Long ago, the great entity forge a world called Earth, as set forth their children to safeguard the lands. Not long soon, Earth is invaded by creatures from another universe for its great resources. This event had led the children of the great entity to divide Earth into 5 realms ; The high heavens, the heaven, the mortal realm, hell and the abyss.
The realms had one rule : The dwellers of each realms are able to travel only one realm away from their origin realm. Of course with such rule, the demons of hell would wage war to conquer the mortal realms, and the gods of heaven will seek to interfere with the battle.
Great war had wage among the demon and gods, which led the heaven dwellers to train and develop a fighting god called Taisho. One had merge to seems like a prodigy. His name is Kenpo.
The Taisho is a great warrior, equipped with a noble weapon which only individual with spiritual powers are able to wield ad forge, the Taisho Blade. The Taisho Blade, unactivated only to look like a handle, but Kenpo's blade is unique. Not only his blade able to emit one side of spirtual blade, but both ends of the handle are able to emit a vast spiritual power, making it look like a staff. Kenpo had fought many wars among men, and fought many great demons that reign terror in the mortal realm. He is praised, worshiped by many.
One day, the rules of the realms had been broken. Creatures from the Abyss had emerge to the mortal realms, terrorizing and bend the will of humans. To Kenpo's dismay, he had yet face or seen the creatures from the abyss. The gods sought help from the High Heavens, whom had disagreed to interfere which will bring unbalances to the realm of Earth. Kenpo was disappointed on the judgement from the High Heavens, and travel to the realm to steal an artifact for his own aid, a dagger.
Desperate, Kenpo knew the only way to win over this war is to eliminate the creatures from the Abyss, and only one who rules over them; Diablo. On the darkest day, Diablo had unleashed all the great demons from hell and abyss, while the gods and men are being massacred, Kenpo was at a distance, only had one true aim to shoot the dagger to Diablo's forehead. " One true aim..", whispered Kenpo, and shoot the dagger tied to an arrow, impaled directly to Diablo.
Diablo was defeated. The creatures from the Abyss had fallen. Once again, cheers around for Kenpo Taisho. He saw the dagger lying on the ground and kept it, tied around his neck as his trophy. Unknowingly, the dagger had absorbed the essence of Diablo, and slowly absorb the essence of Kenpo around his presents.
Many years has passed. Kenpo, slowly affected by Diablo's essence, had driven mad. The once great hero felt the solitude of his own kind and secretly recruit a band of mortals to train them as Taisho. Knowing of this, the High Heavens send out a judgement to seize Kenpo and his Taisho clans, locking them in a universe where one must survive by fighting.
Fate has its way, where the blade was lost in the mortal realm, emerge as a baby. The local farmer couple found the baby and took it as their own, naming him Shining Armor. Thus, the story begins, of Shining Armor's quest to seek his destiny.
