Twilight begins to experience odd dreams. Over time, they appear to be visions of a strange gadget, that becomes clearer every night. She is unsure of what it all means, but it feels like something, or someone is giving her these visions. In time, she begins to record what she sees every night, until a horrible, picture comes to reality.

Meanwhile, a strange, insane demon shows up in ponyville. He calls himself Jaqcues, and claims to be a noble of the Dragon Realms. However, he quickly causes problems and is driven out, whilst he begins to reside on his own while screwing with any pony unlucky enough to come in his crosshairs.

The events are much more related than you think.
