"SISTERS WE HAVE THEM ON THE RUN"
RATATATAATATATATATATATATATATATATAT. The heavy bolter's fired rending flesh and bone. A louder voice yelled back
"TURN BACK YOU DOGS, TURN BACK AND FIGHT OR I WILL TORTURE YOU IN THE BASILLICA OF TOURMENTS MYSELF".
BOOM. SZHAP SZHAP SZHAP. The las-gun shots struck the holy Power Armour of the sisters of battle. HsssssssWHOOOOSH. A heavy flamer lit up burning the heretic ponies, The sisters continued despite the screams of the victims, Begs for mercy were met with power armored hooves.
"SISTERS PURGE THEM IN THE EMPRESSES NAME"
Wrapped in a purple glow the Canoness charged into the Frey of the fighting. Heads decapitating limb's severing bones crushing under the force of the relentless fury. Then it came. A great daemon of discord stepped forward in front of the unrelenting force. With but a gesture of its talons a squad of sisters were twisted. Their bodies exploding in a shower of gore from thousands of instantaneous mutations. Empress save their souls.
This is where the song of battle reached its climax, Artillery shells and other ordinance were like massive deafening bass drums. The screams of the dying and wounded were the choir, The rending of metal providing some type of a string section. And the gunfire was like a mass of military drums, thousands of them. The screams of the daemons victims caught the attention of the Canoness. The dance of two mighty foes began. One sick corrupted monstrosity a symbol of slaughter, fear and death. The other a shining light of purity, A warrior of the light of the empress.
With intent to win the battle the two foes clashed, The Canoness struck first. A strong hearty swing of her massive five foot blade intended to sever the head missed by the ever crafty and quick opponent that was a great daemon of discord now with a trimmed left horn. The daemon took two swipes inward. Catching the blade in its grasp. WHOOOOOSH.
"BURN WHERE THOU STAND MONSTROCITY".
The Canoness used what was left in the tank of her flame pistol, Although it was effective against the unprotected heretics giving them a long painful death the daemon simply laughed a laugh of evil. Fatal mistake. It gave the Canoness enough time to see the daemon dropped her blade on the blood soaked sand. These two had fought thrice before, Three times the purple furred Canoness killed the vile beast, The last time only just with her life. This would be no different.
"WHY DO YOU NEVER STAY DOWN?"
The Canoness yelled at the beast as she ran towards the daemon Picking up her sword in her telekinesis along the way. Now she would fight on her terms, Enough of a gap was allowed for this trick. The Canoness Ran towards the beast her blade low. The beast prepared to be attacked. One step, the Canoness lowered herself to a height lower than the gap between its legs, Two step slide under the gap between the legs. By this time the daemon had realized what was about to happen, there was no way he could catch her. And her immunity to the warp didn't help ether. Three step the Canoness now facing the beasts back jumped upon it at the neck. Four step the blade came down strait into the neck. Pain seared through the beast causing it to go into a blood frenzy.
The beast grabbed the Cannoness from its back hoping to take the bitch with him. Ripping huge chunks in her back and throwing her onto the ground. Hoping to crush her a squad of battle sisters intervened, The bolt of super-heated plasma struck with the force to counter the beasts momentum. Making it land opposite to its victim. Canoness Twilight sparkle lost sight as her warriors and her Honor guard surrounded her stopping Anypony thinking to take her life
Three days passed
Sand swept, Blood soaked, Battle scarred. The three best ways to describe the battlefield Canoness Twilight Sparkle surveyed the battle long dead. Leader of her order, Grand Martial of her order, The order of the blessed warrior. The blood of the recent battle just passed flowed down the sand dunes and into the oasis, Many of her Battle Sisters died here . But the forces of discord, Vile heretics and mutants, Traitors and pirates, They all died here.
Their corrupted tanks were being melted down by the Tech-Mares of the Adeptus Mechanicus, The bodies burned through the purity of flamethrower and faith, faith in the goddess, She who has sat on the golden throne of her palace, Her resting place for the last ten thousand years.
Twilight, Canoness Twilight named after one of the greatest Unicorns to ever live. Archnomancer Twilight Sparkle . Student and most trusted of advisers of the Empress second only to Luna, she who stood at the siege of the palace of the empress. She who lived a martyr, she who died a saint. Died at the hands of the Discordian forces. But when she died it was after the deaths of several thousand heretics.
Sugarcube spoke as she approached her superior, "Is it time O Blessed warrior?". Twilight looked around for several minutes Sugarcube remaining quiet,
Finally the voice of the ancient one spoke as if she were still in her twenties. "Yes, The time has come and sister Blueberry shall be released from her duty and join the goddess in eternal worship." Twilight looked around her body Many deep wounds although no longer bleeding would fester should she delay, No, Never, The purity of her mind and body were in the name of eternal service. Twilight turned towards Sugarcube
"The ritual shall take a few minutes, Have the adepts and acolytes watch living proof of their Orders name… But Sugarcube, Are you sure?, The ritual although sacred is painful, and you will be trapped till your service ends, When I know not, Only the empress knows."
"I would have it no other way O blessed warrior"
Twilight looked down at the sand. "I'm sorry you didn’t last more than three decades in my service Blueberry. May the empress smile upon your soul" A tear of sorrow ran down the purple face of Twilight Sparkle.
Ten minutes passed as the young fillies and acolytes of the order of the blessed warrior stared at twilight in amazement, many of the hundreds of battle sisters to be were talking to each other or singing a hymn. Everypony fell silent as Sugarcube clad in the Power Armour of twilight sparkle walked up to the owner of the Power Armour. Saying a short prayer to the empress Sugarcube laid down her head for the last time. Twilight Sparkle's horn glowed and sparked, After a minute the light was almost blinding, Then the horn touched the head of Sugarcube.
Sand swept, Blood soaked, Battle scarred. The three best ways to describe the patch of land where Sugarcube once was, and where twilight sparkle now was in the same power armour. The night was quiet disturbed by the hymns of the 100,000 strong order of the blessed warrior
