The Unknown Element

"Long ago before Celestia and Luna took power, and shortly after the three pony tribes made peace rose the fist capital of Equestria. With the new kingdom the three tribes had trouble deciding who there first royalty should be to the point of going back to fighting each other again. Until a new tribe of pony's rose up and claimed the throne in order to make peace.

No pony knew where they came from, only that they called them selves the Alicorns and they had powerful magic. Though they seemed viscous when they first came they did keep their promise of keeping the peace and harmony. The new princess ruled over the land with kindness and wisdom, like how a ruler should.

But without the other three pony tribes knowing the Alicorns created a weapon, though when they were found out the Alicorns assured them that the weapon would be only used to protect them from evil forces. The Alicorns even told them that they had even created a back up weapon in which they called it the Elements of Harmony, but refused to tell them what the primary weapon was or did. Once again the Alicorns did what they promised and only used the weapon to protect them from evil.

That was until the princess became ill, and in her fevered state she revealed that she had three daughters. She wanted to teach them how to use the mysterious weapon, but she was afraid she only had time to train one of them. So she used her remaining time to teach the eldest of her daughter how to tone herself with the weapon. There was also a rumor that just before she was bed ridden, that she had taught her two youngest a new magic that powered the Elements of Harmony. but most pony's thought just that it was rumor and quickly forgot about it when the princess finally passed.

For a little while after she died everypony grieved, and after they grieved they started to panic because they thought that the peace and harmony was over. Until the eldest finally took the throne and restored the peace as much as she could, and when the other pony tribes saw that this new princess was actually trying they accepted her as the next official ruler. With peace and harmony restored once again the four pony tribes relaxed and letting their guard down.

All pony's lived like that for two hundred years, until a powerful enemy popped into existence, one that could bend the magic of chaos to his will. He set his sights on the capital which of course held the only power that could stop him. When the princess heard that he was coming directly to them she evacuated the city and went to go meet him before he could enter the capital, in the hope of giving her citizens time to get out.

When she meet this new threat it was just outside the main gates of the capital, when she asked who he was and what he was he answered with a mischievous smile. His name is Discord and what he was is what he called a draconess, but it's who he said he was before his transformation for he was Starswirl the Bearded. In a fit of anger and betrayal she made the first strike. It wasn't because of what he was doing to the land it was the thought of a one who she thought she could trust like family giving into his greed for power. For he had told her that the reason he was like that now was because he was trying to become an Alicorn so he could have that much magic.

The two of them battled for hours, both sides seemed to be tied in strength until Discord used his power of chaos to trick the princess, by creating a duplicate of himself and while her attention on the clone he appeared above her and sent her flying into a tower. As the tower collapsed in on itself most of the Alicorns took up arms and started to fight this threat. The ones that didn't go into combat started to dig up their princess for they knew she was their only hope to defeat him.

When they finally found the princess they took her to a castle out in the woods that their mother had built in case of an emergency. Once there the two younger sisters came out to help.They carried their older sister to her quarters and called upon the best doctor they could find. When he came out he told the two sisters that she had regain consistence and told them not to let her go back into the battle.

So when the two sisters entered they saw their eldest sister looking at them from her bed. Though no words were exchanged the three sisters had come upon an understanding, and the two younger sisters helped her outside and let her fly off. Though before she took off she did tell her younger sisters to stay there, and also told them what the magic that their mother taught them would power the Elements. The two sisters were to shocked when their eldest sister said that, not because they didn't know what the magic was for because they had already been practicing with the Elements, it was because they knew that she wasn't planning on coming back.

By the time the two younger sisters started to follow i was to late as they see a great explosion of magic directly above the kingdom.When the light of the magic explosion vanished the two younger sisters couldn't believe what was before their eyes. The entire kingdom was gone, completely replaced with a forest. They scanned the horizon to see if they could spot their sister but the only one they saw was Discord, they could here him laughing at his victory and the two sisters flew off.

Where did they fly off to, nopony knows. While they were gone Discord took over and tortured the three pony tribes that remained. When the two sisters finally came back they saw the suffering that he was causing and even though they had already planned to over through him they now saw even more reason to defeat him. But when the two sisters confronted him it seemed he expected them.

He seemed to know exactly what they were doing all of these years, for they didn't just run out of fear they ran because they knew that their only hope of saving this land they would have to master the elements. He reminded them that not even their most powerful weapon couldn't stop him. That's when he made his move as he aimed for the youngest sister who dodge as fast as she could, and the battle began.

The battle rage on for what seemed like days, both sides almost completely exhausted. When the pony's who had been enslaved saw how tired discord was they decided to help the two sisters with all three tribes using their own kind of magic to help battle him. The Unicorns were casting spells, the Pegasus were sending tornadoes and storm clouds at him, and the Earth pony's had somehow built many catapults and were firing giant boulders. This giving the sisters time to replenish their energy.

When they had built back up their energy and strength back they went fought Discord once again, telling the three tribes to run and take cover.They engaged him one last time managing to get the upper hand  on him. But before they used the Elements he made one last desperate plea. This plea was that he could bring back the other Alicorns and their sister.

He opened a portal and said that he couldn't destroy them because their sister was to strong for him, so he sent them to another dimension. The two sisters did hesitate for a second but decided that it would not be worth it for them to leave this world and let this beast continue his reign. So they used the elements to trap him in stone, but what they didn't realize is when the magic of the elements hit discord it had also hit the portal and maid it turn to stone as well.

They soon realized that the portal was still open. When they entered they were greeted by their eldest sister. Though their sister told them that they couldn't return the kingdom for it would take that same magic energy that sent them there to get back. But the citizens could travel freely through the portal though many decided to stay including their sister. She told them to go back and reclaim power and hide the portal she would let them know when a citizen wants to move there.

So the two sisters became the new princesses of Equestria and once again brought peace and harmony back to the land. The elder of the two took the responsibility of raising the sun while the youngest took to raising the moon. From then on they were known as the Princess of the Sun Celestia and the Princess of the Night Luna." I look around to see all of the young filly's and colts expressions of shocked and awe. " And that is the history of were i come from. Any questions?"

"Uhh, yeah if that's all true then how come no pony has ever heard of that kingdom or even Princess Celestia having a older sister?" I couldn't tell who had asked though.

"Well the reason being is because all three of the princesses agreed to keep everything secret about them having an older sister and about the portal. Believe it or not my people have been coming here for centuries, and the reason why i'm aloud to tell you guys this is because i'm the prince of this kingdom and i got my mom to let me tell everypony about it." I said with a proud smile on my face.

"Wait if your the prince why did you grow up here in Ponyville Mr. Song?" Cheerilee asked.

"Well i think that's a story for another time, because it seems that school is out." Right as i said that all of the class erupted in both excitement for school being out and disappointment that they couldn't hear me tell them why i was raised in Ponyville.

"So are you going to answer my question?" Cheerilee asked trying to pry the answer out of me.

"Well let's just say my mother wanted me to and so did i. What i mean is that my people always knew about the portal and we knew we could go through anytime we wanted, but the reason why i came was because my mom thought it could teach me somethings about being a leader. I wanted to move here because i wanted a change of scenery." I answered. "Oh hey Applejack wait up." I said thanking Applejack silently for giving me an excusse to not finish answering the questions i know she had stored up.
