Striped Madness
It Came From The Skies
Load Full StoryIt was a day like any other in the small town called Nod's Limbs. The sun shone brightly over the sickly sweet town as the birds chirped happily in the trees. It seemed as if everyone in Nod's Limbs had something to do, the towns people were everywhere either going to work or shopping. They all had their mind set on something, including the twins who lived in the tall eerie mansion on the hill at the very top of Nod's Limbs. Everything within a mile radius of the home was terrifying and most civilians stayed away from the mansion. Inside, a boy and a girl laughed evilly at their latest invention. "This may be your best idea yet, brother." the girl said to her twin, admiring his work. "Agreed, sister. Not only can we be the King and Queen of pranking in Nod's Limbs but we can be the King and Queen of pranking in an all new dimension!" he said, smirking while holding the piece of metal close. It had a few dials on it and a bright red button, aswell as a few switches. The two siblings stood inside the brother's lab, full of potions and invention ideas, where they were finishing the final touches on their latest creation. The twins had pale white skin and a evil smile painted on their faces. Their hair was midnight black and messy, they had dark circles under their eyes and wore fuzzy striped footie pajamas. They were both 12 years old, the sister older by 2 minutes and 13 seconds. Their names were Edgar and Ellen, and they lived alone in the large, dark mansion, their only company being themselves, their weird creature they had named Pet and their creepy caretaker Heimertz, which they usually avoided. As Edgar finished screwing in the last screw he held up the box of metal. "Finally! This took longer than expected but it'll be totally worth it if it works." He said, smiling evilly at his work. "What do you mean IF it works? Edgar, I thought you said there'd be no way this would fail!" Ellen scolded, giving her brother a shove. Edgar rolled his eyes and turned to Ellen, "Well the only way to know is to test it." he sneered. Ellen growled but then walked over to Edgar to take a look herself. "So, how does it work?" Ellen asked, reaching for the creation only to be slapped away by Edgar. "It? *It* has a name, it's call the Dimension Skipper 9000!" He said boldly, holding it up. Ellen stared at him and rolled her eyes, "That's the cheesiest name I've ever heard!" She laughed. Edgar gave her a glare but then smiled, "If you must know, when I press this button here," He said gesturing to the big, shiny, red button, "It'll open a portal and we can jump in!" He said proudly. Ellen thought for a moment and then said, "Isn't that a bit dangerous? What if the portal is huge and sucks up all of Nod's Limbs?" She said in a slightly worried manner. Edgar chuckled and then clicked the button, "It won't." As soon as he hit the button, sparks flew out of the top. The sparks were a light red and got deeper in color as the sparks grew in size, eventually taking the shape of a laser and zapping the floor beneath their feet. Suddenly, the twins were sucked into the portal, screaming as they feel into the unknown dimension. Pet heard their cries and fled to the lab where he saw the portal, shrinking in size. He took action immediately, jumping into the large red portal before it disappeared with a loud pop.

"Spike!" Twilight yelled, trotting down the stairs. The lavender unicorn looked for her purple dragon assistant but he was nowhere to be seen. "Spike?!" she yelled once again, checking every nook and cranny of the library. "I'm right here Twilight!" Spike said, running in from the front door. "Spike! Where were you? I was worried sick and couldn't find you." Twilight said, rushing over to the dragon to hear his explanation. "Well I had to go see Applejack, she had a pr--" He was interrupted by a whoosh of green flame that came out of his mouth, followed by a scroll. "A letter from Princess Celestia!" Twilight said, immediately taking the note and placing it on the floor for her to read.
"To my faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. My royal guard have took notice in a large storm forming on the outskirts of Ponyville. It is not your everyday storm, it is a chaos storm. This is a case of utter emergency, 2 new chaotic ponies have made their way into our world. We have no personal information of them but we know you are the only one to be able to stop them. I would go myself but I most keep monitoring the area to make sure no other entities find their way into Equestria. I believe in you. Signed, Princess Celestia" Twilight immediately levitated her saddlebag onto her back and rushed to the door, Spike following at her heels. Before she left, she took her Element Of Harmony out of her saddlebag and put it on. She stopped at Applejack's house first, then Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie and finally Rainbow. They all had their Elements around their necks and were prepared to use them as they cautiously made their way out of Ponyville. "I just can't believe we are gettin' more trouble. I thought we put an end to this kinda stuff when we turned Discord good." Applejack spoke, clearly nervous. "I can't either, I just hope that these chaotic ponies, or whatever they might be, aren't as bad as Discord." Twilight said, shaking her head in disbelief. "I say that no matter what their intentions are, we are gonna kick some flank!" Rainbow said, bucking an non-existent pony. "Rainbow, don't jump too far ahead. Maybe we can convert them to good, like Discord." Twilight said, scolding Rainbow. She huffed and did a twirl in the air, "Well, I'm always prepared for the worst." She said. Fluttershy was silent, walking slowly at the back of the group. She was very nervous about the whole ordeal but she chose not to say anything. It was for the best. Twilight stopped and looked up, red clouds circling high above them. "Here we are." Twilight said, taking a seat. "Well, where are they?" Rainbow said impatiently. "Princess Celestia said that they'll be here any second." Twilight said, tensing herself as she prepared for the chaotic creature's arrival. Suddenly a large portal opened up as the red clouds swirled madly around it, making a very loud whirring sound. There were faint screams coming from the portal, they grew louder as they got closer to the ground. Then two pale fillies popped out of the portal, screaming and flailing as they hit the ground with a thud. Then a hairy, blue mop with an eye fell through the portal, landing on top of the fillies without a noise. The fillies were scary looking to say the least. They had striped pajamas that looked as if they had been ripped off past the waist area, leaving a striped shirt. They both had bright red eyes and were unusually tall and lanky for young fillies. They moaned as they slowly woke up, lifting their heads. "Told you it'd work, sister." Edgar said, trying to get a look at where they were. "Ugh, get off me brother! You tail is in my face." Ellen complained, struggling to get out. They both froze, obviously coming to a conclusion. "Sister. Did you just say tail?" Edgar asked, not moving an inch.Ellen nodded slowly. They both stood and turned to look at each other. They screamed and feel back, pointing at each other with a hoof. "We're horses!" They said at the same time, voices cracking. After a while of examining their new bodies they were tackled to the ground by Twilight, she was growling at them. They fell on their backs, staring helplessly at the older pony. "Stop right there you chaotic beasts!" Twillight exclaimed. "Umm, Twilight dear. They're fillies, not beasts." Rarity said, resting a hoof on Twilight's shoulder. The twins smirked and, in unison, kicked the pony off them and fled, wobbling around on their hooves. "Steady....steady now....ARGH!" Edgar yelled, tumbling forward, knocking his sister off her hooves. "Watch it, brother!" Ellen yelled, trying to stand. "It's not my fault, sister!" Edgar retorted, scraping the ground, trying to get some assistance in standing. The twins were still getting used to their new body structure, walking on four legs was a whole lot more difficult then walking on two. Before the siblings had time to react, a purple aura surrounded them, lifting the twins into the air. They helplessly kicked and struggled to get free, being lifted closer to the multicolored pony group. "These little rascals put up quite a fight, how do you plan on taking them back to your home Twi?" Rainbow asked, crossing her arms infront of her chest. Twilight thought for a moment and a few seconds later her horn started glittering a deep shade of blue and struck the twins, wrapping around them in a snake-like form and fading away. "Sister? Are you feeling kind of...sleepy?" Edgar yawned, his struggles getting weaker. Ellen nodded before dozing off into a deep slumber. The twins were then carried away by Twilight and her spell, unaware of the events that would happen the very next morning, when they awoke in Ponyville.
