Chapters Prologue
The car made a low rumble as it drove over the gravel road and under the trees. The trees overhung above causing a tunnel of sorts. In this car three friends were driving cross-country. They were planning this for months just for the right time when they could get together and the weather was right. The friends were a mixed bunch but still were friends all the same. The best of friends even.
Driving the car was a young man at the ripe age of twenty two. He was warring a green flannel with jeans. His name was Rickard but Rick to his friends. His Dark almost black hair came close to his shoulders if not in a pony tail that he wore more often then not. His eyes a brown that were covered by glasses that he wore.
In the passenger seat was Conner the oldest of the group by one year. He had a white hoodie and jeans as well. His hair was curly and brown eyes to match. Upon his eyes were a pair of black rimmed glasses.
Last but not least was Joseph but in fact preferred to be called Joe. Graduating same year as Rick they were the same age, along with being good friends along with Conner. Joe had on one of his favored blue polos and along with the rest jeans. His hair was light dirty brown with matching brown eyes.
It has been about three hours since they left Pennsylvania and working on south Ohio. The Friends were silent but were united through the music that was being played through the radio. Rick tapped at the cars wheel to the song . Conner and Joe could not help but move to the music.
Joe was the first to speak "This has to be the only Nicklback song I like. You know?"
"I never really liked Nicklback but they do have a few good songs" Conner said
Rick held a hand up and said "Once. there was a band called Nickleback they were soooo bad... every one died."
"I think you're missing the bigger question. Is this the Krusty crab?" Conner joked back
"I think you know the answer to that." Rick joked with a deadpanned expression
"Umm... I- I don't get it." Joe said confused
"Come on really?" Rick said sadly but more disappointed then any thing.
"See that's why were the funny ones" Conner
"Ok man, he is funny som-" Rick was cut off by him self
It's * FRIDAY FRIDAY***
Rick did not notice the song come on until he herd those words and let out an exaggerated yell and quickly turned of the ratio

The storm was getting worse. With every thunders crack made a certain baby dragon wish he could sink farther into his covers. True that in a town of all ponies that loved him, something simple as a bad thunder storm still made him fear the worst.
The door to the library opened with a low creek.
The Storm already getting to his head. He could not help but think of the door just let in. Oh no. It could be anypony. it's probably just Twilight. yea Twilight. But he could not dismiss it so easy. or it could be the headless horse pony, or-or the pony with the rusty horseshoe. and with that he pull the rest of his covers to hide his head.
"Spike? you home?" said a voice from down stairs
"T-Twilight? Is that you?" he said voice all horse
"Don't tell me the storm's getting to you to? Pinkie said this is the storm to end all storms. What a mare, am I right?"
Spike slowly descended the stairs and softly said "yea, she's silly"
"It has. Spike how many times to I have to tell you? Storms can't hurt you. Well... they can but! not in here"
"I-I know but, they still scare me." Spike said shyly
"Don't worryy lets go up stairs and we can sleep the storm away."
"I tried but I couldn't fall asleep!"
Twilight sighed "you know what I'll make you deal" A slight smile formed on her face. "I'll read you a story"
"But you haven't done that in years?"
"I Know"
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?" Conner yelled covering his ears
"Yea man THE HELL?" Joe chipped in
"What do you mean?" Rick ask cocking his head a bit to the side.
"What you just did there!" Conner said angry but not yelling
"Did you not just hear that song?"
"You mean 'Friday' so it just a song."
"The one song besides 'Royals ' that makes me want to murder someone!"
The sound of loud TWAP could be herd in the car as Conner face palmed. Even he would never admit it he did find Rick quick lazily jokes of the moment funny.
Spike was in his bed. Curled up and blanket over him he was like a foal that was ready for there bed time story. Twilight sat next to him a book in her magic.
Yes it was true that Twilight had not read Spike a book for a long time. But, this day was different Spike wasn't this scared.... well Twilight couldn't remember the last time Spike was ever like this.
"So what's the story?" Spike ask
"It's 'The Strangers That Were Ever So Strange'" Twilight was never real big on fiction books. But this was Spikes favoret.
A wide grin was plastered on his face as she started to read.

Once upon a time there were three strangers. These strangers were some of the best friends! They might of had there fights but they stuck together. No matter how long it took...
"Coonnneerrrr! how long till we get to the next motel?" Rick wined
"I don't know! You're the one driving!"

or annoying it was they were always friends! But one day they went on a trip. They wanted to go all over equestria. But something went wro-
I though he'd stay up longer then that? Twilight thought and with that went to bed.
"Were. are. UNDER. TREES!!!" Conner yelled
"Then we'll out from under them" Rick retorted
"For the love of god stop your bickering" Joe groaned
"Thank YOU! And for you! just fricking DRIVE!!" Conner growled
"You know what guys"
"What?" Conner and Joe said
"What if right now we were on a hidden camera show? or if were part of an epic? and were get sucked onto an alien plant and have to get home but we. ALL. DIE!" and with that let out a evil laugh. but cut it short to look back at his friends faces.
And as always Conner was face palming and Joe was trying his best not to break out into a fit of laughter
"You have to be the worst kind of person there is. You know that?" Conner muttered
"Yes, yes I know" Rick said proudly
After that ordeal they continued there driving. Now and then Rick would point at something out and make a joke about it. It ended with mixed results. Sometimes they would laugh or just stare. At some point Conner fell asleep.
"-and that's how I broke both my legs an arm and my left hand"
"WOW... uh... that's just-uh... wow" Joe said shocked
"I know right! it hurt like hell for a months !" Rick said exaggerating month.
"ye~ah "
"And speaking of months last month I was on-" his voice was drowned out by a white noise.
"TURN OFF THE RADIO RICK!!!"
"IT AIN'T ON!!!"
"WHA-" Then they blacked out
The ground was soking wet. load cracks or thunder could be herd.
The hell happened? Conner thought I fall asleep and we- we... what did happen? well I was asleep... did we crash?
Crack
okay... Thunder yeah I bet we crashed... wait if we crash then why am I just sitting here! Come on sit up- - - -
Holyshit that's harder then I thought... okay just open your eyes... Conner slowly opened his eyes Thank god it's not mid day or I might have been blinded
His head was pounding. As well strangely he felt extremely weak but as well hurt all over. Raising a hoof he rubbed his temples...Wait... HOOF!!! Conner jumped. Casing him to hit the roof of the car. But it didn't bother him. He just fumbled with the door handle and ran out of the Jeep.
"WHAT THE FU-"

"I'M A HORSE!!!" At this point Conner was hyperventilating. "Shitshitshitshitshitthiscan'tbehap- " Smack "Oww!" Conner yelled look to the pony who hit him.
"Calm the hell down Conner" said the brown unicorn
Conner froze how did this horse know his name Conner's mouth opened and close a few times before it chimed in again
"It's Rick" it deadpanned
"OH Thank god your here man! I'm A HORSE"
Rick gave Conner a disappointed look before starting up again "Out of all people I would think you would know what we are."
"What do you mean?"
"...Mlp"
"..."
"..."
Conner's eyes widened as he look at his body. He was a paper white Pegasus. His tail was short and the color was an emerald green. Runner to the car's side view mirror Green eyes met his. His mane was the same color as his tail. "YOU GOT TO BE FU-"
Crack
"Big Mac did ya hear that?" An orange farm pony asked her brother
"Nope"
"It sounded like a pony yellin' hmm... musta been my imagination"
"DUDE! calm. down." Rick said with his hoofs on his shoulders
"Calm. calm?! how are YOU CALM . YOU'RE A PONY TO YA KNOW"
"I know."
"you know" Conner dead panned "No tears no nothing? no yelling no freaking out?"
"Dude I went through the seven stages of grief already"
"HOW LONG WERE YOU UP?"
"About... um... eleven hours"
Conner only replied with his right eye twitching
"But on the up side it looks like I slapped you out of second stage" Rick said happily "but let get Joe" as rick walked to the jeep Conner took a better look at him. He was a brown unicorn. his tail and mane were a brown much like his coat. His mane was strange it looked like he greased it forward.
Rick pulled Joe out of the car. Joe was unfazed by this he WAS just passed out. He was light grey earth pony his mane was brushed back. It's color was a darker grey and his eye were a light blue. Rick gave him a few good slaps to the face (to wake him up). He eventually woke up
"Good mornin' sleeping beauty"
"uh... hey?"
"it's me... Rick"
"Really?"
"yeah and you're a pony to"
"...WHAT!!!"
Chapter 2: A plain
"WHAT?!" Joe screamed loudly
"Yeah I now it's a lot-" Rick said sitting down but was cut off by Joe.
"Nonononononono! This, THIS can't be happening" Rick said aloud
"First stage" Rick whispered to Connor
"It's CAN'T or-or could it? oh GOD! my brother, my mom shill be devastated"
"Second" Rick said to Connor "don't worry, she'll be fine" He said to Joe
"YOU " Joe hissed "If YOU didn't take me on this stupid trip I'd still be there!"
Rick looked down "I know..." Joe stared angrily at Rick
Conner cleared his throat "Come on, Joe. He's not in the wrong hear. No one is!"
Joe looked away. His head drooped down as he looking at his hoofs "Yeah I know it's just-"
"I know" Rick said setting a hoof on his shoulder and pulling him in a hug
"Come on man I'm not gay" Joe said with a chuckle pushing him away
"Now that's over with. Lets think of a plain" Connor said with a sigh
Rick jumped up "Yea! lez do dis! ... but first lets get under some cover I soaked"
They took shelter from the storm under a large willow tree that was close by. Conner sat down on his haunches and let his wet mane droop down onto his face. Joe tried his best to 'brush' off the water from his coat with a hoof. He then said down. Rick on the other hand just did what felt natural and shook it off like a dog.
Conner gave a soft cough before he spoke "ok, so what's the plain?"
Joe raised an eyebrow at this "hey you're the pony guy here"
"Hey man-"
Rick cut off Conner "Well ... from what I can tell is that we have a few things we can do. One. run straight up to Twilight, Discord, Luna slash Celestial or some other powerful 'good' guy from mlp to help us. Two. Stay here forever and forget our old selves and just stay here. Or Three beat around the bush and be stealthy and try to get out without anyone thinking were not of this world." Rick stated bluntly
"Well that was-"
"straight forward? Yes, Yes is was" Rick said finishing Conner sentence.
"So Joe witch one do you think we should do?"
"I don't know! were damn ponies for crying out loud!"
Rick put his two cents in once more "Well for all we know we could be in the quote on quote 'real mlp world'. like the shows we watch. so we might-"
"Wait what? you watch mlp?" Conner asked bluntly
"Does that matter right now? *ahem* as I was saying. If this is the show we should pick three. But if we want to get out of here now then one would be best. And last if we just don't care and want to life in sunshine and lollypops then two. But Three I
"You really thought this out. Didn't you?" Joe asked
"Nope! just thought it up" he said grinning ear to ear
"Well that sums it up! Three it is!" Conner said
"really? just like that... why?" Joe ask in disbelief
"because better be safe then sorry. and plus I'm tired"
With that Conner flopped back and closed his eyes. The Rain was a constant of pitter-pater on the already wet ground. His very own song to put him to sleep. The welcoming darkness of dreams, he greeted them with open arms. With that he let the first eve of his new life set in.
Joe looked at Conner for a bit before turning to Rick for support. But Rick was curled up in to a ball next to the willow. Joe sighed 'why me?' he thought to himself before he laid down in a way similar to the way his dog slept. The same two words followed him into the darkness of his dreams. 'Why me? '.
As Conner slept he was awoken by a noise. It was strange...
"Joe? Rick? you hear that?" he said a loud.
It was still dark. The full moon could be seen through the Willow tree.
"Yeah... I do but what is it?"
Rick looked up as the sound grew louder... "oh no...' Muttered
do-do-do-do banana bus! do-do-do-do banana-
"OH SHIT " They all screamed as the were crushed underneath the... banana bus.
