Equestria's Moons
Study is Magic
Previous ChapterThat was all Sunrise Read that day, she wondered if that legend was true. She put the book away, but thoughts still were going on. That night Sunrise had a strange dream, at least that was what she thought it was, although it was real; In her window she could see a blue alicorn shape in the distance. It reminded her of Princess Luna, only it was not.
Sunrise sighed, she had a busy day; Every pony was in a bad mood and acting... Strange! Acting so strange... Just like in the book! Sunrise got out the book, studing the golden letters spelling Equestria Legend written on it. She was looking at the book for a long time when a little paper fell out, a very old looking paper.
Dear Note,
These words on this paper were supposed to originally
be writtien to my derest mentor, Princess Celestia. I love her,
and would always obey her since I was just a filly. I would like
to thank my future relations, and if you are the one who is reading
this note, you are the one reading this book. This book had many
copies, but this copy was the original book, written
with love and hope to good hands. That means you are
“The Lucky One.” You are the only one I could explain
what really happened. To be honest I don't know myself, and
if something happened to youmaybe we are even related
Twilight Sparkle, May, 22, 2013.
Sunrise was shocked, could she be the lucky one? Wow! The note was written over hundreds of years! Was Sunrise really Twilight Sparkles ansester? What did really happen? More questions kept going on in her head. And she became more nervous. Sunrise had an idea, tomorrow she will see Celesia
She had to find out, that note was written over hundreds of years ago!
Princess Celestia was still alive, but really old now, her little sister, Luna died a year
ago and Luna's daughter took over the moon. Celestia's son took over the sun. Celesia's granddaughter, Star Spark was one of the only ones left. talked to Sunrise and then she went to see the princess.
“It says about you.” said Star. Celestia first frowned when she read it then didn't, “She was my favorite student,” the princess replied. “Me and Twilight wrote this book and note after strange things began to happen,” Celestia explained,
“And guess what?” Celestia wanted to say something. Sunrise's eyes went open.
“I'm not sure you are ready for me to tell you this.”
“Just tell me.”
“SHE was your great grand mother!” Sunrise was shocked, once again. She was an eath pony, and she was an ancestor of a princess. She later went home, thinking about things more and more. Sunrise forgot to ask other questions, oh well, she could ask them tomorrow.
The next day she returned. “Princess Celestia,” Sunrise bowed, “What really did happen?”
“I don't know...”
“But you're an alicorn!”
“But, I don't, none of us do.”
“Than who does? Isn't there anything more powerful than you?”
“Yes there is, don't forget.”
Celestia now became like a mentor, to Sunrise. From now on Sunrise loved to study, and always read legendary books. When Sunrise had a question, she would ask Celestia. One day, when she was trotting over to the palace, the royal guard didn't let Sunrise in. He wouldn't tell why. Sunrise was worried.
Sunrise kept begging the Royal guard in, and on the third day he let her. When she entered everything was quiet. “Celestia?” Sunrise called and sort of broke the huge silence. She saw Princess Star Spark trotting over to her. “What's going on?” Sunrise questioned. Star Spark hugged Sunrise with her wing, “Sorry.” Sunrise just knew.
Sunrise didn't do anything that day, for a week. Next Monday Sunrise felt confident enough to start a new book, even though Equestria was quiet. Next month she trotted back to the palace. The royal guards first said next month, but still let Sunrise in.
There she saw Star Spark again, she still looked as if she had cried. “Sunrise,” “Princess,” They said at the same time, “Will you be my student?!” “Will you be my mentor?” They said at the same time again. They touched each other's hoofs. A sudden light came, they were mentor and student.
