Chapter 8:The Demon meteor shower

I picked up the newspaper in front of my house.The main title says"Demon meteor shower will strike this morning!"

I burned the paper into dust with my magic and proceeded to walk.Not much of steps later,Rarity showed up in front of me with a worried face.

"Kenny dear!Hide!"She yelled.A red burning stone came from the sky and it is heading towards her.Before it could reach her,I pulled her behind me and caught that stone with my face.As it crumbled into pieces,one of the piece hitted Rarity's arm.We both yelled in pain because it really fucking hurt.Her arm turned red."I can't move it..."She shivered.She tried to move her arm again...But it failed...But the meteor doesn't seems to did anything to me.

"C'mon Rarity,lets get you to hospital..."I tried to spread my wings.Nothing happened."Okay..Lets try teleporting!"I tried..Nothing again.."I GOT NO POWER!!!"

"Oh my...Kent,you have no magic in you..."Twilight said with a suprised face.Rarity is still on the bed,her arm is still in pain.

"Is there anything I can do for her?"I asked Twilight.

"Well,there's a vial of potion in the timberwolves' den...But its the only one and the place could kill you when you're close to it..."Twilight walked over to Rarity.Pinkie Pie and the others can only cry at Rarity's situation,especially Spike.

"There's only one thing to do..."I turned to Twilight."Teleport me there!"

"NO!You'll die!"Twilight protested.

"Dammit!I'll do anything for her okay!I've could have block that stone..She's my responsibility!"I stomped the hard wooden floor.

"Please,Kent..."Twilight placed her hand at my shoulder.I grabbed her horn.

"Semith Nokh!"I chanted.Her horn glowed.

Kent's gone...Leaving the girls and Spike in the room.

"Where is Kent?"Rarity said with a sore voice.

"He...he teleported to the den!!"Twilight panicked.She saw a light at the sky above Everfree Forest.It was Kent,he is falling straight towards the Timberwolves' den.The others saw him too.

"Kent!!"Fluttershy screamed through the window.

Falling from the sky.A timberwolf stood below me.I pointed my fist at it and-

*BOOM!!!*

A loud crash of a fist meets a head with a massive impact.I think I broke my right arm.Some other wolves surrounded me.I took a thick branch and began to attack my way through.In the middle of the den,a huge vial with orange glowing fluids in it placed on a stone wrapped in vines.I quickly snatched it and began to run.

A wolf pounced me.

One hour later

The girls only stood in silence and tears.In their mind,Kent is now a dead man.Rarity is the one who cried the most...well,besides Fluttershy of course.Within moment,several knocks came from the patient's room door.Twilight opened and saw Kent,bleeding here and there and a huge vial in his hand...and his hand have a hole in it....

"I..g-got it..."He said before falling on the floor.The cries became louder.

After they gave Rarity the potion,they gave the rest of it to Kent..Who is almost died.Rarity now is cured,but she is worried about Kent.

"Girls,can you please wait outside...I need some time alone..."She said with a lot of sobbing.The others including Spike walked out of the room with down faces.Rarity stared at Kent's face.She leaned closer and kissed unconcious Kent's lips.After a minute,she pulled back.She sat beside Kent's bed.

"I'll stay here for you..."She whispered.

She fell asleep.

I woke up,feeling better.But,my lips felt very warm somehow for no reason.My powers are back but unfortunately my leg is still hurt.I looked beside me and saw Rarity sleeping on a stool.

'How long did she stayed here?'

'I don't care...doesn't matter anyway..Lets kill her.."

'Ares,Kent is now having his private time now..Lets let him be.."

'I suppose I'll have to wait to be set free then...'

I touched her beautiful mane.She smiled a little.Sweet girl...I kissed her forehead and picked her up.I lied her down beside me to make her feel comfortable.

Rarity woke up and realised that she is sleeping beside Kent.And she is cuddling him in her sleep.

'Oh my gosh!He let me sleep beside him!'

She screamed mentally.She decided not to bother Kent anymore and went home.It is night,which is cold and also beautiful.She sat on her bed,thinking of Kent.

'I love him...but...no,I must tell him..not now,unfortunately.'

Spike lied on his bed,awake.She became more angry and screamed into his pillow.

'WHY DID SHE KISSED HIM!!?'

He was jealous when he peeked through the window during Rarity kissed Kent this afternoon.And which is at the second floor.He began to calm down...

'But,I didn't do anything to help her...'

A tear fell down his cheek.He cried so hard to his sleep.

The next morning

Yea!My leg is now normal again!

I checked out through the counter and headed towards the door.I opened it and suprised to saw the girls and Spike waiting for me at the entrance.

"YAY!Kent is now okay!"Pinkie Pie hugged me.Followed by the others.

They let me go to catch my breath.When I lifted my head up,Rarity gave me a peck at my lips and quickly pulled away.

"Thanks for your help,darling..."She said with a very red cheek.I saw Spike pulling his jaw with his both hands.What is wrong with that kid anyway?Meanwhile,the others did

weird faces.

"Whats wrong?"

"Nothing....?"Rainbow Dash made a fake smile

"Ah just thought that ah saw a ghost behind ya..eheheh...(I lied)"Applejack said.I didn't hear her last sentence.Pinkie Pie sudenly stood in front of my face.

"LETS HAVE A 'No longer sick' PARTY!!!"She said with a megaphone that came out of nowhere.

I took another huge gulp from my cider.Damn it was sweet.I can't really believe that I actually lost my powers...I guess...I killed a whole pack of gigantic wolves with a stick!How's that even freaking possible!?

*Sigh*I really need a break.

'Dude,just finish the chapter here...'
