"Spike, do you know where the urban legends book went?" Twilight was searching through the library. It was an assignment from Princess Celestia. She had to read the legend of Aero: Defender of Equestria.

"Found it!" He held up the book as he was searching in a pile.

"Thanks." She took the book. "Now let's see.. Aha!" She started reading. The legend has it, Aero was the one and only Defender of Equestria. But he mysteriously disappeared after a nasty battle with Nightmare Moon. And that if the Elements of Harmony are in an exact formation where the full moon shines, you will summon him. She closed the book.

"Well, that's another thing of the to-do list." She put the book back where it belonged and walked out to run other errands.

THWACK.

"There's a another few apples." Applejack said, bucking another apple tree. She picked the basket up with her mouth and trotted inside with the basketful of apples. She put them down. She then thought for a moment. Cider or Pie? Cider. She began making the cider. Once she was done, she served them to the family.

Fluttershy was with Angel and they were in the forest, taking a walk. Angel then saw something and ran off.

"Angel!" She ran off after him.

Pinkie was at Sugarcube Corner, serving customers. Finishing the cider, Applejack then served it to her family. A few seconds after they all sat down, Twilight burst in.

"WHAT IN TARNATION?!" Applejack yelled, falling off her chair.

"AJ! Meet me tonight in the middle of town!" She said quickly, then slammed the barn door. Big Mac looked at the door for a moment, then at Applejack. The family followed suit. Applejack just gave a shrug. Fluttershy finally caught up to Angel. She took him home, seeing Twilight waiting for her at her cottage door.

"Meet me in the middle of town tonight." She said, then rushing off. Rarity was making clothes for a customer. A note slid in through the door. She finished a design, gave it to the customer, and after the customer was gone, she picked up the note. "Meet me tonight in the town square. -TS" Just then, Applejack walked in.

"Rarity, do ya know why Twilight wants us all to meet her at the town square tonight?" Applejack asked with a confused look on her face.

"Not a clue. We might as well go along with it." Getting Rainbow Dash was the difficult part. When she came close to ground, Twilight called and waved her hooves in the air. She finally got her down.

"What?" Rainbow asked gruffly.

"Tonight, meet me in town square. It's important." She then trotted off. Why was she doing this all of a sudden you ask? Well, once she was finished running errands the curiosity was getting the better of her. So, she set out and invited her friends to town square that night to see if the legend was true or not.

That night, the 5 confused ponies all meet with Twilight.

"Ok everyone. Get into position as if we had the necklaces and tiara on." Reluctantly, they did just that, but nothing happened for the next couple of minutes. At least, that's what they thought. Eventually, they got tired and were about to go home when Pinkie noticed something.

"Hey guys! Wait! That star in the sky looks brighter than the others! And it's getting bigger and brighter." She exclaimed. Twilight was the first to notice as her pupils shrank.

"Pinkie..I don't think that's a star." The light was getting closer. But it didn't seem threatening. Twilight now had some hope. At last, the light, which was now a giant sphere of light floating down to the ground. The light faded. And a white colt with a black mane, black tail, and wings. The stranger looked down on all of them disapprovingly, who's faces had changed from awe to fear. They back away one step every time the pegasus took one step forward to them.

"Who-who are you?" Twilight said nervously. The colt's eyes meet her's.

"Aero. The 7th Element. Element of Hope. Defender of Equestria."
