of the security beams. He continued to walk to the ceiling, and then stopped right over the Alicorn Amulet. McSpy took out a grappling hook from his pocket. He chewed another piece of gum and stuck it on the bottom of the device, then shot the grapple at the ceiling and stuck the device on his back. He lowered himself to the amulet by controlling the grappling hook with his watch. The closer he got to the amulets pedestal; more sweat began to trickle down his face and neck. He made an incision in the glass case. He reached in attempted to grab the amulet, but the amulet shattered into dust. “What in the name of Celestia!” McSpy cursed quietly in irritation. All of the sudden the alarms started blaring and the lights flashed red. “Great, another thing just made to make my day more interesting.” Mcspy said to himself sarcastically. McSpy escaped before royal guards came flooding into the room and arrived back inside the hotel room, breathing heavily. Sweat rolled down his angry filled face. “How could this happen?!” McSpy yelled angrily, slamming his hoof on the night stand. “They must have gotten to it first.” Gadget whispered to himself, shame was in his voice. McSpy sat on the bed and hung his head low. A tear came to his eyes and he sniffed. He shook his head sadly. A sad expression fell upon Gadget’s face to see McSpy so upset, but then Gadget lifted his head quickly. “Sir, this mission isn’t over yet.” Gadget said with the upmost confidence as he picked up McSpy off of his rump. “What do you mean?” McSpy wiped some tears from his face. “I think I know where both the Princess and the Amulet may be.” Gadget rushed to his computers and started typing in files. “While you were at the museum, I searched through that vocal recording; it sounded as if one of them left the secret hallway from the same slot machine, so I tracked him, from security traffic cams, and his trail lead to an old abandoned factory.” Gadget said. McSpy nodded, as his face slowly went from sad and upset to a stern with a serious look in his eye. He then started out the door. “Wait, where are you going?” Gadget stopped him. “I’m going to stop this mad-stallion. Where else?” McSpy said. “Shouldn’t we wait for back up? Or call HQ?” Gadget stuttered. “No, it might put them at risk. At least if I go alone and find out what’s happening, everyone else can prepare for the worst. And the agency can find a way to take him down if I fail.” Gadget nodded, understanding his lust for revenge, “My dad once told me that if a pony gets the better of you, it’s not that you’re too slow, but it’s because that pony is just one step ahead.” He paused. “Be careful out there okay. I’ll hang back here and provide you with technical support.” Chapter 5McSpy rushed out to a taxi and gave the driver the directions. The taxi stopped near the factory, dropped off McSpy and left. McSpy crawled to a nearby hill to observe the building surroundings. There were convoys behind the building. Only two guards stood at the entrance. McSpy sneaked down to the side of the building. “Psst, hey!” McSpy whispered to lure a guard from his post. A guard walked down to the corner of the building. As he turned the corner, a switch blade came down upon the top of his head. He fell to the ground, dead. McSpy then started to dress in the guards outfit. “Hey Jim,” A pony guard whispered anxiously, “You okay?” He turned the corner and saw McSpy dressed as the guard. “Wait, you’re not Ji-,” The other guard was interrupted by McSpy slitting the throat of the pony. McSpy walked into the entrance of the building. He saw dozens of mercenaries walking about and some ponies in lab coats. He saw a huge cannon looking machine that had a tube connecting to a glass container that held a sleeping Princess Luna, and another tube that connected to a glass case that held the Alicorn Amulet in it. McSpy looked around so Gadget could see. “There’s the princess,” Gadget said, “I’m going to hack the security cameras, so I can better assist you if you get in trouble.” McSpy continued to walk around. This was a three story building. Oil barrels were everywhere, giving McSpy an idea. He took the leftover gum and chewed it. While walking around he stuck mini charges on the barrel using the gum to hold up the charges. He got to the third floor, when suddenly a light blue pegasus stallion with a wavy dark blue mane, and green eyes walked to a balcony. He was wearing a lab coat too. “My friends, ponies, comrades,” He continued, “As your leader I, Dr. Aqua, would like to proudly announce that the time is almost here, because of my offer being refused, we will launch our plan to flood the planet!” He paused and let the crowd of ponies cheer, “But we have a small problem; a spy has infiltrated the base and I command you to find and capture this pony.” He walked away, leaving a bunch of clueless ponies that were chattering amongst themselves. Then they resumed back to what they were doing. A pony guard called a distance behind McSpy, he jumped a little, “Hey you, I need to see your identity!” She said as she held out a hoof. “Oh, I guess I must have left it in my other pa-,” McSpy stopped then took out his switch blade and stabbed the pony in her outstretched arm. “The spy is over here!” The guard yelled in agony. McSpy punched the mare in the face and threw her over the railing. More guards approached. McSpy galloped into the crowd. He stabbed one in the neck and threw the body at another guard. He slit another’s throat and shoved the body over the railing. A third died by McSpy dodging an oncoming hoof to the face and then backstabbed the guard. The guards kept coming, and McSpy knew he couldn’t take them all, so he put the blade in his left hoof and grabbed out his pistol. He shot a few rounds into the crowd. A couple bodies dropped to the floor, but McSpy couldn’t kill them all, the guards surrounded him. All the spy could do is stab and shoot a couple more rounds, while the guards overwhelmed him. They knocked him out. “McSpy? McSpy!” Gadget was yelling through the mic. Chapter 6McSpy woke up to the sight of Dr. Aqua in his face. McSpy noticed that he was wearing his tux again and a rope was tied around him. “Well, I can imagine that you’re wondering what my plan could be, hmmm?” The pegasus asked with an evil chuckle, “Well the plan was to get 15 billion bits, by threating the entire world, but they refused, so my plan is to flood the whole planet, by simply using the power of the moon to create tidal waves that will wipe out any signs of life.” “That’s insane, what about Cloudsdale?” McSpy asked with a smile. “Oh, they’ll be invaded by my mercenaries, but in the meantime we will be living in an airship!” Dr. Aqua laughed maniacally, “These ponies wanted to kill you, but I thought why not let you get eaten by my pet griffon. Also don’t bother detonating your explosives, we already disarmed them.” He laughed again and then trotted away to his control panel. A mare pushed McSpy into a cage. A noise came from behind him. McSpy turned around to see a drooling, hungry looking griffon, staring at him. McSpy struggled to get free of the ropes, while the griffon walked around its helpless prey. The griffon lunged at the tied up pony. McSpy quickly dodged the attack and the griffon rammed into the side of the cage. McSpy then reached in his pocket to see if any gadgets were still there, but the only thing he had was his dad’s medal of valor. He then had an idea, McSpy began to cut free of the ropes and dodging the raging griffon. After he freed himself, the ear piece of the mic came on. “McSpy, I have a plan, get by the door of the cage.” Gadget said. “What, why?” McSpy asked, confused. “Just do it!” McSpy got in front of the door to the cage. The griffon crouched, and then leaped toward the spy. “Duck!” Gadget yelled, as the cage door swung open. McSpy dropped to the ground and heard the screeching of the griffon as it went by. It then went ramped around the facility. “No Gadget, I think that’s a griffon.” McSpy joked when he saw the carnage of the pony guards the griffon was causing. McSpy then grabbed his stuff. The guards were too busy dealing with the griffon to notice. McSpy continued to gallop up the stairs to the control panel of Dr. Aqua’s machine. There was Aqua at the seat. “So, you have escaped my trap,” Dr. Aqua said, spinning around to face McSpy. “It’s over, Dr. Aqua!” McSpy yelled as he pointed his pistol at him. “Oh, but it’s just beginning,” said Dr. Aqua, spinning around and pushing a button. The screen turned flashing red and it said Self-Destruct activated. Then both containers, containing Princess Luna and the Alicorn Amulet, opened at the same time. Luna who was sleeping fell out of her container. McSpy turned to Aqua, then Luna, then back at Aqua, who started fleeing. McSpy shot the running Pegasus in the leg and the wing, then ran and shot a grappling hook at the ceiling, he swung to catch Luna. He then landed on the ground and looked back up to see if Dr. Aqua was still there, but he wasn’t. He had escaped. Chapter 7“Ahh, for the love of Celestia!” McSpy cursed in anger. The building was about to collapse, so McSpy flung Luna over his back and ran out the door. They got out, but he wasn’t far enough away from the blast, so he stopped and laid Luna down. He stood over her body to shield it from rubble and shrapnel. A very sharp and unbearable pain shot through his back when the shrapnel pierced it. His tux was torn and covered in blood. McSpy's vision turned blurry, he persisted to crawl after he put Luna on his back. Her unconscious body was being dragged across the ground as McSpy continued to crawl. His breathing began to get weaker and weaker by the second. After a minute or two, McSpy's eyelids became heavy to him. He stopped and closed his eyes, laying lifeless on the gravel floor. He then passed out. A pool of blood began to emerge around his body. *** About half an hour later, Luna woke up to the sight of a bruised, bloody, unconscious stallion in a torn tuxedo, beside her. He lifted herself up, and then picked up McSpy, then flew away. “Huh, wha-,” McSpy gasped as he woke up, his head and back ached with pain, he looked around and saw that he was in a hospital. He looked around more and saw Luna sitting closely beside the bed. Flowers were in a vase beside his bed. “We see that you are awake, this is most glorious!” Luna said excitedly. “Yeah, I guess so,” McSpy said, a little disappointed, remembering that Dr. Aqua escaped. “We would like to thank you for what you have done.” Luna said smiling. “Uhh, yeah, but I was only just doing my job.” “It was extraordinary that you saved us and the entire world at the same time, you are a hero.” Luna then gave McSpy a big, crushing hug which was painfully uncomfortable and made his spine make a cracking noise. McSpy winced in pain. “Oh, sorry.” Luna said, blushing. “It’s all right. I’ve handled much worse…trust me.” McSpy replied, trying to make her feel better. “Sorry, Princess, but you need to leave. Mr. McSpy needs to take his meds.” A nurse barged into the room. “That won’t be necessary, I’m fine,” McSpy said, getting up, but grunting in pain. “Are you sure sweetie?” The nurse asked to make sure. “Yes ma'am, I’m fine.” McSpy put his tuxedo back on. Then both Luna and McSpy walked down to the lobby, where Gadget was waiting for them. “McSpy am I glad to see you, I was worried sick. I thought you had died, but the doctor said you were okay, but I didn’t believe them,” Gadget rambled on, “Other than that, I’m really glad you’re okay.” “I’m glad to be alive too,” McSpy replied with a smile and a small laugh, “You and I make a pretty good team, I’d like to make you, not just my permanent partner, but my best friend.” A wide smile grew on Gadget's face, “Oooh, that would be an honor, friend.” “Alright then, let’s get out of here.” They all exited the building, and then Gadget turned to McSpy once more. “What now?” Gadget asked with a puzzled look on his face. “I think…we have earned a well-deserved vacation and some good old fashioned Apple Cider.” McSpy said. “Alright, come on then,” Gadget started walking and so did Luna. McSpy paused for a minute and took out his father’s medal, staring at it curiously for a minute, then it changed from curiosity to pride. “Hey McSpy are you coming?” Gadget yelled behind him. “Yeah, I’ll be there in just a second,” McSpy yelled back, he looked down at the medal one last time, and then put it back inside his pocket. EpilogueDr. Aqua was defeated by McSpy, but escaped the explosion. He ran for miles away from the burning scene. Sweat poured down his face. He eyes were red with exhaustion. His leg was still bleeding from the wound. He no longer had his lab coat on for it was lost in the explosion. But out of all of this all that went through his mind was McSpy. All he did was think of vengeance and limp across the grassy plains. The night sky was filled with stars. The light blue Pegasus was flustering with rage. Suffering from blood loss and dehydration, he could not fly. "This is your fault Four-Eyes!" Dr. Aqua cursed to himself. He then stopped limping. "How could one stallion beat me?!" He asked himself, deliriously. Maniacally. Soon he began to sob a little. "No, he didn't beat me, I'm still alive." He grinned, then chuckled, "I can still win! The game is not over!" He sounded completely out of his mind now. Dr. Aqua's laugh turned from evil to mad-scientist. "How can I beat a pony who is protected behind the walls of safety?" His slick blue mane waved in the wind as he thought for a minute, "That's it. I'll have to lure this McSpy from his base and into a trap, where he will finally meet his maker." The Pegasus laid his aching back onto the grass and stared up at the stars. "But how?" He finally asked, "By what means?" He laid there wondering how vast the universe could be. He smiled. "By train of course." Dr. Aqua laughed at the thoughts of his plan, "McSpy will soon meet his demise."

I’ll hang back here and provide you with technical support.”
Chapter 5McSpy rushed out to a taxi and gave the driver the directions.
