"All right, Dipstick, how about you try THIS on for size!" Ember yelled as she switched her guitar to Laser Bazooka. She hit a power chord and a large beam of purple light shot out of her guitar, narrowly missing a certain silver-haired ghost-boy. "Dipstick? Haven't you already used that one? Or did you fire the loser who comes up with your insults?" said Danny Phantom mockingly, while at the same time wondering how the heck he was going to beat Ember before remembering a new technique he'd been working on. He created a ball of green energy in his hand and then covered it in a layer of spiky ice. Danny hurled the frosty missile at his opponent, who tried to smack it away with her guitar, only to have it stick to the instrument. The icy ball of energy exploded, nearly destroying the guitar and certainly snapping a few wires. "Grrr. you'll pay for that Babypop! But for now I gotta bounce. Laterz!" and with that she flew through a green swirling portal that appeared on the side of a building. "You used that one before too!" Danny hollered after her as he began to give chase. But the portal closed before he could go through, causing him to slam face first into the brick side of the building. "That. Hurt." he said before flying to get Sam and Tucker. "Ember's been a real thorn in my side for the past two months." said Danny. "So?” asked Tucker. “Soooo, we’re going after her! Into the Ghost Zone!” Danny replied impatiently. ”And we aren’t taking the shuttle. That would probably get us attacked by other ghosts that we aren’t chasing.” “But Danny” said Sam “we’ll be more vulnerable without the shuttle.” “Relax, I’ll make us go invisible the whole time.” Replied Danny. Sam pouted. “Fine. Let’s go.” She and Tucker grabbed Danny’s hands walked towards the open ghost portal. But just before they walked through, an alarm blared through the lab and the swirling green of the ghost portal turned into what looked like glass. Danny’s mind screamed STOP! TURN BACK! STOP WALKING! But too late. They tripped and fell head first into the reflective surface of the glass, where they should have gotten nasty bruises, but instead passed straight through and blacked out. “I can’t wait to show you the Human World!” Twilight exclaimed to her friends. Fluttershy was hiding behind her mane, Applejack was just grinning a bit, Rarity was brushing some non-existent dirt off her coat, Pinkie Pie was bouncing off the walls, and Rainbow Dash was fidgeting with her TruForm Amulet. All the girls were wearing these so they would keep their pony bodies when they went through the mirror. Twilight was so excited to show her Ponyville friends to her CHS friends. {But Hold Up, let me back up a bit} Earlier that week… “Huzzah!” Twilight shouted, causing a certain baby dragon to jump out of bed and run smack into a wall. “OUCH! Twilight, why are you awake at 2:00 AM this time?” Spike inquired, rubbing his scaly head. “I’ve been doing some research.” Twilight said. Spike groaned. “Why am I not surprised?” Twilight continued.“I’ve been doing a lot of research on the Mirror Portal ever since the ‘Equestria Girls Incident’. Apparently there used to be a group of ancient unicorns who could perform a spell to make the portal open on demand, not every 30 moons. Back then Humans and Ponies would travel back and forth, engaging in trade and generally coexisting. But, during the Equestrian Civil War between (*BREATHE*) Celestia and Nightmare Moon, the group of warlocks were killed off and the spell lost. “But being the magical prodigy that I am, I think I might be able to replicate the spell and re-establish the link between Equestria and Earth. Pony and Man will be in touch for the first time in 1,000 years plus.” Twilight took a moment to catch her breath. Spike looked awed. “Twilight, that is so cool! But, I don’t exactly want to be a dog again.” “I’ve already thought of that and...Ta-Da!” She unveiled a box of gold amulets with shimmering pearls on them. Spike stared at them “what are those?” “These are TruForm Amulets. If you wear this, you will stay in your true form no matter what outside magic tries to change you.” Twilight said matter-of-factly. “Oh. Cool.” said Spike. Twilight nodded. “C’mon Spike, let’s go get the girls and go to the Crystal Empire!” Back in the present… “Alright girls,” Twilight said “Prepare for a whole new dimension” She charged up magic in her horn and let fly. The stream of magenta energy soared through the air and hit the mirror dead center. The glass started to glow, steadily getting brighter. But then the glass darkened and then it stopped being glass altogether, turning into swirling green energy. Applejack frowned. “Is that supposed to happen?” “No!” Twilight said, her mane starting to frizz out. “That isn’t supposed to happen at all!” Suddenly, the portal flashed and ejected three unconscious ponies onto the floor. The portal flashed again and a stream of blue fire shot out, flew around the room a bit, then zoomed out the door, leaving a fading echo of somepony strumming an electric guitar. “Well,” Rarity said “That escalated quickly… then ended abruptly.” //-------------------------------------------------------// who're you? //-------------------------------------------------------// who're you? Danny moaned as he woke up. Man, I feel terrible. He had a headache the size of Texas and it wasn’t getting any better. He groaned and lifted his hooves up to his forehead. Wait, HOOVES!?! Danny’s eyes shot open and indeed, two flesh-colored hooves were trembling in front of his face. He sat bolt-upright, sauce-panned eyes darting around the room. As far as Danny could tell, he was in a hospital, but that was in the back seat right now, seeing as HE WAS A HORSE!!! “What’s going on?” he said cautiously. The door opened and a sparkling green pony with a stethoscope and a lab coat on came in. “Ah, good, your awake. You’ve been out for three days. Would you like something to eat?” she said. Danny just stared at him. “You can talk?” The horse looked miffed. “Of course I can talk. You must have hit your head or something, thinking that ponies can’t speak.” Danny looked around again. “Where am I?” he asked. “Why, you’re in the Crystal Empire Health Clinic.” The “doctor” replied. “No, I mean, where am I on Earth?” Danny amended. The doctor looked puzzled, and replied “Don’t you mean Equis? You must have hit your head REALLY hard not to know what planet you’re on. Anyways, you’re in Equestria. Ruled by Princesses Celestia and Luna and, most recently, Twilight Sparkle. By the way, your accomplices are already awake. They also seemed confused at first. Although, they appear to have no knowledge of normal pony lifestyle. “The pale one, Sam, seemed slightly disgusted at all the colors of this land, and the one with the orange beret, Tucker, was distraught to find that there isn’t any… um… ‘Tek-naw-lojie’ here. (Whatever THAT is…)” “Well, that’s Tuck for you” said Danny, rolling his eyes.  His friend could be so weird sometimes. The doctor turned around as someone knocked on the door. “Ah, I’ll bet that’s your friends!” He opened the door to reveal two more ponies. One was a Pegasus with a coat the color of pale skin with a black mane and tail. She had purple lipstick on and looked grumpy and happy at the same time. She had a weird tattoo on both flanks that looked kind of like the Batman logo. The other one was regular pony with a coat the color of dry dirt. His mane was obscured by an orange beret and he didn’t appear to have a tail. Danny had no trouble guessing who they were. “Danny! You’re okay!” “Can you believe this place doesn’t have technology?” “We were so worried. How are you feeling?” “Not a Single computer in sight!” Danny held up his hooves in an attempt to quiet them. “I’m fine, I’m FINE! Let’s focus on finding out what went wrong with the Ghost Portal, then finding out how to get home.” “I’ve been hearing somepony pining for a computer” said a new voice. A new pony walked through the open doorway. He had a yellow coat, yellow eyes, black mane and tail with a yellow streak through it, wings, a super-sharp horn, and a flank-tattoo of a yellow letter T, but the downward line was in the shape of a lightning bolt. He seemed to give off an aura of power and combat prowess, as if he had fought a million wars and won every single one of them. He handed Tuck a pitch black PDA "There you go. sorry about him. the crystal empire has beern cut off from the rest of Equestria for 1,000 years, so they're kinda behind the times." the pony turned to Danny “My name is Lightning Striker. Prince of Electricity, and Master of Technology. What’s your name?” “Danny Fenton” Danny said cautiously. Lightning looked to the doctor “have you done any tests on his magical ability yet?” he asked. “I was just about to.” The doctor pulled out a machine with a dial and screen on its front and what looked like a metal waffle cone with its point connected to a wire that led to the side of the machine. He put the cone on Danny’s horn and looked at the machine. The dial went into the red zone and the screen read: Magic Type: Ectoplasmic/Common. Lightning furrowed his brow. “Do you know any… Form Changing spells? Be honest.” Danny got up and looked at Sam and Tucker hesitantly. Then he saw Lightning’s expression and steeled his nerves. He focused and said “Going Ghost!!!” A vertical silver-blue ring of light expanded from his waist and separated into two rings, quickly moving away from each-other. As they moved, the hair and skin they passed over turned black and silver. Eventually the rings died out, revealing a new pony. He had a black coat, a silver mane and tail, glowing green eyes, and had magic of the same color swirling gently around his horn. The doctor was having a seizure out of total shock, while Lightning looked mildly impressed. “Knew it” he muttered. Suddenly a crystal guard burst into the room. “LIGHTNING!” the guard shouted “the princesses want you outside ASAP! A strange looking building just appeared outside the castle. Just appeared out of nowhere. And for some reason the building has a neon sign that says ‘Fenton Labs’.” Danny groaned. Now his parents were here. Great. They would probably try to kill all the ponies thinking they were ghosts. Lightning nodded “I’ll be right there” and left the room. Danny followed. Chaos ran rampant through the streets. until one day, the Royal pony sisters kicked Discord right in his chaotic (redacted). As he was being petrified he harnessed the power of nature swirling around him and used it to create 5 chaotic alicorn "sons", each imbued with complete and total control over a certain region of nature. Lightning, Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire. After their maker was set in stone, they went about destroying everything in their path. but, after about 50 years plus, the peacful aura equestria radiated seeped into their minds they developed personalities, lifestyles, and eventually, Names. they were Lightning Striker, Tidal Wave, Crimson Flame, Quake, and Gale force. a fortress in the sky was made for them to live in. The spirits of water,earth wind, fire and lightning promised that if the Elements of Harmony should ever be nullified or overpowered, they would be equestria's last line of defense. they set about making their own artifacts, imbuing them with a fraction of their ultimate power. thus the little-used Elements of nature were crafted. the spirit of lightning was the only one who visited equestria on a normal basis
