The Pegasus let a giant groan erupt from his mouth, "Oh what now?" A unicorn scowled over at him.
"It's the night, it's so annoying."
"What do you mean?"
"It's too dark and just stupid!" He almost yelled, "You can't blame nature for doing what it does best."
"I might just complain to Celestia about this damn night. I don't care about her dumb sister!" He sighed, "Im gonna get home, bye." He grumbled, taking off. The unicorn walked herself home, not noticing the figure that was behind them the whole time, silently sobbing, then taking off to a field not to far from the small town, "It's not fair.." She wiped the tears from her eyes and teleported onto the top of a house and yelled, her voice wobbly, "It's.. Not.. FAIR!" Almost everypony woke up and looked at the silhouette on the roof of the house, then immeadiatly fly off to the castle.
The blue alicorn landed on the balcony, resting her hooves over it, "Time to lower the moon then, Luna.." She said to herself, her horn lighting up, but then fading, galloping to her sister's room, quietly walking in, "Uhm.. Sister?" She smiled softly, looking at the large white alicorn whip her head over, "Luna! Why haven't you lowered the moon?!" She snapped, Luna jolted back, "Well.. Uh, I was wondering if I could.. Have the moon up for one whole day? Just so everypony could see it for onc--"
"LUNA! I do not have time for games, now go back to your room and lower the moon!" She yelled, pointing her hoof to the door, leaving the alicorn to wander back to her room. Luna had eventually gotten to lower the moon, her face tucked behind her blue mane, "Well? What did she say..?" An echo-like voice spoke from a small mirror, Luna levitated the handle and looked at the mare inside it, "She said no, Moony.." She sniffed, rubbing her eyes once again, "Im so sorry, Luna, I'm sure we can do something about this..!"
"It's not your fault, Moony, it's HERS!" She cried, throwing the mirror back where it was and curled up in a tight ball, clsoing her eyes tightly, the black creature emerging from the mirror, it's blue mane flowing gently, stars dotted inside it, "Luna, you have to stand up to your sister. She might not like it, but.. So far all those fools ignore our beautiful night." The mare smiled, "But.. She has all those guards and ponies in her side.. She could banish me from Equestria for pony's sake!"
"I know but.. You have to try, Luna..."
"You've said that before but it never works!" She cried, looking up at the mare-shadow, a dissapointed look cast upon her face, "We'll just have to wait for the right time, then.."
~A Few Years Later~
The large alicorn grinned joyfully as the sun went down, eagerly rising the beautiful moon, her blue mane, dotted by stars flowing gently through the wind, then her smile fading to a disappointed face, "What's wrong, Luna?" The mirror questioned the alicorn, "I just wish the night could last forever, Nightmare..!" She cooed, then took off over the balcony and into the gardens, the guards were being trained because of a new danger or something, Luna hung her head and frowned, "I've waited long enough now.." Luna's horn lit up, a burst of blue light forming around her, her once blue coat, now black and light bye armour surrounded her head and boots. "SISTER!" Celestia cried, a worried expression cast onto her face as she looked at her corrupted sister, "Luna.. What happened..?"
"YOUR PATHETIC LITTLE PONIES CARE NOTHING FOR US!" The voice boomed, sounding nothing like Luna, her horn lighting up and zooming over the blast over to Celestia with a powerful spell, sending her into a giant brick wall before plummeting down into the muddy ground, "Everypony with know the wonder of our dark and jewelled sky! When the world is wrapped in an eternal night!" She cackled, "Say goodnight, princess.." She laughed maniacally, rising her hooves up at the grounded princess, the stomping them back down, causing her to let out a horrid scream of pain, then turning to fly to her room. She looked at the mirror, it was shattered but her larger mirror had something written on it, "YoU haVe DoNE wEll cHILd.".
